Flick rubbed his head with his right hand, giving something of a weak smile at Alphaess's words. Yet at 'suit up' the smile faded almost instantaneously. Oh, great. He had to put on the Will clothes again? For Flick, that was going to be humiliating...yet again. Ah, well. Flick had been humiliated enough as it was for the last few days. Wearing the blue and white clothes wouldn't be...too bad. Maybe, today, it wouldn't be so embarrassing. After all, this was only...training clothes, right? Flick did not exactly like the idea of that being his day-to-day outfit. Alphaess, Silvermoon and Quiver all had the interesting 'armour' sorts of outfits. Why couldn't Flick have the same? Yet, he obliged, and took the upper part of the clothes to pull over himself. It was easy enough considering the size of the clothing--which was a little large for him, but probably moreso for Alphaess. This, probably, was due to the fact it was meant for a presumably larger and more muscular man.

It didn't take long until Flick had fully put on the 'uniform' of sorts. Ah, great. Now he recalled why he'd been so reluctant to put it on in the first place. To Alphaess's words, Flick could merely give a small nod as he looked down at the clothing, merely ignoring her words about the 'traps'. He wasn't an idiot. Traps were for animals, after all, and Flick wasn't an animal. He would be able to see them easy enough. But the outfit...It was so...bright. Flick could not help but make a face at how weird it seemed to be on him. Ah, well. Flick had been embarrassed worse before. Taking heed of the Heroine's words, Flick looked once more at his pile of clothing and then proceeded to head back in the direction that they'd first come when entering the house. Ah, how exactly was he supposed to get down from here? Flick had a feeling that if he jumped, he might break his legs. The rope would...probably have to do for now. Flick knelt down on the platform and reached out to take it in his hands (he'd refrained from using the gloves. They were...well, they were a step too far. Besides, if they were doing more 'lightning' or flammable things there was a good chance the gloves would catch.)

Flick gripped the rope tightly in his hands and, with a huff, swung his legs over the platform. All there was to do now was...drop. And that was what Flick did--his grip almost loosening completely on the rope. But he managed to grab on and, now, Flick was clinging on to the rope for dear life while he hung over the forest floor. From there, Flick just had to slide down. Well, okay. It kind of hurt his hands, but that was something Flick could get around. As soon as his feet hit the forest floor he removed his hands from the rope and cupped them to his mouth, blowing on them in an attempt to 'cool' them down, which was similar to something he'd done after the lightning accident back at the Guild.

As soon as Flick lowered his hands from his face, he realized instantaneously: he was alone on the forest floor. It was, granted, a little creepy down here...Flick couldn't shake the unsettling feeling from last night. But, of course, he'd been tired. It could've easily just been a dream, so Flick was assuming it had been. A little impatiently, Flick stepped away from the tree to investigate the edge of the woods...what had Alphaess said again? Something about...not touching anything? Ah, well. It was the woods. What would happen to him, anyway? The scariest thing here was the Balverine, and Flick had no idea where that thing was. Boredly, Flick approached a tree opposite to him and leaned against it, crossing his arms over his chest. He was definitely not an outdoors-y person. Too many...smells. Sounds. It was weird. Flick's attention was suddenly caught by something on the ground...it seemed to have a rather shiny tint to it. Disinterestedly, Flick stepped over to kneel by it.

Of course, that was all it took for things to go wrong. Where Flick stepped, he hadn't noticed the rope covered by leaves. Upon him stepping down it was as though some 'pressure' had been triggered, and the rope tightened around his ankle. Flick only had time for a "What the--" before the rope snapped upwards and practically pulled Flick off his feet before he had a chance to react. A trap. He'd only managed a yelp before he realized he'd been pulled off his feet and was now upside-down, hovering a few feet above the ground with his ankle roped to the branch above him. The branch bobbed under his weight yet, somehow, managed to stay. Flick let out a yelp but, unfortunately, he was stuck. How humiliating...and really, it had been just after Alphaess had lectured him on how to not get stuck. Flick's fingers couldn't even touch the ground from here...perhaps he could reach the nearby tree? Flick glanced over to the trunk and, with a huff, tried to reach out. There--his fingers just scraped it. Flick tried again and, this time, he managed to grab on and pull himself close to the tree. Now, he was hugging the tree and completely-upside down...oh, this was lovely. Unfortunately he couldn't do anything from here, and he would have to wait until Alphaess came back to cut him down...

