I smiled softly not wanting to let go. Hearing her say that I needed to be careful, I knew that. I needed to be more careful then she knew. But that was another story for another day. "Of course I'll be careful so I can come back to you love." I hummed softly snuggling into her more. Hearing her question and her pulling away made me sad. But I took a soft breath before chuckling. "Of course, Love. We can watch the stars." I smiled softly kissing her forehead again before lifting her chin with my fingers to kiss her softly. I didn't want to let her go not right now. I didn't want to patrol but I needed to not be around I didn't want her questioning me.

(Okie that works! And what is Jake asks her if she had noticed anything off about alex :D hehe a coop so to speak!)

This man. He held my whole heart, that was certain. I smile brightly at his words, already perfectly elated with today and it is still only morning. "Oh good." I smile before feeling his forehead kiss and his fingers beneath my chin. I happily kissed him in return, my arms moving about his neck, closing the distance between us as I pressed myself closer to him. It was crazy, all that we had been through, both together and apart. But still, here we were and it seemed as though the moon goddess herself was smiling down upon us. Parting, I buried my face into his neck and left the smallest of kisses on his skin. "I probably shouldn't keep you from your duties." I whisper, nibbling at my lower lip. "But I really never want to let you go." I laugh softly before laying my head on his shoulder, wishing we could spend the day together but knowing that as alpha he had things that needed to be done. "I love you."

I hugged her back tighter, as if I let her go she would fade. I didn't want that. I thought to much about it, about her fading. Of even me fading, it wasn't fair. Chuckling softly as the soft tickle of her neck kisses. She was always so gentle and sweet, it was almost the opposite of him sometimes. "I know but I'll be back. And then we can have all the cuddles you can handle, okay?" I asked softly pulling away from the hug. I felt my stomach growl, not a light growl either. It was a strange feeling when I was vampire, I didn't have the ache in my stomach it was more head then anything else. Being almost human was strange to me, the weird new feelings and pains. Nothing like a remember before. "Go on inside I don't want you catching a cold." I hummed softly, it was that time of the year when it was cold outside. Though I knew full well that the cold meant nothing to her. Or me for that matter, though now I could feel the tempurature changes that I hadn't before. I just didn't want my stomach to growl again and her to hear it.

His words make my mouth pull up at the corners, a gentle soft smile as I think about the cuddles that would follow. He always managed to do that- to make me smile and to make me feel so happy. It didn't matter how often I was near him, I always had that feeling of peaceful bliss. He was my happy place. "Hmmm I guess that sounds like a pretty fair trade..." I say with a little smirk as he pulls away and I practically beam up at him. I heard a sound but failed to recognize that it was his stomach, and he speaks again. "Awww, you're so cute. Always so worried about me." I hum and gently brush my hand on his cheek before kissing the end of his nose. "Alright love. I'll go inside and you get to patrol. I love you more than anything." The last part is practically purred and after one last gaze into his eyes, I plant a kiss on his forehead and pull away. "Don't do anything too crazy~" I say behind me as I head back inside

I smiled, she was always loving. It was strange but I liked it. It was a balance, I wasn't so touchy feely and she was. I was happy she accepted by trade of cuddles. Even if it was just laying down and me probably falling asleep like normal. But this time would probably be faster since I didn't have much energy now that I didn't have food. "Ah you don't be crazy, Jake can make people crazy sometimes." I called out with a small laugh. "But I love you to." I hummed softly. I couldn't believe that she had proposed to me. That was crazy, a twist in fate. I figured we needed to have more time, but I gues life like this you wouldn't want to wait. I smiled waiting for her to get all the way inside before jogging off into the woods, though when others from the pack go patroling they would shift into their wolf. I didn't, it was to painful to shift in and out all the time. It wasn't a normal shift, the vampire side grips and pulls because that side of me doesn't understand. So I just jog in the woods as me.

