Flick watched hesitantly as Alphaess seemed to oblige and took Mordecai's hand, giving it a shake. For just the briefest of moments, Flick felt a little stung or hurt. She'd seemed to give consent easy enough to shake Mordecai's hand when they were complete strangers and yet, upon Alphaess's and Flick's first parting, the Heroine had refrained from shaking his hand. Sure, she had gotten distracted, but it still did not help matters that Alphaess had agreed so readily. Regardless, the bounty hunter did give a good argument and Flick had to give him points for that. Flick distractedly exchanged his weight from his right leg to his left, and then back again. He glanced over at Blaire as she made her comment, and he couldn't help but smile briefly at the 'wizard-y' merchant. Ah, that was probably the best comment that he had gotten as of late. Sure, the bandit was still, well, a bandit but Flick got the feeling that she had a sarcastic humor similar to his. Flick appreciated it. But he was certain that Alphaess wouldn't after a certain point in time.

Flick caught Alphaess's quick glare at him and he only managed a slight smile, as though to brush aside the issue that he'd pretty much directly obeyed her 'orders' and gotten busted for it. This, of course, was only the latest of many of Flick's antics and Flick was sure that Alphaess was starting to expect it by now. Regardless of the fact that Flick was no 'rebel' he had been spoiled by years of disobeying the law in Bowerstone and he had almost come to believe as though rules scarcely applied to him. Stealing, trespassing, impersonating guards (that had been a while ago--but a memorable memory, of course), Flick had really done it all. In his opinion, Alphaess should have expected that he'd tried to follow her. Tried...had it not been for Mordecai and his little 'net' trick. Flick watched as Alphaess seized Blaire's wrists and bound them, with the bandit giving a whiny complaint as Alphaess did so, clearly trying to protest Alphaess's harsh way of trying to contain the bandit.

All the while, Mordecai had simply been watching with a smug expression upon his face at seeing Blaire tied up. He did not answer to Alphaess's declaration right away and instead narrowed his eyes slightly at Blaire: "Poor mouse. Caught up in a trap?" And then he added, with a soft snicker: "Tried to get the cheese too early, ah? Well, as the saying goes. The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. Follow me." And Mordecai rested his hand upon the top of 'Sanglamore' and turned about so that his back was facing the trio. Mordecai seemed to pause and briefly think over something as though he was contemplating saying it but, apparently, the man thought against it and continued forth into the thick of the wood, leaving the other three no other choice but to follow.

Prior to going after Mordecai, Flick cast a quick glance in Alphaess's direction with a look that was clearly: 'Are you sure...?' In all honesty, Flick had scarcely ever had interaction with sellswords, assassins or any sorts of bounty hunters in the past. Yet he knew one thing for sure: they were not to be trusted. These men could be considered good, but bounty hunters often teetered on the bridge of good and evil and it was unclear whether they were either. They merely did what they did for money, and that was it. Often, bounty hunters would do any sort of deed if they were to make a coin out of it. Bounties not only applied to thieves and law-breakers after all. Occasionally, there could be some sort of bandit bounty on a certain other person (usually someone with relations to Bowerstone's mayor) and bounty hunters would take up that. However, Flick just hoped this 'Mordecai' (or Quickbeam, as he'd initially referred to him as) was teetering on the edge of good, and that his employer was some sort of Bowerstone representative. But, as they way Mordecai had put it, this 'employer' of his seemed rather secretive...withdrawn. Great...and how exactly could they know if Mordecai and Blaire were working together as some sort of...scheme to get back for Sabre's death? Flick must be getting ahead of himself with all these strange...conspiracy thoughts.

Even if Flick was no bounty hunter, he could imagine what he'd do if he was. If his main goal was to get a quick coin, perhaps he'd somehow trick his target into thinking he was on their side. Make friends, get the most coin he could, and then take them unknowingly right to their captor. Was that...weird for Flick to think? In a way, being a bounty hunter was not all that different from a conman. Both occupations could be incredibly dishonest, and that was partially what Flick specialized in. Dishonesty. But he put aside the thoughts, turned back to Mordecai, and followed after the bounty hunter.