It should have been around five minutes or so before the heroine was finally able to find the lonely Guild Seal of hers under her bed. How that thing went there, she had no clue. Maybe because that she have literally tossed it away before sleeping. It explains all the scars and bumps on the thing. Maybe it wasn't the greatest idea that the Guildmaster had to give Alphaess such an important magical object... But it was too late. Even though it was a miracle that the seal was still working, Alphaess did not even thought about giving that thing back. When search was complete, Alphaess carelessly hung it back on the right side of her black belt and exited her room. She looked around for a second, Flick was out already. She hoped he still haven't gotten eaten by a forest creature or something like that. These parts of the Greatwood was slightly more dangerous, but probably the most dangerous thing at these parts would be a few stray Hobbes, like the ones that now lied dead underneath her tree. She could admit, these guests were quite entertaining, and what else could possibly make a better archery target than a pair of energetic little Hobbes. That was an enjoyable challenge for Alphaess but yet, both were dead with a single arrow to each, with the help of the huntress heroine's accuracy.

The heroine now headed outside to the wooden platform, there was little light of the sun as it had barely started to rise, but Alphaess had a perfect sight in the low light. She preferred the dark over light, that is a too bright light could even hurt her sensitive eyes. As something she have done everyday (or as long as she stayed here in her own house) Alphaess firstly looked down form the platform, in case of possible dangers she could have run into. Than, she sat down on the edge of the platform to reach the rope (she wasn't just feeling like jumping off, which would do her absolutely no harm with the Will ability she had. Hence, Alphaess had no fear of heights or falling down) Holding the rope with one hand, Alphaess let herself down. With holding the rope in one hand, Alphaess easily and quickly slid all the way down and landed softly on her feet. Wearing thick leather gauntlets was more than just having a bad sense of fashion, it was a nice way to avoid burning someones with a rope too.

After she had let go of the rope, Alphaess dusted herself off and neatened her shawl. She should probably get that rope back up when she would return, but who could possibly dare to rob her treehouse in the middle of nowhere exactly. Ah the soft wind and the unique smell of the forest... Alphaess always enjoyed this scent. It was a mixture of leaves, grass, flowers of all kinds and various interesting scents. Letting it in with a deep breath, Alphaess had a slight smile on her face. Wait, she wasn't here to actually smell the flowers, was she? Where was Flick? Alphaess run her gaze on the ground, but that idiot was nowhere to be found Alphaess slightly gritted her teeth, many possibilities crossing her mind now; and probably the best scenario she had was that he had been eaten by an animal. He couldn't have run off could he? Stupid Alphaess, why did you even shared where your residence with a complete stranger? What where you thinking anyway? Now, Alphaess was mentally blaming herself for revealing the location of her only sanctuary herself. This was probably the most unwise thing she have done.

But it seems luck was with Alphaess this time. After her five-second panic, the location of Flick was revealed and Alphaess felt rather relieved with this discovery. It seems the man wasn't a traitor; maybe a tree-hugger but not a spy. There he was, caught up in one of Alphaess's traps and hanging upside down from a tree. Alphaess have walked a towards where he was 'hanging' and looked up at him with a rather angry but somewhat surprised glare; this should be a new record for him getting in trouble so quick. It had been hardly five minutes since she have nicely spoke about the traps. Nicely... Did he had any idea how rare it was Alphaess to speak nicely and without stabbing someone from the side? "W-what the heck were you thinking when you got yourself there!?" Alphaess growled, showing her teeth when she spoke, trying to look at his face, if she could just keep her eyes on his face while he... was pretty above her.

"How did you even managed to get yourself there?" Alphaess said with a sigh, her anger fading away slightly this time. Her eyes went down to the ropes that held him up there. There was no doubt it was a trap she have set, and it did work perfectly. Good to know... at least, she had a test, which was rather... good? The rope was tightly holding him from the ankles, this means he wouldn't be falling off soon. These traps were made by Alphaess, and they were nothing like these stupid hunters that claimed to be able to kill creatures without weapons. Alphaess's gaze went back on Flick waiting for an answer before she would let him down... Oh brother... This man was going to be a pain in the neck for sure. Maybe it wasn't too late to call the deal off and send him back to whatever he was doing out there. Maybe...

