Walking through the ribbons and reading the notes made me emotional. It was so touching that she would go through all this trouble for me. I didn't think anyone would do this for me. Getting to the kitchen I seen the ribbon of the fridge door. Reading her poem made me smile. What in the world if this girl doing. Moving from there I followed the ribbon outside, just completely amazed at the effort and time this much had taken to complete this for me. I hadn't done anything like this for anyone, I clearly needed to step up my game.

Finally, the ribbon lead outside and I couldn't help but chew at my lower lip in anticipation, holding a neatly wrapped present with the ribbon tied about it. Hearing the door open, I glance up and smile as I see Alex has followed the red ribbon all the way to the end. Smiling warmly, I feel just a little bit awkward after he's read my notes and poem. Hopefully, he had liked it and it wasn't too much... "Good morning love." I say warmly before holding the small box out to him a little nervously. "I.. well... I just want you to know that I love you- more than anything else in this world." I'm nervous, and I shift my weight between my feet a little. What if he doesn't like it? "It's not always easy to find someone you would want to spend the rest of your life with, but for me, that someone is you. I'm really not very good with words at all-" I blush a little and shake my head. "So I guess you should just open it." I bite at the insides of my cheeks, looking from his eyes and down to the box that is wrapped in brown paper.
Inside the box was a bracelet made of leather cord and with a moon pendant. On the back, if he looked, was a simple inscription: 'marry me?"

After following the rope and seeing her at the end of it made me smile. "Good morning Beautiful." I replyed softly. Watching her, she was nervous I could tell. But why? She has been around me for a long time. She was cheesy and romantic, more then I was. I didn't know what do to. I kinda just blocked everything out, romantically, I mean for as long as I can remember. Now having her here made me have to face it. Her words made me face this. Sometimes overwhelmingly so. But nonetheless, I had fallen for this girl. This younger then me by hundreds of years. I wondered how she could love someone so old. Her words seem out of place, like she was leading me somewhere. Was I just oblivious to it? Where was she going with this. I glance down at the box for a moment. "You don't have to be good at words, Love. I've never good at them either." I chuckled softly leaning forwards before cupping her chin in my hand before leaning further and kissing her gently and then I took the package gently from her hands. I opened in looking at the leather cord braclet now. It was pretty yet manly at the same time. Looking it over I noticed the inscription. 'marry me?' Wait, was she proposing. Wasn't this my job? I was shocked. GIving a soft chuckle. "Oh my, Love." I hummed softly shifting, my face red. I felt weird, that this was backwards. "Of course I will. But wasn't I supposed to do this?" I laughed softly before reaching out and pulling her into a kiss softly. At this point it didn't really matter if it was backwards. She took the words out of my mouth. "I love you, always and forever." I spoke softly pulling away from her.

I can't help but smile as he speaks and chuckles softly, sweetly kissing him back before nibbling at my lower lip as he accepts the box. Honestly, I was nothing but a ball of nerves and my stomach has decided to turn flips. Swallowing, I watch him carefully as he removes the paper and opens it, fidgeting nervously as he examines it. Almost everything hung in the balance now. What would he say? Had I overstepped a line? What would happen if he said no...? What if he hated it?! I felt the heat rise in my cheeks as a blush flashes across my features, everything out on the table now. But his soft chuckle and I look up at him hopefully, eyes searching his handsome features. I offer a large grin at the question, but I don't have time to answer before I'm pulled into a kiss. It's as though a wave of relief washes over me and I gently kiss him back, happy tears forming in my eyes. Pulling away, I look up at him in pure adoration and wonder, still baffled as to how exactly I am so lucky to have him. "I know it's untraditional... but I wanted to show you how much I really truly love you." I smile warmly and gently take one of his hands in mine, giving it a light squeeze. "Even if it meant finding out we wanted different things." I can't stop staring up at him, my breath taken by the reality that he was entirely mine. "Do you... like it?" I ask, my cheeks flushing again. It wasn't anything fancy or incredibly expensive, and nothing compared to a shiny ring, but I thought it would be fitting for him.

I smiled, this was prefect for me. And I knew she was nervoue because she was rambling, she did that when she was nervous. I took a moment to slid on the bracelet on my right wrist. "I really do love you to. I mean this is the first time in a really long time that I'd have someone to love." I spoke softly pulling the hand that was in hers up to kiss her hand gently. "This is perfect, I'm only sorry that I didn't pop the question first. I didn't know if you would want to." I hummed softly, happy that she asked. I knew that with me starving my body wouldn't be a good thing and it'll be stressful for everyone. Should I tell her? I knew I shouldn't that would worry her to much. But if I am engaged to her shouldn't I? "I'm happy I can spend forever with you, even though I'm unsure of how long my forever will be, I'm just happy its with you."