Upon the bounty hunter's comment, the bandit gave an angry glare towards him, cursing silently under her breath. She had started from the weak bandits she had been given, Sabre's bad way of lead, all the damn animals Mordecai always mentioned, the Guild and all its heroes and a few other things, making out quite interesting curses, slightly hearable with the silent voice. When the bounty hunter started walking, Alphaess shoved the bandit forwards. "Move." She ordered with a cold and demanding voice. "Alright, alright. Seesh, I'm not a damn dog or mice!" The bandit complained in response fallowing after the bounty hunter quickly as the Heroine pushed her hardly from the shoulder, shooting a glare towards the bounty hunter once again. If she didn't have that much pride, sure she would look hurt after being called a mouse.

Turning her head briefly towards Flick to give him a final look to fallow, Alphaess had caught the look he had casted. She simply returned it with shrugh of her shoulders, simply not knowing an exact question. Why not? Alphaess was aware of the fact this all might be a bigger trick, or the bounty hunter might find a way to loose them from his tail, but it was a risk she though was worth it all. The Heroine touched her neck from the back, uncomfortably. Than, she noticed one thing. Her hand was unable to feel the cold wooden bow attached on her back. Damn it! She had forgotten it back at the tree house? How long she had been lacking it? Goodness. She had to take that back immediately.

Luckily, after a few moments of fallowing the bounty hunter, something familiar had caught the Heroine's eye; a rope hanging down. Look at that luck. "Hey, wait, I have to get something." Alphaess said in a voice, semi ordering. Than she moved towards the rope, but not before reaching to pull Flick from the back of his neck that she seized. "You'll be coming too. You might need... something later." Alphaess snapped, glaring directly at his eyes. Great, Alphaess just required five minutes alone with him. Just five minutes. Pulling him towards the rope, she paused the moment she had the rope in hand. "Don't try to move from here, because if you do so, the deal will be off and I'll take my bandit back." Alphaess growled slightly. Than, she kinda realised she didn't required to climb it up, she let go back of the rope and used her own technique to get on board her platform.

Blaire seem to be quite interested in what the Heroine had done, but clearly not that interested in being alone with the bounty hunter. Alphaess had quickly rushed inside to grab her bow and quiver inside, only locating them in her room, in the usual place. The house was empty otherwise, just someone had been here. The thought of having dirty bandits running around her lair was enough to drive her mad. When she had equipped her bow, she started to wait for Flick. She had owed him a short lesson before she could leave.

Flick tilted his head to slightly look out into the woods but he saw nothing else. No more bandits. No Hobbes...everything was clear. Flick averted his attention and merely followed after Alphaess, seeing as he had no choice. Flick did not particularly enjoy being called a puppy (due to the fact that he knew outright he'd been acting like that lately) but in this situation, he wasn't given any other option and Flick merely had to follow after as she trudged on ahead and followed after the bounty hunter. He tagged along at the back, very aware of the sort of rubbing feeling he'd received from Mordecai dragging him on his back through the woods. Could there not have been a more professional way to carry Flick about instead of dragging him in such a blunt and humiliating way? At the very least, it was over now and Flick was on his feet again. For now. It seemed as though Flick always had a way of ending up embarrassing himself and with what looked to be yet another adventure ahead, Flick was sure there would be plenty of time for that.

Finally it seemed as though they had drawn by the house, and Flick felt a sense of relief sink into him. His coat--the rune! Ever since the inn he had not touched it nor felt it nor even been near it, and it was starting to drive the poor conman mad. It seemed as though Alphaess was missing something as well and, for which, Flick was quite glad for it would give him a reason to take his coat. If Alphaess asked, he would simply give the excuse of it being 'cold'. The woods were quite cold--so that was a valid excuse. Just as Flick was about to wait for Alphaess to spring up, she'd suddenly seized the back of his neck. Flick managed a yelp of: "Wh-hey!" Before he was promptly dragged towards the rope. Flick caught Mordecai staring at him with the bounty hunter's arms folded across his chest. A smug expression was set upon the man's face, and Flick set his jaw uncomfortably.

"Wouldn't think about it." Mordecai responded in the same smug tone, watching rather curiously as Alphaess released the rope and sprang up onto the platform. His expression changed to that of extremely amused upon seeing Flick grab onto the rope instead of jumping up after. Upon getting about halfway up, Flick glanced over at Mordecai and stuck out his tongue which was probably a pretty pathetic way of making a comeback. Regardless, Flick ignored whatever Mordecai's reaction might be to this and made it up to the platform. Record timing, really. Flick had gotten quite good at 'navigating' the rope. Whether it was due to an increase in core strength or actually just improving in coordination, Flick was no longer breathless whenever he reached the top and he immediately got to his feet and went into the house after Alphaess.

