I heard her, I knew this was hard for her. I couldn't help, I'm a useless beta at this moment. "We just have to hope that Alex is strong enough to take Tanterious away. And nothing is your fault, this wasn't on you." I hummed softly looking at her for minute and frown, she must of been tired after the spar. "You were great in the spar tonight." I spoke softly trying to get her attention on something else, a good thing. I didn't know what to do with this. What to say even.

Alex is strong, I know that. But mental battles aren't easy and I worry about him probably more than I should. But I can't agree with Jake and his statement- because it's my fault that Alex has Tanterious. That he even is a hybrid. Swallowing, I turn and look up at him, chuckling a little at his compliment. "Thank you Jake. And thanks for saving me- again." I sigh and shake my head a little before glancing down to my arm. What can I do about this? To help Alex? Reaching up, I rub at my head a little. "I think... I need a nap." I mumble before turning to go upstairs. "Give me an hour or two." I need time with my thoughts and time to rest, feeling emotionally on edge but physically exhausted.

Hearing her say thanks, I noded to her softly. Shifting lightly I knew that she was blaming herself but there wasn't much I could do to help her with this. What I talked it was just words. I wasn't Alex. Though I knew I wouldn't never be the beta that was that helpful, but at least I could do some protecting. "I didn't really save you, you were helpful aswell." I couldn't take all the credit anyhow, I think Alex was holding the wolfs focus just enough for make small enough mistakes for me to get in attacks. But knowing that he was out there alone, and the Eric was trailing him didn't sit well. Hearing her said she needed a nap, I couldn't blame her. "Okay, I'll be out here when you get up. Did you want me to make some dinner?" I called up to her as she went up the stairs.

He was honestly too nice to me. But I appreciated it. Friendship was so precious. Pausing on the stairs, I turn and shake my head. "Uh, no thank you. I'm not hungry." I say and offer an apologetic smile. "But I'll see you later." And with that, I finished going upstairs. I felt sick with worry and didn't think I could eat now or in the near future, but it's nice of him to care and offer. Walking into our room, I sigh and lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling as I try to mentally retrace all that has happened the past week. I had to be missing something...

Nodding I understood why she didn't want to eat. "Sleep well." I called before she disappeared into the room. Bitting my lip for the moment, thinking. MAybe i should cook something for later so she would just be able to heat it up. Smiling at myself, I needed a distraction. With Eric watching Alex and I'm watching over Bael there was nothing to do. So I just started to cook.

After the two hour mark I have make chicken stiry fry and baked a lemon cake. When Beal hadn't come done I decided to go check on her. Cleaning my hands before heading up the stairs. Standing outside the room now Iknocked on the door gently. "Hey Bael, did you want to get up, or should I leave you be?" I asked softly, with a small chuckle but if Ididn't hear anything back then I would just let her sleep.

I had decided to take a nap and "sleep on it." That is, hope that my mind might calm down with some sleep so that way I could think more clearly. By the time Jake came upstairs and knocked, I had been pacing back and forth and thinking things through for some time. There was something I was missing, but I couldn't seem to find the connecting factor between the pieces... "
"Ah, I'll be out in a moment." I say, looking over to the door before sighing softly. Moving to the closet, I grabbed a hoodie and pulled it over myself before stepping out, sniffing the air a little. "I wasn't asleep for too long, was I?" I ask curiously, moving to walk down the stairs. I need some water

Iheard her call through the door, I'm glad that she was awake. Well half of me was. I wished she was sleeping to help her mind more. Iwas caught off gaurd when she opened the door, I noticed her sweatshirt. Did she change her clothes, or was she just cold? I shoke my head, no I couldn't concern myself with that. "No you weren't asleep to long." I agreed with a small chuckle before I watched her walk downstairs and I quickly catch up. "What are you thinking about? Can I help?"I asked softly walking into the kitchen, maybe she'd want some food now.

"Oh good." I say lightly at his words of agreement, hearing his chuckle and steps behind me. Grabbing my glass, I fill it with water and raise an eyebrow at the questions. "Hmm..." Chugging the glass down, I shrug a bit. "I'm thinking about everything." I say, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. Grabbing a chair, I sit in it backwards, resting my chin atop the back of it. "Tanterious has always been this strong." I say, picking at my fingernails a little. "so the only thing that can make sense to me is that something has been weakening Alex." I sigh a bit and glance back up to Jake. "He... he was exhausted after the whole.... Michael thing."