Jake
I had just gotten out of my room for the morning grabbing myself a cup of coffee. I knew it was my day for Patrol but I was tired. I just needed some coffee first. It wasn't like anyone was going to try and attack us. I think Alex is a little crazy and over protective of that girl. I understand though but she's just one girl. He is a hybrid he could get anyone he wanted. Sighing as I leaned against the counter sipping at my coffee.

I can't help but chuckle at his words, walking inside and carefully closing the door behind me. Breathing a deep and relieved sigh, I shake my head a little. I can't believe I had actually done it- executing my plan and giving him the bracelet. I was nearly shaking out of nervousness before he had followed the ribbon to the end, contemplating on whether I should just hide the box and say something stupid and cheesy instead. But I hadn't chickened out, and now I was more than grateful for my summoned bravery. Smiling like the triumphant idiot I am, I moved to the kitchen to begin cleaning up everything. "Good morning Jake. How are you doing?" I ask warmly, beginning to pull the sticky notes off in order and stack them on top of each other. "Alex just left for patrol and he said I should try to train with you today." I add, glancing over to him with a light smile. "Would you be up for that?"

glancing around when she started to pull the sticky notes, I guess I didn't realize that they were there. "Good morning, Luna. I'm great, what about you?" I spoke back giving a light dip of my head. Sipping my coffee just watching her. I didn't want to help her. I didn't need to, I didn't make the mess. Though I did wonder what all this was for. Hearing Alex had went out on patrol made me almost spit my coffee. Crap, he was mad wasn't he. "Oh uh weird." I mumbled softly putting the cup down on the counter. "Oh, yeah any chance Ican take the Luna down I'd love to."I chuckled softly moving over and shrugging my arm into hers with a small laugh. She hasn't beat me yet, so that means Alex can't train with her. He was trying to get her to become better then me. But it wouldn't happen if I know all her movements she would have a very tough time. Considering I'm still learning from Alex himself.

Weird...? It was all he ever did anymore. Patrol and train and sleep, repeat. His words bring a smile to my face, and I chuckle at his arm shrugging against mine. "Yeah yeah, rub it in why don't ya." I whine playfully, grabbing the last sticky note before looking back at him with determination. "I'll get there some day. Just you wait." Wagging my finger at him playfully, I untie the red ribbon from the fridge door and hum a little to myself. At least he wasn't asking questions and I wouldn't have to explain. "How did you get so good anyways?" I ask curiously, beginning to wind up the ribbon into a little ball after setting the pile of sticky notes on the counter

Sighing soflty noticing her face. "I was supposed to patrol today." I said soflty watching her grab the last of the sticky notes. "You'll get there eventually yes. I hope so." I laughed softly. I wanted to ask what all of this was about but I didn't really care to know. If it was important she would say something. "I was from another pack, they drilled combat and defense from a young age. Don't get me wrong Alex is still way better. But I'll catch up to him soon." I spoke softly, looking around before my eyes land on a banana. Mean breakfast. I wiggle my way over to it before picking it up. "Why do you want to be able to spar with him anyways. It's not like he'll let you fight." I spoke honestly, Alex didn't seem like that kind of guy to let his love go into battle. I think if he did he'd spend all his time worried that she wouldn't have enough fighting skill, and end up getting hut himself. But he's gonna do what he wants I know that much.

His words and my eyebrows furrow a little. So... Alex was patrolling for Jake? I wonder if he is okay. "Hmmm..." It's all I can really manage before listening to him again. I pull a smile back to my features and shake my head a little. I would get there, regardless of what it took. Time was all I needed. Listening to his explanation, I tilt my head curiously. Drilled combat and defense? "Oh, I see... well, you sure have a lot of experience." I glance back to him and see the banana. His words cause me pause and I sigh a little. "It's not exactly about that." I say and shake my head a little. "I don't care if I am to fight. Alex would not be too happy about the idea of putting me in danger- not again. But I need the security to know that I can at least hold my own if the need arises." I exhale deeply, thinking back to the night I was entirely too outnumbered. Swallowing, I push the memory away and continue to ravel up the ribbon, moving toward the stairs as I continue to clean up