Upon entering the house, Flick went for his coat and bent down to remove it from where it was folded up against the corner of the wall where he usually slept. He stole a quick glance back at where Alphaess had gone and then slipped his hand into the nearest pocket, feeling over the polished stone of the rune to assure it was still there. When he had been satisfied, Flick guaranteed that the rune was pushed pretty far back to avoid it falling out, and then he tossed the coat over his left shoulder to face the Heroine. He had a feeling that she might chide him out for his disobedience, so Flick immediately tried to avert the conversation by saying: "Lookit that, Red. Force push. I'll be a 'wizard' yet." He grinned and gave a weak laugh. "Maybe I'll out-magic you one of these days." Flick grinned at that and adjusted his hold on the coat.

Alphaess didn't replied with a word, instead crossed her arms and snorted silently, giving him an angry glare. Too bad she didn't even had enough time for this. "Think you can really get away that easily?" She growled in boredom. The Heroine took a step forwards, trying to force Flick to take a step backwards. "What were you thinking ignoring my orders?!" She snapped, pushing him slightly from his shoulder. Her voice was kept low, to avoid other two from hearing them. Than her hand grabbed him from the collar, pulling him down slightly to have him at her eye line. "You could gotten yourself killed!" She snarled once more, tightening her grip on his collar and pushing him back against a wall. Her golden eyes were locked on the poor man's face, giving him an angry glare. It was quite obvious Alphaess was barely a stopping herself from doing something with undesirable outcome. "Do you even have any idea how dangerous these woods may be without me to keep you alive?" She questioned at last, not quite interested in hearing an answer. After all, he did managed to stay alive this time, right?

Than backed away a little while after, letting go of his collar with a silent: "I don't have time for this." Alphaess this time grabbed a few more throwing places to replace the ones she had used, sliding them into their empty places quickly. Grabbing one last piece of her equipment; the bone horn, she headed outside. "Maybe I really should leave you here." She murmured loud enough for him to hear when she paused before going outside. Maybe I'll out-magic you one of these days. Hah, keep on dreaming. Alphaess was quite sure that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Well, he did knew some tricks, but he still didn't even knew the half of the spells she know how to cast.

The Heroine walked up to the edge of the platform, with a quick leap, landed back down in front of the two that was waiting for them. Having her usual cold face, Alphaess dusted herself off silently. "Shall we?" she asked to the bounty hunter, waiting for him to lead once again. Well, good thing they haven't tried to leave without them. That was one thing. Blaire was quite eager to move, either because of the tight rope that bound her hands or simply because she was bored of being at the same place with the bounty hunter. Who knows what happened between those two. Alphaess was pretty sure she didn't wanted to know. All she wanted to get rid of this bandit and return home with pleasant amount of money. And preferably with Flick still alive.

It wasn't a huge surprise for Flick when Alphaess quite suddenly seized the collar of his shirt and dragged him down again, so he didn't move to get away or anything. It was very uncomfortable and Flick winced, but refrained from making any sort of comment like: 'Worried about me?' For he knew that would obviously just make the Heroine more agitated. When she released him, Flick merely smirked and rubbed the side of his neck where his shirt had rubbed slightly. He made no response to her comment, though inwardly was thinking of several very clever responses. Flick grasped his coat once more, cast a last look about the place, and then headed out after Alphaess. With two new...strange companions, there seemed to be plenty in store for the now foursome. Flick briefly wondered whether any sort of money reward would be worth such a trip, and yet he knew himself that people would go to great lengths for money. Flick included...So, without another word, Flick headed for the rope and came down after Alphaess, with an audible 'oomph!' As he hit the ground. Mordecai was awaiting them with his arms folded across his chest and, to Alphaess's inquiry, he nodded and turned about to lead the way.

While Flick was more or less used to moving about, he was not completely used to traveling such lengths at a time and he had a tendency to get more tired, when it seemed as though travel had hardly made a dent on Mordecai. If it had, the bounty hunter did not show it. It had been, what, perhaps two days or more? With Gibbet Woods nearing and both Bowerstone and the Guild behind, Flick had no idea what exactly to expect. In all actuality, he should be more tired and yet it felt as though the rune humming so close to himself gave him more energy. But, yet, the rune did not help with the need for food and water, and it was clear enough that there was no game in these woods nor any fresh water that wasn't...creepily dark. Therefore, another idea had been brought up.