"Uh..." Flick's grip tightened on the tree slightly, his fingers digging into the bark to keep himself from letting go. "You know, I don't think I was really thinking at all. That's kinda why I'm up here." Okay, so it was a little embarrassing. Flick had no idea how to get down from here and it was quite uncomfortable for him having been thrown upside down so abruptly. He was pretty sure that his hair was sticking up a little weirdly and his ankle was hurting from the tightly bound rope. The shawl that had been pinned to his shoulder had come loose from Flick being pulled so fiercely off of his feet and was now fluttering down towards the ground loosely. He wondered if the branch would hold...after all, it was probably meant for a Hobbe and not a scrawny conman. Flick was actually amazed it had held up so long already.

To Alphaess's next words, Flick scowled and pressed his cheek to the wood. "Well, I saw something and...next I know, I'm up here. You know...just hanging around. Mind cutting me down? I'm starting to lose feeling in my feet." Yet, just then, Flick's fingers slipped from where he had been gripping the trunk and he lost his grip on the tree. Now, he was just plain dangling without being able to grip onto anything. Flick gave an incoherent grumble and crossed his arms across his chest. "Oh, get a good look. It'll last longer in your memory." He glanced upwards at the rope that bound him as best he could manage, but he was stuck fast. Perhaps he could try and reach up to untie his ankle...

Flick glanced down back at Alphaess with a sly expression. "Watch and learn." Maybe if he managed to free himself she might see that he wasn't as clumsy and incapable as he seemed. Flick didn't really have a ton of core strength but perhaps he could manage to grab onto the lower end of the rope. He let his arms fall down and, with an attempted burst of energy he swung them up in and grabbed the rope. Now, he was clutching onto the rope with both hands, yet was still dangling. What now? Flick looked down really quick to Alphaess (considering that he wasn't upside down anymore) and offered a slight 'I got this' smile. Well, he didn't know what to do, but she didn't need to know that.

"Uh, do you have like...a knife or something?" Flick had just started to say when, unexpectedly, there was a sharp crr-k-krak! of a branch...splitting in half. Flick's hands tightened on the rope just as the branch was starting to break. Then, unexpectedly, it cracked altogether and Flick shut his eyes tight, half expecting to fall right to the ground from there. But the branch only broke part way, and Flick was jerked downwards. Now, he was just a little ways from the ground but still suspended a little ways above the forest floor. In the small jerk it had caused Flick to lose his grip and now his fingers were just brushing over the forest floor. Flick winced, yet...he was still trapped, but just a little lower to the ground now. The branch was part way broken...Damn. "Okay. Okay. Maybe I'm stuck. 'Lil help?"

Now, lost his grip from the tree, Flick was simply upside down a little in front and above Alphaess. With the crossed arms on his chest and most of his clothing also upside down and hanging like that, he was looking as silly as back at Dark wood with his feet sucked into the swamp. "Oh, I dont think this will get out of my memories for a long time..." Alphaess replied, continuing to glance up to him. She placed on hand on the sheath of her sword and used the free one to push back her hair to have a better look at all this... hanging.

Alphaess tilted her head a little to the side, kinda confused that what he might be trying to accomplish. He would surely get tangled up even more... So why not watch him as he humiliates himself further? Alphaess wasn't quite in the mood to get him down either, though it would just cost her one blade thrown at the rope. Her eyes narrowed by a little as she tried to understand his plan, if he had one. Alphaess frowned a little, all these moving around would surely make the branch crak with him hanging down. These traps weren't made for humans, they were more likely for animals or prey of any kind.

"Wait! Don't move you're going to br-" Alphaess tried to warn, but it was too late already. The branch shattered and got broken with a loud noise. "...break the branch..." Alphaess finished her interrupted sentence as Flick was hovering above the ground with his hands merely touching the ground. Alphaess growled a little I under her breath and face palmed herself with shame. "Yeah... I can see." Alphaess took a step towards him and lowered her head a little to have a better eye contact. "Great plan you know." She continued in a sarcastic way, showing she wasn't even impressed the slightest.

