The walk had not been as exhausting as Flick had expected (maybe he was getting used to it. Hah.) but he'd still gotten a little drained from having to lug the stupid burlap sack along with him. However, despite its annoyance, Flick was not dropping that thing even if he didn't need it for whatever was to happen next. Money was money, after all, and Flick's enjoyment for it had not changed one bit because of the deal. But as they walked, Flick grew very aware that they were sort of close to Darkwood...a shiver had ran involuntarily down Flick's back at the thought of being close to the place. But, no, he figured that he would not be done with the place now that the deal had been struck. After all, Alphaess seemed so used to that place it would make sense that they might pass by it a few times. Yet, Flick could not be afraid. If he learned how to handle the Will better, perhaps it would not be as bad as the first time. And, thankfully, he'd replaced the shiny belt buckle with just a normal looping leather belt. Belts, of course, being something Flick required. Merchant pants...well, they didn't always come in his size. It wouldn't be very professional if he had his pants fall down, right?

They were in a deep woods...Alphaess seemed to have averted from the main path and had taken more of a steeper route. It was still the woods of course, so Flick would be a little hesitant. They passed through the foliage and the overhanging boughs, with Flick nearly being decapitated by a low hanging bough once or twice. He managed to brush by them, of course, but if the Balverine were to scrape by a branch Flick would immediately move aside. He didn't exactly want the branch to snap back and hit him in the face. That would certainly be impressive...so Flick stayed out of the beast's way and hung about a little ways to the side Alphaess. Though, towards the end of the trip he'd started to linger behind her as the weight of the sack was seriously weighing him down.

But at last, it seemed as though they had come to a stop. Alphaess spoke, gesturing about to their surroundings with the slightest of grins upon her face. Flick immediately was confused. This was impossible--she couldn't live under a tree. Seriously? Maybe she really was crazy...never mind the fact that there was two dead Hobbes before them, stinking up a rather unappealing smell. Flick grew cautious, looking over the dead gray forms in case they were to suddenly spring to their feet and try and attack Flick again. They were both struck with arrows, though, so that did not seem too likely.

The woods, however, had started to give Flick an odd feeling...the rune had started to do that thing again where it would warm up around the edges. It always seemed like the rune would do things depicting on Flick's current mood, or something bound to happen. It would often change colours depending on his mood and even 'hum' if things got too tense, like they had been at the Guild. But it had warmed up before, especially when trouble had been about to occur. Perhaps it had been predicting something...? No, that seemed silly. It was just a rune. A stolen object which Alphaess and the Guildmaster had implied that it was a symbol of great evil...bah. It was just a rock.

"Alright, you got me." Flick said, extending his arms outwards in a confident manner, despite him being totally confused. "Is this some sort of trick or something? A test? Because unless you use dead Hobbes for a bed, I'm not really seeing much of a house here." He glanced about at the tree that she had placed her hand upon. "Uh...I get the whole 'animal' thing. Y'know, the 'sleep amongst the stars' and stuff, but...this is literally...a forest." He tried not to sound too dubious as though he was thinking she was crazy but, really, Flick was confused. Perhaps she was just playing a game with him...but, with Alphaess, Flick could never predict what was bound to happen next.

Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - Greatwood

The large balverine was already feeling at home... if it was still standing behind Flick. The white creature was... gone. And just in the time of a blink, the large creature have, literally, disappeared. Alphaess did not seem to care much about the disappearance of the creature though. For a second, she slightly moved her hand on the old tree, inspecting the trunk. Placing her coolest face on she leaned to the trunk, facing Flick to answer his question. She knew he was confused; and enjoyed it too.

"Think I haven't realised that yet?" The heroine replied, crossing her arms over her chest this time. She still had her black hood on, but it wasn't covering her eyes like usual, just the hair. "And, no, would you expect me to sleep somewhere like this? All out in the open?" She sighed, shaking her head slightly at the same time with a smile on her face. She was intentionally making this more and more confusing, but it was more entertaining. "Even I require privacy at times..." She murmured to herself silently, tuning her head away from him. Than, the heroine turned her gaze elsewhere; up, to the higher branches of the tree. "Since you are yet to use your Will abilities effectively, I suggest you hang here for a little" the heroine pushed herself away from the tree and took a few steps towards Flick during her talk. When she was finished, she was just a few feet away from him. Than after flashing a grin at him lastly, she took a step back and got ready for a jump; like a balverine, she crouched a little down than, like a compressed spring getting free, with extreme speed, Alphaess jumped up. And in less than a second she disappeared behind the green leaves of the tree.