This inn was less of an inn and more of a tavern. A tavern, which was near solely meant for drinking and slightly lager than the inn before. Flick was hesitant to go, not for Alphaess's sake, but for his own. If she'd broken a guy's leg while drunk, what might happen if Flick screwed up, too? But Mordecai seemed insistent that it might be a good opportunity for a break and some 'refreshments'. The tavern itself was nearly double that of the inn before and, from the loud noises inside, Flick could assume it was quite populated. It looked newer...fresher. Flick would have been extremely intrigued, had the other three not been with him. Here, one could find a few of many things. Drink, food...and women.

"Lay low," Flick briefly overheard Mordecai say to Blaire in a firm voice. "There could be some guard or official hanging about." While it sounded as though he was genuinely concerned, Flick knew better. Mordecai was just concerned with the Bowerstone guard stealing their captive and not getting a good pay out of it. Without taking much heed of whatever Blaire might say next, Mordecai drew his hood up and over his head and then gestured for the trio to follow after. Flick really had nothing to cover himself with and he saw no reason to (considering he was neither a Hero, a bandit, nor a bounty hunter) and he merely just assured his 'precious cargo' was still with him. As Mordecai came up to the front door, Flick took notice of two woman leaning boredly against the opposite wall of the tavern. Aloud, Mordecai mused: "Tavern woman. Don't get distracted."

Being a Hero, mostly meant travelling by Guild Seals. But if three other 'companions' present and that were not heroes nor had their own Seals, it wasn't quite possible. So, back to old styled walking thing. Alphaess wouldn't complain. She was pretty much used to walking after prey of sorts for a few days. This wasn't quite different than hunting. Just that she had to drag along a complaining bandit and fallow a bounty hunter. It was quite strange, thinking that Alphaess rarely made deals with bounty hunters. They were not quite the ones to believe in. But this reward... it was too tempting to ignore.

"What? I know how to hide in a tavern better than some bounty hunter. " The bandit had snapped at the bounty hunter upon his warning. Afterwards, the bandit had reached up to her hat with her hands still bound to each other, and slightly pulled it down to cover her face. With her hands tied tightly, it was pretty much all she could do too. Alphaess had also drawn her black hood over her red hair, glaring at the bandit, silently saying shut up. Well, the bandit probably wouldn't prefer being captured by a guard, because that would more likely mean a good stay in jail, or even better, Headman's Hill to meet the executioner.. Actually, Alphaess didn't really cared about what would happen to the bandit after they delivered her to the wherever this bounty hunter's 'contact' was.

Fallowing closely after the bounty hunter, while slightly pushing the bandit whenever she was uneager to move, Alphaess had also came to the front door. Tavern woman... Why she somehow had this feeling that she had been... compared to some earlier? Strange. She really couldn't recalled the memory, but she had this feeling that it had happened. Pushing the bandit in, Alphaess gave Flick a short glance while passing by the two women. "Better keep your eyes peeled, I'm sure these ladies are nothing like me." Alphaess murmured in a low voice, with a slight grin appearing on her lips. These women were sure not quite like the Heroine, but better or worse, it mostly depended on someone's taste. If you liked the kind that could break your leg for a wrong move, Alphaess was still a quite interesting choice.

Once they entered the building, uncomfortably Alphaess pulled her hood even more. The place was quite... crowded. And even Alphaess wasn't quite sure if she wanted any food here. And there wasn't a chance that Alphaess could do any move to draw guards around. She had to play nicely around to keep the cover. Oh, she really wasn't going to like this. She took a look around. There was pretty much a large amount of women around. Tavern women. Ugh. How nice... Exactly the type of women Alphaess didn't enjoyed to see around.

"Nothing like you?" Flick repeated, raising his eyebrow with a grin. "No, I suppose they aren't. These woman actually have a sense of charisma and chivalry. Not only that, but these woman won't try to strangle me for touching them. And a last thing--" Flick crossed his arms across his chest just as they entered the room, and a sly smirk was upon his face. "Unlike you, these women find me entirely charming. Just you watch." The inside of the inn was quite occupied, he noticed, but not with the same crowd like they'd seen at the first inn. These people actually seemed human, unlike the burly and disgusting men back at the previous inn. Flick cautiously removed his coat and slung it over his shoulder life before, seeing as the place was quite warm. Mordecai, however, had refrained from doing the same. He kept his hood on and merely brushed aside a stray lock of his dark hair, sweeping it away from his eyes and looking back to gesture briefly at the other three, clearly a 'follow me'. The counter by the tavern keeper was completely empty aside from a single stool at the far end, where a lone woman sat.

