Hotaru pressed his back against the frame of the door to let Inari pass by. They got embarrassingly close and as he glanced down at her face her nervous expression became a couple shades redder. Hotaru quickly turned his eyes away to pretend he didn't notice. Once they got outside Inari came to a stop. He let out a small laugh "In a hurry?" He looked towards the sky and scanned the area "Uhh, he said follow the direction of the dragon-snake, so this way" He pointed south east. "He didn't give me much but he did say that at the base of a mountain theres a large forest and who we're looking for is in there and the demon has two of his shards. He said we'll know when we arrive" Hotaru let out a sigh "Again with the games he likes to play... Anyway, lets go" He suggested.

Shiro looked up at Izanami who was reluctant at first but seemed to be considering her proposal. She then made a request and Shiro froze for a minute. Shiro wanted nothing but to be able to fight by her side and maybe even be friends, so the question took her by surprise and left her feeling heavy. "I... I promise" She finally agreed. "But I won't let it get to that" Shiro reassured Izanami. "Take your time with preparing, I can't say how long we will be in our search for Naraku"

"Whats that supposed to mean?" Kito questioned the strange demon slayer "W-what? Aren't you just a human?" He raised an eyebrow and then shook his head for clarity. "Naraku did this long time ago. Killed my clan and left me in here to rot. Its not like anyone but Naraku can do anything about it. Anyway, are you here to slay me or something?" He asked rather casually and almost as if he wanted to get it over with. Naraku had put the barrier around his cave quite some time ago

Jichou had interrupted Kagari's thoughts with a question. "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" Kagari replied. "I already know what he plans to do with her. What, you dont? It's either Naraku doesn't trust you very much or you dont know him at all" Kagari said with sass as she went on trying to get in his head. She noticed him trying to keep ahead of her and she rolled her eyes. She didn't understand why she had to paired up with Jichou, Naraku knew she didn't get along with him. She began to think that maybe Jichou had a point, but those thoughts quickly returned to admiring Naraku and his 'brilliant' mind.