There was a creek heard, when the heroine's boots tapped on the wooden boards. Unexpected when looked from the ground, there stood one mideum sized house, a treehouse in the middle of the tree, standing on a wooden platform. Strangely, it seem to be in harmony with the tree; there were no branches cut to place the residence there, and more like the branches were surrounding it instead. Hidden by the large green leaves, feets high above the forest floor. There was no ladder or anything, making it impossible for anyone that did not had the super jumping ability of the balverine to reach (which was no trouble for Alphaess). But it was possible to fix this problem. Alphaess silently walked over to the edge of the platform, where there was a thick rope was tied to. With every step the heroine took, a slight creeking voice echoed in the place surrounded with green leaves. After grabbing the ropes, Alphaess let one side down from the platform (And by letting it down, she meant dumping it down directly on Flick)

When Alphaess have turned to check the knots (she wouldn't like her apprenticed to kill himself by falling down from this height, right?) But, she was stopped by her 'lost' companion blocking her way by standing tall in front with a glare down to her, giving her a rather accusing look with the blood red eyes locked on her. "What? No, no, he wouldn't dare to reveal the location of our home..." The heroine replied to this behaviour of the balverine with a confident voice. Even if he did tried to do such, there would be... consequences. Really bad and painful consequences, which Alphaess would be glad to do herself. The balverine did not seem to be impressed by the answer and stood in place. But... Alphaess moved simply around the balverine and approached the place where the knots where.

This had to be some sort of trick that Alphaess was playing on Flick. He had grown rather sure that she was going to reveal something sooner or later, as perhaps something of a 'test' to see whether Flick was paying attention or not. She was facing him with her hood covering her head, speaking with a sly smile upon her face. She then finished up what she was saying and, promptly, sprang into the trees with a magnificent leap. This was a Will ability, Flick knew. Obviously he wasn't able to do it himself or anything more than the lightning at this point, but he still envied her abilities. There was still a lot he had to learn, as a simple 'zap' of lightning would never do to completely help Flick become Hero material. Sure, it helped, but Flick still needed to learn to control it...aim it...(and by aim it, more like being able to shoot the target and not a companion) and even learn more abilities than just the one that he knew. There was plenty available to a Hero, of course. Fire, battle charges...a lot more, Flick was sure. After all, Will basically distorted reality. It seemed rather intimidating that he held that very power at his own hands...

Something fell upon Flick before he had a chance to react, and he flinched. It spilled over his shoulders and to the ground, coiling at his feet...rope. Flick glanced up to where Alphaess had disappeared (he could hear the tapping of her feet on the wood) and gave the rope a slight tug. It seemed sturdy enough...Flick was no fan of heights so, of course, this would prove a little difficult. Not only that, but Flick wasn't in the best peek physical shape in comparison to Heroes. He was, well, a little scrawny for Hero standards, a bit weak and lacking in a superior endurance. A rope climb, however, would not be the death of Flick.

The conman braced one hand a little ways up on the rope and the opposite hand a little lower. Using that, he hoisted himself up so that his feet were now off the ground. This, of course, would mostly have to be from the strength of the upper body. Flick did not like the feeling of having nothing to step down on, so it was only instinctive that he'd try to wrap his legs around the rope. From there, it was only one tug after another until he reached the top, whereupon Flick let go of the rope and collapsed on the platform with a heaving gasp. Perhaps it would've helped if he'd dropped the money bag...ah, well. Flick had brought it this far. He was not getting rid of it now. Flick took a moment to get his bearings and, upon doing so, he got up to his knees and stared breathlessly at Alphaess.

"So, that was...fun." He managed, a little wearily. Flick noticed that the Balverine did not seem to be impressed, maybe even having glared at Alphaess with an accusing look...Flick took no notice. After all, when did the Balverine ever look happy? Flick carefully stood from where he'd been on his knees, brushing off scraps of dust and adjusting the strap of his bag. "Uh, nice place...I think. But what training do you exactly have planned for this place? It seems kind of...forest-y." If they were to practice will here, the effects might be...exhilarating, to say the least. Lightning and trees, well...Flick didn't really want to burn down Alphaess's home by accident, nor did he think she'd ever forgive him if he did. But, perhaps, this was not part of training and simply a chance to take a breather for once after all that had occurred. Then again, maybe not. Flick had yet to see whether Alphaess was a more lenient and lax mentor or one who was harsh and forgiving. And Flick got the feeling that it was not going to be the former...

Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - Greatwood

The heroine was resting her eyes on the pretty little house of hers. She wasn't a fan of staying inside a place with walls, but... this place have always made her fell, well, at home. From the outside, the house appeared to be quite small and neat, made out of almost fully wood. Like what else you could expect to use in a secret tree-house in the middle of Greatwood? When Flick collapsed onto the wooden platform with some noise, Alphaess turned around, looking down at him, unimpressed. He would have to do a lot more than this if he wanted to become a Hero.

Listening to his words with a somewhat sly smile on face, Alphaess stood silent for a second. "Exactly." Alphaess said finally, dusting off her clothing, than removing her hood above her head. There was no use for it anyway; even if someone would dare straying from the main path across the forest and end up here, no one could spot them up here, with the leaves obstructing the view. "Actually, we are currently in the southern parts of Greatwood, close to where Darkwood starts ... A suitable place for a lady and her loyal companion... and the new guy." Alphaess said with a quick pause, turning her eyes on the balverine, whom have already lost interest in the subject, than back at Flick with a slight smile, than gestured with her hands to her surroundings; "...Also, it is a silent place to practice Will and skill abilities."

"But, we are here for a more important thing..." Alphaess turned around quickly, the small strand of braided red hair slightly swayed as she turned, and started to walk towards the house. "Fallow me." Alphaess spoke, more like an order, with a hand wavered in the air slightly. Her boots were still causing a faint noise with each step. It could be quite... irritating if you were to focus on. Surprisingly, Alphaess seem to be different. She was less bitter, maybe even content. Her eyes were in a bright golden color that was easily noticeable. Perhaps Alphaess was just happy to be home after days of tiring Guild drama.

When Alphaess finally reached the wooden doors, she paused for a second, than pushed the doors open with ease. Inside of the house was quite cozy, unless you did not count the great mess it was in. You probably could find anything around. There was also a step up right after the doors. There were some pelts of different creatures here and there on the floor or on top of the furniture, weapons hung on walls, various chests and shelves holding strange objects; creature fangs, strange brightly colored stones, blades, 'trophies', masks; all kind of stuff that might attract a strange (or slightly insane) hunter woman living in a forest. At one side of the room was a couch of some kind, badly damaged by claws and had bits of loose white fur all over it. Near the center was another one, in quite better shape. The place was almost filled with these sort of stuff, but Alphaess did not seem to mind the mess at all. For her, there was an order in the mess.

"Don't dare touch or break anything." Alphaess spat with a short glare sent over her shoulder and continued inside. "...and watch your step." She added quite more silently as she moved past the couch and went into another room (there were only three rooms actually; this one, Alphaess's room and a small storage one), shutting the door behind her as she did not wanted to be fallowed inside. Now... Since they were here, Alphaess could find what she needed. Some extra equipment, yes, weapons, there, and... oh, right there, she knew it would be there. It did took a few minutes for her to find it, but, she did finally found it in the end. Will user clothing. She never knew when she would use these, but it looks like it was finally time. It had been said that these things would help people get their Will power easier to control. They did seem to be a little... funny, but it didn't matter much. Gloves, a strange looking hat and robe. Alphaess remembered wearing those once or twice, but they were not quite made for a female and seem to be a bit large for her. And of course, Alphaess would never use such funny uniforms.

Holding the cloths she have found, Alphaess opened the door and walked out. She put (again, not very gently. The heroine sure did not know how to put things down; all she did was throwing them around) "So, Will user, try these" Alphaess dusted herself off a bit, the storage room was sure dusty. And so was the cloths. Alphaess looked up at Flick, waiting for him to do as she said, silently. This wasn't actually the main reason she have came here, the main reason Alphaess was here was something more simple; she was tired and did not want Flick to know this. And, where would provide a better place to practice peacefully than a secret 'base' in the middle of a large woods.