Mordecai had gone to sit opposite to the woman, leaving a few chairs in between her and him. Flick merely shot another grin at Alphaess, and made his way over to sit a stool away from Mordecai. Ah, Flick had been in many taverns before. Many memories. Many different women. Flick brushed his hand over the top of the counter lazily, pinching two fingers together in a nonchalant manner. He figured that this tavern was neater than the previous one, but the last inn had set a pretty low standard. This place still needed a good clean...but it was pretty damn popular nonetheless.

Now that he had the time to look about the place, Flick noticed several stray drinkers hanging about the corners of the inn. The woman to the far right on the stool was fairly young (obviously about Flick's age, however, otherwise she wouldn't be able to drink here) with a pale face and long, thick blonde curls. Her eyes looked to be a crisp blue and she was staring into her empty mug that she gripped with her right hand. Her elbow was propped against the table and she looked rather bored, occasionally shifting the remaining liquid about in her mug with ease. No one was around her. She actually looked to be quite lonely. If Flick claimed to know anything about women, he knew that lonely women, desperate women and women on the rebound were always easy game. Flick leaned back slightly in his stool and glanced over at Alphaess.

"You know, Red..." Flick decided suddenly, jerking his chin in the direction of the lonely looking girl. "If you're so certain that I have no charm, why don't I show you? It's not like we've gotten much opportunity up until this point, anyway." As he spoke, he noted that Mordecai seemed to be saying something to the keeper of the tavern. Whatever he was saying must've been interesting, for the keeper grinned big and laughed, then turned about seemingly to fetch something. Flick continued to speak: "I bet you I can get that woman to fall in love with me with just a pick-up line or two. Whaddya say, Red? Up for a bet? We can decide on rewards and punishments after."

Alphaess had been fallowing the bounty hunter, mostly ignoring Flick's comment with a silent eye roll and sigh, along with her grin remaining on her face. Alphaess had pushed the bandit to the place where the bounty hunter had been sitting, forcing her to take a seat nearby him, while she took the chair right next to her, closer to Flick's side. Her attention was drawn to Flick upon his words. Surprised by a bit, she murmured a silent "hmm?" And tilted her head slightly. "Ah, you're really serious about this?" Alphaess raised her burrow in a questioning way, looking at his face curiously. She never actually spoken about the subject but... It seemed interesting. Especially since she could never say no to an interesting bet.

"Alright, if you're so sure, I'm always up for a bet." Alphaess grinned, turning directly towards Flick, leaving the bandit on her back. Than, she offered her hand in a handshake. "Get that girl to like you, I'll do anything you'll like. Fail, and I'll get to choose your punishment." A wolfish grin spread on her face, turning her eyes on the woman to inspect her for a second. Okay, she was quite an interesting woman, a pretty looking one. Though Alphaess couldn't really think Flick could manage this task. It just felt impossible. Since we are talking about Flick here.

"Try not to break her heart. We wouldn't like much fuss, right?" So sure of her victory, Alphaess grinned, resting her hands on the counter. Than her eyes went back on the bandit and the bounty hunter at her other side. The bandit was keeping her hands below the counter, struggling to get free from the rope in a bored and angered way. After a while the bandit gave up with a loud sigh, pressing her forehead to the counter in an extremely annoyed way. It was pretty easy to guess the bandit would prefer being anywhere else to being here right now.

Alphaess returned her eyes back on Flick, leaving the bounty hunter and the bandit alone for the moment. There wasn't much to do around. So, this 'bet' seemed to be the only way of entertainment she had at the moment. And yet, Alphaess was so sure it would come out as she predicted. Charming... Huh, yeah, he could believe whatever he wanted to believe in. There was no way she was going to ruin this. If he wanted to make fun of himself, she was going to allow it, lean back and enjoy every second of it. Curiously, she started watching, rather impatiently for him to start.

