Hearing that her food was good made me happy. I'm glad that she had a good meal. Yeah, really was to bad not make me stay. But either way I wouldn't eat. My stomach was already growling. Looking up at her as she came to the bed, asking me that question. I needed to patrol, I needed to have the reason. I also needed to keep her safe, this was the only active role I have that I can play. "I'm sorry, Love. I do. Jake has some stuff to do tomorrow, so I'm pulling his rounds." I humed sofly wrapping my arms around her slender body. "I do wish that I could stay and cuddle with you all day." I chuckled softly giving light kisses to her neck gently before pulling away, shifting to get comfortable.

((aaahh sorry! I was trying to read what happens to the human body during starvation. It seems like the problems would become worse with time, but irritability and mood swings and aggressiveness would definitely make sense. And animals when they get hungry do -anything- to get food. I think it might make sense for him to try to keep things under control and then the wolf and vampire side come out to play and he goes berserk, But yes, hunger pains would definitely make sense))

I gave a small nod at his reply before chuckling. "Alright sweetpea. Just be careful- and you can't have too much fun without me." I say with a hum, smiling at his little kisses before yawning again. Our sparring had me wiped... "Hmmm cuddling all day would be nothing short of a dream." I say, pulling the covers a bit closer. "But I'm sure Jake would tease us some more." A small laugh at that before I look to him, feeling incredibly tired. "One day, though." A sleep smile. "But goodnight dear, I hope you sleep sweet."

(Ah yeah, lol makes sense :D.. The two sides of him could battle. Idk might get crazy if he gets to far. I wonder how Bael would react :0 )

I smiled softly I could hear it in her voice she was getting tired. I wouldn't kep her away any longer, he comment about Jake made me snort a laugh. "I see him doing that but I don't care." I humed softly shifting in bed again, looking at her seeing her sleepy smile. "Of course, Love, one day. For now sleep soundly." I spoke soflty shifting her to fit more comfortably against my chest. Her warm body felt nice. It wasn't long after until I was asleep.

(Time-skip? Next morning or until she has her little surprise. And that way it would further his hunger >:P )

But yeah, let's timeskip. Her surprise is gonna be huge, and if he's super hungry it can go reallllyyy poorly, which is good for dramatics. What do you wanna do? ))

Oh no I don't want it to go poorly. We can have her not do it tomorrow but the following. So we can skip a day. It won't be bad right then. It's take more then two days for it to really do anything. So we can do that!)

I had spent nearly all of my time while he was on patrol piecing together and tying up the last loose ends of my surprise, trying to make sure everything was in order and ready to go. Carefully, I had slipped out of bed and tied a simple red ribbon to the door knob with a small folded note. It was cheesy, of course, but it was what I wanted to do for him.
On the note was carefully written "follow the ribbon" complete with a pair of hearts. He would find that it lead out of the room and to the stairs, looped around the railing with a bunch of balloons before leading off to somewhere downstairs. The note by the balloons said "you make my heart float and sometimes I'm scared it might pop :3." Each balloon had a small rolled up paper inside, with a compliment and something she loved most about him, and the string continued to the kitchen.

The dawn light hit my eyes making groan. Sighing as it was another day, shifting as I glance around the room about to get up when I noticed the ribbon on the door handle. Cocking my head to the side. I wondered why there was ribbon on my door. Pushing the blankets off my now as I move over to the door. Reading the note made me chuckle, taking the note and the ribbon off. I thought the guy was supposed to do things like this. I clearly need to step up my game. Opening the door I notice a the trail of ribbon outside my room and down the railing. Following it shaking my head I couldn't believe this. Looked at the balloons as I went down stopping part way noticing the notes. After reading each one I was shocked and blushing. I didnt even know I could do that anymore. What did I do to deserve my this, it was so sweet. Looking around I see the ribbon continues to the kitchen, holding it as I followed itnunsure of what I might see, "Love?" I call out softly.

The ribbon lead to the kitchen, looped through the door handle for the fridge with sticky notes covering the door. Each one had a couple of words from a short poem she has written for him. "I will love you as long as the sun burns in the sky, as long as the moon shines its light, and until blue oceans run dry. I will love you until the end of time <3" And the little red ribbon continues to the living room, where there are a couple dozen or so neatly folded origami stars with little notes written on the back of them. Notes like "you are my happy place" and "the stars can't shine as bright as you, love."
And finally, the ribbon leads outside