Than with a loud sigh, the heroine took her syep back, grabing her sword's hilt and pulled it out of the sheath. With a swift blow, the blade the rope close to Flick's feet, finally setting him free from the trap and allowing him to fall down completely. Well, what a waste of a nice trap it was. Quickly after, her sword was sheathed back without the heroine saying a single word.

Flick couldn't help but feel a flush of embarrassment wash over him. So, being stuck upside down by a rope around his ankle attached to a tree branch was not his most charming moment. His hair was sticking up (due to gravity, of course) and he probably looked pretty silly trying to come off as serious when he was, quite literally, hanging around. Flick knew that Alphaess was not impressed in the slightest. Then again, why did Flick have the need to impress her, anyway? It was...weird. Probably a guy thing, Flick assured himself. But that didn't make the situation any less embarrassing and dumb than it already was. He'd seen her practically smack her forehead with shame at his situation, lowering down to look at him. Her tone was sarcastic, causing Flick to wince. "Plans aren't really my thing. I'm more of an...improviser." He offered, though his tone sounded weak. Yet, Flick was cut off once he heard the shing! of metal on metal as Alphaess unsheathed one of her blades...Flick's heart jumped in his chest. Uh oh. At this angle he might--

He didn't even finish the thought. Flick felt her blade cut through the rope holding his foot and, quite suddenly, he was free. Well...not in the way he'd hoped. At this angle she'd dropped him almost on his face but, luckily, he'd more or less landed on his stomach. Flick let out an 'oomph!' of discomfort upon landing, allowing his head to fall forward. Flick barely responded to hearing Alphaess re-sheathe her blade but, now, on the ground, Flick was aware of how much his ankle hurt. He was probably looking pathetic enough as it was, however, so Flick did not want to complain.

"Thanks..." Flick managed weakly, not even lifting his head and causing his words to be muffled. Flick then gave a huff and pulled himself up onto his knees, running a hand through his disheveled and now a little muddy hair. He flicked aside a bit of dirt and, finally, got to his feet. He glanced up at the partially broken branch with obvious dislike and finally looked back to Alphaess with a curt nod. "So...right. That happened. All part of the act, of course. Aha...right." And the conman managed a weak laugh, which sounded a little pathetic even by his standards.

Yet, now that it was over, it must be time for training. Right...Flick wasn't the most motivated worked but he was, granted, a little curious as to what Alphaess had planned. Hopefully, it had nothing to do with trees and Hobbe snares. Or straw-filled dummies. Maybe, just maybe, Flick would actually learn how to aim at the right thing. He didn't see exactly how clothes would help this, but he wouldn't question it for now.

"Ah, what's on the agenda now?" Flick inquired curiously, with a stolen glance at the Heroine. "More of the lightning stuff? But, y'know...no 'accidental zapping', either." He still felt a little bad about that, considering it had wounded Alphaess's pride more than anything else. It would have been a lot worse had he actually hit her but, thankfully, he had not. How powerful could it really have been, anyway? Flick nonchalantly stole a glance at his right hand. How exactly had he done it before, anyway...?

As soon as Flick fell down from the trap, Alphaess had her arms crossed as usual, giving down a disapproving look. She had hope in him, but still, even at the first second of his training (not even actually training, more like on the way to training) he had started to make Alphaess if she had done the right thing. She had given him a minute or so to get up, shooting a glare up to him when he laughed. Afterwards, Alphaess sighed, placing her left hand above the sheath once again and turned her gaze to look around. At least this time, there were no witnesses for this incident.

"Pretty much, I've got some plans..." The heroine made a quick gesture with her hand in the air for him to fallow (he really had to learn the gestures if he was going to be Alphaess's apprentice) and turned to the side, leading him into the forest. The forest wasn't quite the best forest to practice things that were inflammable with the all trees that covered the land. Alphaess had a better place in mind. In the depths of the forest, lied a small lake. Luckily, not too far away from Alphaess's house either. This place was quite silent and peaceful enough to practice. But it also served as a nice place to cool off and swim for Alphaess too. And sometimes to clean; it would take a whole lot of water to make her hair get rid of all the dirt and various stains from it.