Flick rocked hesitantly onto his right leg so that his weight was leaned there and, with a cautious look, gave a slight nod. In all actuality, she was right. The woods were quaint and dark and, if there were any passerbys, they probably wouldn't even take notice of Alphaess's little hideout. But Flick gave the slightest raise of his eyebrow at the 'new guy'. Flick wasn't totally for the idea of being so close to Darkwood considering their last experience but, if that's what it took, he could at least try and not be afraid of the dark. After all, this place seemed pretty away from danger...the scariest thing he had to worry about was the Balverine. Or, maybe, Alphaess herself. Flick eyed the Balverine cautiously, but the white beast seemed to have lost interest at this point. That was fine by Flick...perhaps, just perhaps, the Balverine wouldn't be someone to worry about. Of course, Flick knew that the Balverine didn't like him and Flick wasn't all too peachy about the creature either. But he could deal with it at the very least.

Yet, at Alphaess’s ‘order’, Flick could only oblige. He followed after her, after he quickly adjusted the bag again. It was a little weird being so high above the ground…Flick had started to grow a little nervous that he might accidentally slip up and fall over the edge. Oh, that would certainly be Heroic. Flick had a habit for being slightly clumsy in the worst of times but, then again, he could also be pretty swift and stealthy when it came to thievery or conning. Yet, he managed to not fall. He noticed, however, that Alphaess did seem a lot more content here…not at all like she had been back in the Guild. There, she had seemed more bitter and reserved. Even in Darkwood, Alphaess had seemed to far prefer it to a place like the Guild…perhaps Flick would never understand her. He could always ask but, then again, Flick didn’t want to risk his neck for that.

Finally, Alphaess reached a set of doors and pushed them open. Flick followed her inside, immediately taking notice of their surroundings. It actually almost seemed like a normal home, much unlike Flick would have expected for a person like Alphaess. It was, well, rather cozy. They passed by a couch and, promptly, Alphaess entered another room and closed the door behind her to leave Flick alone on the outside. Rather uncomfortably, Flick stayed silent while she seemingly rummaged about on the inside and, boredly, he crossed his arms to wait for her. Now, alone, he could fully take in the surroundings. It was rather a strange place, but Flick would not have assumed anything less for Alphaess. It seemed like she was almost a hunter of sorts.... Trophies, blades, masks, fangs, stones and all the likes that a collector of sorts might own. It wasn’t long until she emerged again and promptly dumped something in his arms, quite startling Flick.

Clothes? Flick glanced down at them, completely unimpressed. Flick's usual attire was scrappy clothes he usually bought from various other merchants. He never wore the usual merchant attire--which was the silly hat, bright purple clothes and large travel bags...for Flick it was always some sort of villager shirt, his brown coat and baggier pants and a belt. This way, it didn't exactly make him look like most merchants but, at the same time, Flick appreciated the fact that he didn't look like a total dope. But this--these clothes looked like robes. Dress-y stuff. The hat was definitely out of the question...Flick glanced up at Alphaess: "Uhm...hats aren't my thing."

But, despite his words, Flick gave a small huff. Damn deal...he cast a withering look at Alphaess and set the dusty clothes down upon the ground, taking his coat off (careful to keep the rune hidden) and folded it. There was no way he was taking his shirt off again--he'd been embarrassed enough from that. Flick set the coat aside (kicking it a little ways away so it wouldn't catch Alphaess's attention) and knelt down to pick through the clothes. They were sort of a creamy-white, which was certainly not Flick's style at all...but, he obliged, and carefully pulled the sort of shirt-like upper robe. "So, we came here just for a wardrobe change?" Flick questioned, simultaneously as he pulled it over his head. Fortunately, it wasn't as silly looking as he'd thought it to be but it was still quite a bit odd for him to be wearing something so...bright. There was something like a shawl that was strapped to the shoulder, which made Flick a little weirded out. The bottom 'robe' bit was next, which Flick could actually manage to pull over his bottom clothing (they were baggy enough, fortunately). There was also gloves; Flick had to remove his own fingerless gloves for these and, when finished, Flick sat back on his knees. "I feel stupid."

