Although it was only midday, Monty decided to turn it too. He tried not to look at Diavi's face as he did, instead focusing on taking out his sleeping bag. Then he too tried to get some quality sleep.

Diavi closed his eyes, thinking about what could happen to them, here is what he came up with :
One of us could die from sickness.
one of us could just leave the other.
one of us could be eaten, or worse, both.
one.............


He fell asleep. Maybe not peacefully, but asleep.

Even with the rain drumming in his ears, he would have had no trouble sleeping, but Monty still decided to stay awake a while longer, just looking at Diavi's sleeping face. After that, he tucked in and closed his eyes to get the sleep he badly needed.

When Diavi woke up, it was morning, a day lost is a day wasted, so he didn't waste any time rolling up the sleeping bag of his, and put it in the bag.

Monty was fast, he'd managed to stuff everything neatly in his pack quickly, but he held himself and managed not to yell at Diavi, who was slower. Instead, he just waited impatiently outside the tent. He just wanted to get on.

Diavi stepped out of the tent, "Morning." he said cheerfully, okay, so it was a fake cheerful tone, but Monty hopefully didn't notice.
Diavi held out a peauntbutter sandwich, the reason he was slow, to Monty.

"Oh." Monty's tone was pleased and surprised, and sincere. He didn't expect the sandwich. "Morning. And thanks," he said. He just hoped he hadn't taken to hard on Diavi when he'd hardly done anything at all.

Diavi smiled, "No problem." he said, this time actually happy. "Lets get home." he said smiling.

"All right." Grinning, Monty clamped the sandwich between his teeth and began to dismantle the tent while eating without having to use his hands. It was quick and easy work, and knowing that most animals only came out at night, they would probably be safe for now.

Diavi scooted closer to Monty, and helped with the tent.