Shortly after, the two had reached a clearing; there were a lot less trees that surrounded the lake area, making it even a better choice of practice site. "Ah, there we are now." Alphaess said, slowly walking up to the edge of the clear water. The water was quite calming and looked fresh. Her gaze turned back on Flick right after shooting a quick glance to her reflection. "Now, let's see what you've got. Show me your position firstly." Alphaess have spoken with another gesture of her hand. Of course he wasn't going to start directly with all the zapping and frying. Not yet. This wasn't a test; this was more of a practice, a lesson. So, they would start with the basics, otherwise, Alphaess was worried the thing back at the Guild might happen again. They would go slow and steady; the basic position was the first step.

If this would go quicker that she would expect, he would be able to start his training on real targets; alive targets. And maybe other spells too. The ones Alphaess knew and the ones easy enough for a beginner to cast. And perhaps ones that would make good aiding Alphaess. After all, the whole point of this training was to raise herself an apprentice, or more likely a helper. A warrior or Will user to stay by her side would be quite useful at times, like back at the bandit camp. But of course, he still need a whole lot training and experience. Maybe a few more scars. And muscles. Preferably not enough to exceed Alphaess's strength (she already had a white creature that had much strength with her all the time) but a little more than a wimpy con-man would make it easier to survive."C'mon, I don't have all day you know." Alphaess added, tapping the hilt of her swords in a rather bored way.

[OOC: I'm so sick right now, my muse is working against me now (along with my rebellious brain) I don't even know when I'll get better either. I'm sorry]

Seeing as Flick had no other choice but to do so, he stood and followed. The leaves of the forest crackled beneath his feet as he made his way through the woods after the Heroine and, now and then, he'd shoot a look out to their surroundings. Dark. Murky. Boring. Creepy...Well, Flick wasn't a outdoors person and he supposed he would never be. How did some people find this place 'interesting' or 'calming' anyway? Flick couldn't see it. But, with Alphaess, he supposed he would be here for quite some time until they really got things kicked into motion. Flick had never thought much on how long this apprenticeship would last. Weeks? Months? It all came down to how Flick responded to training, of course. And, with what had just occurred, he doubted that he would really have much ability to be incredibly responsive to her training. They had soon come to a stop by a place that seemed to be a small lake. The waters were quite dark and so Flick could not see the bottom, giving him a rather bit of a start. Underwater things were rather creepy...and Flick wasn't the best swimmer, either. He hoped Alphaess had no intentions of interacting with the water. He wasn't a poor swimmer but, of course, Flick was a little bit like a cat when it came to getting wet. He simply did not like it.

Alphaess seemed to have drawn to a stop and, at once, Flick did as well. She spoke to him, and caused Flick to frown. Position? What the hell was a position? She seemed to be impatient, however, causing Flick to stall a little. He looked a little baffled, but made no attempt to do anything. "Position? Uh..." What kind of 'positions' could there be, anyway? Flick had no idea what she was talking about. Rather stumped, Flick just decided to mess with her. He took a step back in a joking martial arts type stance and held his hands together in a praying position. "Oh...yep. This definitely helps. All the power is just flowing through me. I can definitely feel it." As if to prove it, Flick straightened into a normal standing position and extended his hands out. "Definitely feeling...boredom. How is this supposed to help?" His words were clearly mocking and joking but, in all actuality, Flick was hoping for something...more. A little more exciting, perhaps. The lightning had been exciting, even with how dangerous it had been. But this? Flick was hoping they'd start off a little faster than this.

Was she trying to test him or fool with him? Flick had a hunch that this might just be what was going on. But Flick could listen--of course he could! He'd been able to do the lightning before so he wasn't a total lost cause. Perhaps if Alphaess could at least see what he was capable of, she wouldn't see him as such a lost cause. How exactly had Flick done it again? He glanced to the right, seeing a nearby stone...a stone wouldn't catch if he struck it with lightning, so perhaps it was a choice target. Flick's lip turned with the slight starts of a smile. Watch and learn. He thought absently, and this time tried for the Will power. But...like before, nothing was happening. What had it even taken to do it again? That was right: emotion. Desperation was what it had been last time, but perhaps Flick could somehow control it better this time.

