Pol blinked, shocked. "Váli, I'd never yell at you. Besides, I'm sure I'm more likely to make mistakes." He squeezed back, trying to reassure her. A small worm of doubt wiggled into his head. Is it even possible for this to survive if neither of us trusts ourselves? Pol scolded himself. He'd make certain that this would work, mistakes or no. He smiled timidly. "Well, I don't think it'll do us any good to worry. Besides, I'd do just about anything for someone as sweet, funny, and gorgeous as you." He gave her a little nudge, chuckling.