Flick rolled his eyes, giving a small snort at Alphaess's certainty that he'd lose the bet. Lose? Flick rarely lost bets, especially due to the fact he was both an excellent actor and a natural 'womanizer' (or so he thought). He gave a slight shrug and a grin. "Will do," Flick noted that Blaire certainly seemed out of it, even going as far to press her forehead to the counter in an exasperated or annoyed way. Mordecai was merely watching Flick out of the corner of his eye and, most likely, he had overheard the conversation. As soon as Flick caught Mordecai's eye, the bounty hunter merely grinned and looked straight ahead. But Flick had seen him. What exactly made Alphaess so certain he might fail? Flick gave a small snort and waved his hand in a dismissive gesture. "You'll see, Red." Flick said in a mocking tone. How hard could this be? He'd done it before. The only difference was that Flick actually had a crowd and, needless to say, that put quite a bit of pressure on Flick. Regardless, with Flick's occupation he often had a crowd when it came to pulling something off and this was no different. He just had to be confident.

The woman was really quite pretty. It briefly made Flick wonder why she was alone because, in reality, that would be like an alarm going off telling him to back off. After all, it wasn't like Flick wanted a repeat of the whole Marceline incident. Marceline? Marlene? Ah, Flick could scarcely recall her name. It was no huge issue, however. Flick gave a last 'salute' to Alphaess and made his way over to the woman where she sat at the far end of the counter. Flick took the stool next to her, and yet the woman paid him no heed yet. Judging by the way the woman wasn't frolicking about with the other women or flirting with any guys, Flick supposed he'd have to make a different and more subtle approach to this. In his opinion, flirting with a girl was sort of like an art. You had to know your way around whether the girl was shy, outgoing, or like Alphaess. (But then again, Alphaess wasn't exactly flirting material. Flick had already quite learned that). If he had to judge, Flick would say that this woman was more on the shy end. He could work his way around that.

"Excuse me," Flick said aloud, facing forward and causing the woman's attention to turn to him. The woman glanced over at Flick with her pretty porcelain features, raising an eyebrow slightly in an inquiring manner. Flick turned to her, propping an elbow on the counter and offering a faint smile. "Do you happen to have a writing utensil of sorts?" The inquiry was quite innocent enough, and Flick got his appropriate reaction: the woman giving a small 'why'? To this, Flick grinned, for she'd perfectly set him up for the next sentence: "So I can send a letter to all my friends and tell them I met the girl of my dreams," It was cheesy and no-good, but Flick expected a woman like herself would at least giggle or blush. He got nothing of the sort. The woman merely rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to her drink, leaving Flick to feel slightly deterred. So, perhaps, this would actually be harder than Flick had suspected. He grimaced slightly and rested his chin against his hand, pondering briefly over the different options he had. "I am a Will user, you know. Do you want me to show you a magic trick...?" The woman seemed to sigh, and then turned to him boredly. Flick took the chance to lean in from his stool and put a hand to the girl's ear, whispering something that he'd intended not for Alphaess to be able to hear. As soon as he'd pulled back, he expected something along the lines of either a blush, a laugh, or something along those lines. What he instead got was a cold hard palm to his right cheek, causing Flick to recoil on his stool. "Hey!" He exclaimed in a hurt tone, reaching up to touch his cheek. He hadn't been expecting that. The woman turned about in her stool to focus on her drink again and, try as he might, Flick couldn't get her attention again. He gave a small huff and stood from his stool. Whatever. There were more woman in the inn--he could try his luck with those. Flick turned around and stalked past Alphaess, muttering: "Unrealistic standards." As he went by.

Nearing the back of the inn there was a group of woman and, a little ways apart from them, looked to be a redheaded woman peering at the door with a forlorn expression. It seemed as though she was waiting for someone, but Flick could only suppose it was another one of her friends. Flick came to stand a little ways in between them, watching for a few moments as the woman stared out to the door. There was a blank frame a little ways from him which acted like something of a mirror--one could sort of see their reflection in it. That gave him a rather bold idea. Only then did Flick clear his throat slightly and cross his arms, waiting for the woman to give him attention. She eventually did--but with almost the same indifferent expression as the woman before had given him. Flick realized briefly that maybe these tavern woman had actual standards, in comparison to the desperate and lonely woman he'd seen about Bowerstone. This would be...harder than he'd expected, but Flick didn't think it'd be impossible for him. He lazily leaned against the inn wall, offering a bright grin to the woman: "Don't look now. I think I just saw the most attractive girl in all of Albion," When the woman raised an eyebrow, Flick jerked his chin in the direction of the frame. The woman stared at it briefly (coming to the realization that it was herself) and then muttered something under her breath and turned away from Flick.