But still, he wasn't feeling desperate this time. Flick realized that he felt absolutely nothing...and that frustrated him a little. Flick glanced at his right hand, slightly deterred. Come on...magic hand thing-y. He muttered inwardly. Flick clenched his hand into a fist when he realized nothing was bound to happen and, giving up, he lowered it at his side to turn to Alphaess. Perhaps he wasn't quite ready to do it on his own as of now...Yet, that was when Flick caught onto a particular scent. A burning one. How strange...there was no fire nearby, so how could something possibly be burning? Flick's hand gave an involuntary twitch at the sudden feeling of heat licking at his right forearm. There seemed to be a gray tail fluttering up at his right side...Smoke?...The burning scent was him.

Flick lifted his right hand, and just in time, too. The white sleeve of the robe had completely caught aflame, and a hungry orange light was dancing up and down the sleeve. Eating away at it...and growing closer and closer to his flesh. Flick had a brief moment of just...well, staring at it and then a mini heartattack started up in his chest. Oh. Flick thought dumbly. It appears as though I've spontaneously combusted. Well... The response was almost instantaneous after that: Flick immediately slapped at his arm in an attempt to pat out the flames but when that didn't seem to work, he went to plan B. Flick grabbed the hem of the shirt and practically ripped it off of himself and tossing it aside to the nearest place, which just so happened to be in the lake. The flame sputtered out with a hiss and the clothes floated absently on the top of the water...scalded. Ah, well. That was better than Flick burning alive, so...but he realized: another ability. Fire? He glanced back at Alphaess, panting with the excitement and fear of what had just occurred...he was now just wearing his simple ripped white shirt from before and white bottom 'Will' user pants. "Uhm...sorry about the clothes." But on the 'bright' side (ha) Flick had managed to burn himself this time and not Alphaess, which was...a step in the right direction. Maybe. Or backwards...he had no idea. But his wrist sort of hurt. The flame had licked a bit too close, and when Flick observed his wrist he could see that the flame had actually happened to burn some of the skin there. It wasn't too bad, but the skin was a bit red where the flames had touched too close.

Rather tired of her apprentice's actions (and a bit irritated, too) Alphaess uncomfortably shifted her weigh on her right leg and placed her hands on her sides. "Thought we had a deal about these jokes, don't we?" This was going to be... quite slow. And tiring too. With a silent growling under her breath, she continued; "Just don't get knocked down on your face. Because if you do, it won't make help with your survival" Probably if you get knocked on your back, your enemies will less likely to offer you a hand to get back up. The best you could hope at that scenario would be a blade going through your flesh; a quicker and more painless death.

Boredom and irritation was growing, with the slightest bits of anger, inside the heroine. She could easily see why she was never welcomed to help the apprentice training, but of course, she never wanted it either. "Let's... Try it again." Alphaess sighed, shaking her head slightly and now looking down at her hands. "Copy my movement." She ordered, taking her gaze off him for a second. Than, the heroine got into a defensive position; one foot behind the other, hands and arms in the air, back straight and head facing forwards. It was the simple spell casting position that a hero would learn in the simple Guild training. It was just... simple. Though the heroine was unable to notice that she wasn't being listened.

When Alphaess finally decided to turn around to face him, there was a faint scent. Burning fabric? It appeared to be something like that. And, as soon as she turned around, she was able to see the orange flames on Flick's arm as he was trying to extinguish them in a panicked way. The heroine's eyes widened in shock and lips curved into a frown. When did he... And how was that... There were many questions appearing in her head now, but there was no time to think about them right now. She had to save him. But, before she had time to do any action, Flick seem to save himself; by pulling the cloth off and throwing it away, straight into the lake. Now her Will user clothing was... floating on water with faint steam still coming off. After staring at the clothing for a few seconds (or maybe a bit longer) her eyes turned back on Flick, in a questioning way. Fire. He had fire now. Really? It had taken Alphaess three weeks to get fire. Three weeks! And he was just able to light things up less than three days. Was that even possible?

Alphaess opened her mouth to say something, but nothing seem to sound right in the situation. Should she scold him for burning the stupid clothing (to be honest, she was kinda happy that these damn things were gone for long now) or praise him for almost burning him like a candle? Ah, well, maybe she didn't had to do either. She did noticed Flick's gaze was down on his wrist now, which was probably burnt by the fire. The heroine, silently, walked up to him. "Let me see your wrist." She said in an emotionless voice and reached to hold his arm. Trying not to touch the sensitive red areas, she inspected the burn. "Well, lucky you did not burnt off yourself. Maybe we could even use this in our favor." Alphaess added yet again in a voice that give no emotions before taking a deep breath. She raised her other hand and placed over the burn, trying to be gentle at the same time.