Why did he always have to be so cute..? I watch him pull it onto his wrist and I can't help but smile a little at that. His words and I chuckle softly, shaking my head. "You don't need to be sorry at all." I assure him before practically beaming at his next words. "Any amount of forever with you is all I need." I say softly before letting go of his hand and instead hugging him tightly. "I'm so happy I have you, Alex." I practically purr, giving him a good little squeeze. "And I hope you know I'm gonna love you always and forever." I add before pulling away just enough to land a soft and gentle kiss on his mouth. It is absolutely comforting and relieving that he likes my gift to him, and I feel all my nerves dissipate. "Mine." I whisper quietly as we part from the kiss, my hand on his cheek and my eyes searching his

I smlied softly, I enjoy being around her. She was great. This was something I looked forever to and dreaded all the same. I didn't understand it most days. But my heart craved for it, more so now then before. I didn't know if it was because it was beating now. "You you became my forever when you had me bite you." I spoke softly, it wasn't all true. Because if she did I wouldn't run. But she was the reason I had to run. I couldn't put her at risk. My thoughts drug me back to what my experiment was doing. I was putting her at risk. I couldn't do that. Did I need to finish this somewhere else? Maybe I needed to include Jake. No, I should tell her. I felt her hugs me and I hugged back but I wasn't pulled from my thoughts until her gentle kiss. I hummed softly hearing her words. "You are mine as well." I chuckled gently, my eyes filled with worry. I didn't want to ruin the moment. I couldn't tell her. She was just relaxing after all this. I tried to push the emotions from my eyes. "Anywhere with you is my forever. Speaking of, what are you doing today?" I spoke softly, I was just trying to say things, it didn't have to be much just enough so she wouldn't ask questions, I hoped she would take the bait.

My head was filled with ideas of the future- of laughing and crying and growing as people- together. The two of us against whatever the world decided to throw in our direction. It was always something I had daydreamed about, but now it had every possibility in the world to be our reality. His words and I blink a little before smiling happily, his gentle chuckle absolute music to my ears. Why was he always so dang cute? "Hmm? Oh, today." I shrug a little, smiling up at him. "Whatever you want me to do, I suppose. I didn't make any plans. But I should probably clean up everything around the house..." I give an apologetic smile, feeling a little awkward that the rest of the pack would be able to see everything. I probably should have thought that out a little better- not that I minded them seeing how much I love him, but because I don't want to embarrass Alex. I was being less than observant at the moment, and failed to notice his worry due to my elatedness at the proposal being successful. "are you on patrol again today?" I ask softly, looking up at him with a gentle smile

"I want you to spar with Jake today." I spoke softly after she told me what she was doing. I couldn't have her catching me on patrol. Or asking to many questions. I couldn't explain to her the things I needed to. I felt to new to this. To new to sharing everything, I wasn't sure of I felt about her and Ibeing engaged. I knew it was a good idea but wether now was a good time was the question. "Oh uh yes, I patrol today. I'm sorry Love. But yes yes, clean up please. I do love all the notes and things but the guys don't need to see a volunerable alpha" I hummed. pulling her close and kissing the top of her head gently. "Thank you for that." I couldn't make up my mind. Though I knew today wasn't the day for this, this bombshell. It needed to wait. I didn't want to ruin the time we are sharing today. I wrap my arms around her tightly not wanting to let go.

I look up at him and give a little nod. Okay, sparring... I definitely needed the practice anyways. And I had to work myself up to beating Jake before I could train with my fiance. Oooh, that word is so nice and new and precious. "Alright love." And then I listen to him and smile softly, feeling like I could float as he softly kissed the top of my head. "It's okay darling, I understand that patrol is important." I say before gently rubbing my hands on both of his arms. "And I will have it cleaned up right away, don't worry about it. I'm just glad that you liked it." I smile and embrace the tight hug, nuzzling my face into his shoulder. "You gotta promise to be safe today, okay?" I ask, enjoying our closeness. I can hear his heart beat, fresh and new. And with it is the promise of a real future together. "Tonight will you watch the stars with me?" Is invited gently as I pull back a little and look up at him. "Prettyyyy please?" I pout my lip a little playfully, giving him a true 'puppy dog' look