What exactly was with these woman anyway? Either they had incredibly unrealistic standards, or they'd all been cursed with some sort of 'anti-flirt'...disease...or something. Flick was about to draw the woman's attention again when he realized that the door to the tavern had swung open once again, and a man with a broad shoulders and chest had stepped inside....

Alphaess had her eyes almost locked on Flick as he moved away after the little gesture he had made. Rolling her eyes slightly, she tried not to directly stare at Flick while he did his 'job'. Oh, it was one strange job, especially thinking that Alphaess rarely entered this sort of places. She could easily hear whatever he was saying to get the woman's attention on him. Resting her arms on the counter lazily, she continued to keep an eye on Flick. Though from the first reaction he had received from the woman, she could easily say it wasn't going as well as Flick had planned. But, when Flick leaned forwards to whisper something, the Heroine was quite curious about what he might be saying. A second after, it didn't turn out quite good at all, as the woman seem to reply to whatever he said with a slap on his cheek. Alphaess could barely stop herself from bursting into laughs. With a wide grin, she watched Flick as he passed by. She could pick him saying Unrealistic standards. That caused her to chuckle silently.

Her eyes fallowed Flick as the now went towards a group of woman, picking that he was going to go for the redheaded one. Oh, she never enjoyed the word 'redheaded' since it was also used for herself too. But than again, his next attempt didn't seem to work either. Alphaess grinned in her own wolfish way, until her eyes were drawn to a man that seemed to make his way towards the place where the group of ladies where. The man was quite tall and strong-looking, maybe the kind that easily could crush Flick into two. But there was something else about the man. He seemed to keep his gaze on the red headed woman that Flick was still trying to get her interest. The way he looked, Alphaess could tell that this man was noting close to good news. Oh, great, trouble. Get out of there. Alphaess's mind screamed to Flick, but of course, the ex-conman couldn't hear it. Growling something under her breath, the Heroine stood up from her chair and looked at the bandit.

Blaire was boredly resting her head on top of the counter, waiting in an extremely bored and humiliated way. Alphaess shot a glance towards the two and murmured a short: "Stay here, I'll be back." than quickly, walked up in the direction where Flick and the red haired woman was. She made sure that her black hood was covering her face neatly. By the second she had reached the scene, the man had also approached the place. Now, the tall man was seemed to stay at the side of the red haired woman in a protective way, placing an arm on her shoulders while staring down at Flick with rather cold glare. Alphaess had approached flick from his side, pretty much like the man. Placing a rather angry face on, she turned towards Flick before letting any time for any of them say anything. "Oh, there you are! I've been looking for you so long. You've been drinking again?" Alphaess tried to make sure that her voice was going along with the facade. Than, to make the trick work, she quickly slapped Flick from the cheek that haven't been targeted by the earlier woman.

"You never listen. I'm really sorry for my husband." Alphaess had turned her gaze to the man as she had her arms crossed over her chest. She offered a fake smile to the man, before shooting Flick another supposedly angry glare. The Heroine took a look around, as she wanted to check if anyone was lsitening, than she slightly leaned forward as she was ashamred to say whatever she was about to say. "He's been drinking secretly again. But I'll make sure he wouldn't do it again." Her attention returned on Flick as she reached to her collar before leaving any second for the other happy couple to say anything. The man had crossed his arms and merely was able to give a slight huff and a glare shot down at Flick as Alphaess had started to drag him back towards the place the bounty hunter and the bandit were waiting, mostly by holding his collar while walking back.

Upon reaching, Alphaess let go of his collar, the sly expression remaining on her face. "You did a great job, getting 'affection' from two different women in one night." She chuckled in a low tune, directly meaning the slaps he had received. She had also seemed to grab his coat while dragging him. Her eyes went down on the coat, spotting something... strange. There was a faint tint of red light coming off from the... pocket? Ah, that was strange. And Alphaess had been staring at it silently for one or two seconds. After a few seconds had passed, Alphaess questioned curiously: "What's that?" She questioned, tilting her head slightly to the side. Meanwhile, Blaire had gotten her head back up and was watching the two of them with a rather amused look on her face, finally thinking that she had found something interesting to watch. Ignoring the look on the bandit's face, Alphaess continued to inspect the strange light, finding herself looking at it blankly... strange.