"You better watch carefully, I'm sure your going to need this ability a lot during training." Alphaess added, returning her gaze up to Flick's face for a brief second. This time, she had the slightest beginning of a smile. If she had to be honest, she was rather impressed. Though he was still unable to target correctly, being able to cast the spell was enough in her idea. With her attention now turned on the burnt skin once more, Alphaess focused on her own Will abilities. Shortly after, a pleasant white-pink glow started to come off from where her hand was touching. She gently moved her hand a little, the bright glow fallowing it closely. It was... relaxing and soft. Not something Alphaess would usually enjoy. When it was over, she let go of his arm and pulled her hands back to her sides, but did not take a step back from where she was. She examined his arm one last time after looking back at Flick's face, expecting some sort of reply from him. He might have some Will powers, but she still had some tricks she haven't thought him.

Well, ow. That had kind of hurt, but Flick was trying not to show or give away too easily that he'd burned himself. Yet, Alphaess seemed to have noticed regardless and now had approached to take his wrist in her hand. He flinched out of habit, but resisted the urge to pull away. It wasn't like she was going to hurt him, or anything. But he had been expecting at least her to reprimand him for trying to do something on his own. When she placed her other hand over the burn, Flick mumbled a small: "Ow." Cuts and bruises hurt quite a bit, but burns were really the worst thing possible to have. Yet, he did not say much more than that to make himself sound too wimpy. It wasn't as bad as it could've been, after all. There would probably be a lot more injuries before his training was complete, after all...He refrained from pulling back and instead allowed Alphaess to do whatever she needed to do. To her words, he gave a quaint nod. Need...what ability? A sudden whitish/pink light glowed from where Alphaess's hand was clasped over his wrist. Flick startled, resisting the terrible urge to jerk back. It was weird...did everyone have a specific colouring for their magic? Flick hoped his was something cool. Red...or black. Black magic would be cool. But he realized that his lightning from before had a slight greenish tint to it...green, which was also the colour of his eyes. How odd.

Finally, Alphaess released her grip on his hand but did not move away. Flick glanced down at his wrist to observe it, but the burn was gone. His arm was as it had been before he'd cast the magic...The skin was as though nothing had occurred, and even the pain had gone away altogether. Flick's eyes darted up to Alphaess with a start--a little more than aware how close she was. "Uh...thanks." Then, cheekily, he added: "Red." He ran a hand across his wrist for a moment distractedly. He didn't think he'd be able to do that quite yet, but then again...more things had surprised him as of late. He experimentally closed his hand. Fire. That would most certainly come in handy...Flick glanced back at the lake where the clothes were still smoldering. Perhaps now with short sleeves...he could actually not scald himself.

But, just to be sure, Flick took a careful step back from Alphaess. He didn't want to burn her, of course. But he knew that Alphaess might be doubting him for his abilities, and he really just wanted to prove that he wasn't as hopeless as he seemed. It seemed as though he was more open to using his Will ability with certain emotions, but perhaps Flick could get around that. It was mostly concentration, after all. Flick glanced at his right hand and opened his hand so that his palm was exposed. After a moment of nothing happened, something did happen. A small flicker of orange flame started up directly in the center of his hand and flickered slightly. It couldn't have been bigger than a candle light, yet Flick intended that purposely as not to catch himself on fire...again. After a moment, Flick closed his hand and the fire extinguished itself. Things seemed to be piecing themselves together by this point, and Flick had actually...well, accomplished something. This time he hadn't hurt anyone or himself. Perhaps, just perhaps, he might actually be...good at this?

"So, I'm a human candle. That's nice to know." Flick said at last, turning his face back to look at the Heroine. There was a grin on his face as he looked at her, however, and he raised his eyebrow cheekily when he asked: "Not completely hopeless now, am I?" It was a silly thing to say considering his prior mistakes like nearly zapping Alphaess and torching himself...but maybe he at least knew what he was capable of, now. Hell, there was a lot more things to learn at any rate. The healing thing...fire, lightning. Well, it was incredibly, really. He was like...a wizard of sorts. Well, in all those old tales he'd been told as a kid wizards had always been old men with long gray beards and Flick wasn't even close to sporting a beard of sorts. He'd really be lucky if he had any stubble hair...but regardless, he wasn't an old man either. So...maybe wizard was the wrong word for that. Flick experimentally opened his hand again, but this time didn't create another flame. He looked over at Alphaess again: "What's next, teach'?"

When Alphaess a start from Flick, at first she was a little confused. The animal-like heroine could not really tell where the personal grounds started and ended very well, so she was rather afraid of doing something wrong most of the time. It was (one of) the biggest fears she had. Realizing in a few seconds, she did not had enough time to move away before Flick took a step. In response, she was able to cross her arms and put one foot a little behind, allowing her to get a little more further from him. She rolled her eyes for a second before returning her gaze on his hands. Yet again, a small orange flame was flickering in the middle of his arm. It was weak and too small to be a fireball, but for a beginner, it was pretty amazing. Despite the fact that he had gone against her training; playing with fire instead of listening to her, how he progressed was... effective in one way. Maybe he didn't even require a teacher for all these little things after all.

"Alright, fire." Alphaess murmured a little to herself, keeping her voice unimpressed even though in reality, she was impressed how quick he have gotten the hang of stuff. "Let's try that new ability of yours." Alphaess now walked up beside Flick, keeping a good distance between the two meanwhile. She raised her hands and opened her palms. Both hands were kept together; using the power of both to combine together a larger mass of flames. Than, in the middle of her hands, a small flame appeared and in a time of a blink, it have gotten larger into the size of a large apple. The bright golden and orange flames flickered aggressively in between her hands, but yet, still under control of the caster. Alphaess's gaze was kept on the bright flames for a few seconds, but it returned back on Flick after keeping the fireball stable in her hands. "Keeping the flames under control is important, especially if you don't want to find new clothing after each shot" Her arms moved and her hands went back a little, than, like simply throwing an object, her hands went forwards fast, shooting the flaming ball forwards with a slower speed. "Time to show your accuracy"

After the training session, which have lasted for a few tiring hours, Alphaess had taken lead once more. She was still holding the half burnt and soaked piece of clothing in one hand that still dripped water and smelled like smoke. Alphaess wasn't quite sure what she was going to do with the half burnt Will user clothing, but it was probably better than just leaving it in the lake she used for a swim at times, it wound just make a large mess. Swimming there was refreshing; the cool water, silence and all. There wasn't anyone to try to 'take a peek' there either. The sun had started to get lost in the behind the mountains, the light getting dimmer with every second. Under the low light, Alphaess's eyes seem to get more golden. Or maybe that was just because of the fact it was night, a perfect time for the inner beast to come out. After the short walk (while also making sure to choose a route away from any traps she have set) they were once again under the large tree. One of the Hobbe carcasses were surprisingly gone, with the arrow that have impaled it once now lying down on the ground. Probably someone got really hungry to steal these stinking things. Really really hungry, otherwise nothing would like to eat these little pests. The rope was still in the exact same place as before, but like usual, Alphaess wasn't planing to use it. Shooting a glance at Flick's direction first to make sure he was there, the heroine took her mighty leap upwards, landing on the wooden platform with almost no effort.

Brushing herself off slightly when her boots hit the platform once again, Alphaess still was keeping a hold of the clothing. There appeared to be a little more light than the forest ground, being quite higher than before. The sun was barely visible behind a set of trees, slowly going down. Without waiting Alphaess headed inside, pushing the doors open and stepping in. The upper piece of the Will User clothing was quickly thrown aside in disgrace. The color of the creamy-light blue cloth had turned into a darker color as it was still wet. And the sleeve was mostly eaten by the flames. Now it was just a piece of junk. But there were plenty of useless junk Alphaess kept here too. The large white creature seem to have visited here a while ago. The couch at the side seem to have moved a little and now had even more white fur resting upon. Probably the white hunting companion would not be around for a little more time, or until Alphaess would get rid of Flick. The heroine took off her black shawl and tossed it away impatiently. Than, her attention went on the cupboards and cabinets, where she kept her food. Starting to search for some food, she started opening each of them them and spending a few seconds to look inside.