Alphaess stayed silent for a few seconds after she had handed the cloths to Flick. Taking a step back, she waited for him to wear the cloths, taking the strangely shaped hat out of the pile of blue-white cloths and holding in one hand. Keeping her eyes on Flick (she haven't seen a reason to avert her eyes; he wasn't going to take off any parts of his clothing anyway) and crossing her arms promptly. She had no idea how old these cloths were; she had received these from the Guildmaster. But, she was never able to fit in these robes, nor liked them at all. Blue and white were not just her colors... And she felt more comfortable in her own black, red and brown armor. Also, the robes had no protection at all. She was rather glad she was no Will based hero. The robe was sure looking weird.

"Not quite." Alphaess replied with a silent sigh and eyes still on Flick. "But, I thought while we were here, it would be easier to grab you some equipment." Well, he should be thankful she was letting him use her equipment. It was quite rare for Alphaess to share; even if it was about a silly suit that didn't even fit her. She actually had plenty of clothing and equipment that did not fit her properly; it was more common to come across male's clothing around Albion. And the ones that she believed might be useful at some point or could simply be sold for a good amount of coins were all brought here. Well, if she felt nice enough, she could also offer some sort of replacement for Flick's current villager clothing that was cut at his earlier test.

When he was fully dressed, Alphaess inspected him for a second with a smile on her face. She wouldn't just laugh at him for looking that silly, nope, it wasn't her kind of stuff to do. "Ah, it certainly fits you better." She murmured, trying to be encouraging, or so she thought. "Will user's outfit; it should make it easier to control your Will powers." Alphaess gave a short lecture about the clothing, shooting a look at him at the control part. Though Alphaess seem to didn't mind him shooting her with a lightning, she have not forgotten it. And would not forget it easily, either. Alphaess circled around him once, to see the whole outfit. Than stopping once again in front of him and giving a some sort of approving look.

"Unless you are eager for your training to start, I'll give you a break; just because it's your first day." Alphaess said next, rather boredly. She was tired herself too, and that was the actual reason for calling it a day; well maybe not exactly a day, but... She preferred the lessons to be either in the morning or night-time, noon was not quite the time of the day she was most active at. She was a somewhat nocturnal creature. "I'm not that cruel to give you a painful lesson about how not to set yourself on fire that quickly." Alphaess looked around the room for a second than returned her gaze back on Flick. "...And I should probably find some sort of protection for that first. At least for myself." Alphaess now turned right and walked away and left the hat on a shelf a rather carelessly.

Alphaess picked up drawing that was staying in some sort of frame that was standing lonely above the shelve. "Since I use this place to stay most of the time, it would be better if you also stay here during your training." Alphaess was tiring to organize the stuff that stood on the shelves now, it had been a while she have last did such. "Simple rules; don't touch my belongings, don't enter my room, don't mess anything or set the house on fire and finally, don't go near that couch for your own safety." Alphaess had turned around to have eye contact when she listed her rules. She pointed at the old-looking furniture at the far side of the room at the last part. After that, she walked over to the other door and opened it slowly, still holding the picture in hand. She paused before going inside. "Take the robe off for now if you'll like, I just wanted to see if it would fit..." Alphaess added right before closing the door on him.

The robes, unfortunately, were rather strange for a Flick to be wearing and he'd grown slightly wary about wearing them. They seemed a little silly for a man of his stature, especially with the bolder colours. Flick uncomfortably opened his arms to study the clothing, dissatisfied upon seeing the way that it looked more like, well, woman's clothing. But it wasn't; it was some sort of mage or wizard attire. Flick, however, was neither of those. Not yet, anyway. He hunched his shoulders in the slightest and looked over at Alphaess with a slightly quirked eyebrow look. He did not look all that impressed in the slightest, even going as far as to cross his arms across his chest in an obvious displeased posture. There was no doubt that if he hadn't been wearing clothes underneath it might be a little...breezy...so it was assumed that the robes were supposed to be worn over something. That was fine by Flick. He didn't want to deny Alphaess's gesture, but there was a good chance he was taking this off the first chance he got.

Flick continued to observe the clothing while Alphaess spoke, only pausing upon her finishing. He'd noted her tone at 'control' but only offered a slight, dumb smile. Oops. But he didn't speak and listened to her lecture, a little glad when she seemed to be offering him a rest...Flick was glad. He was tired after the test and all that had occurred. She had walked away from him to set the hat upon a shelf (hopefully for good. Flick...wasn't a fan.) She listed her rules to him and Flick could only nod: "Sure thing...'teach." Ookay. Don't touch anything. That would work, right? Considering that really only left him the...floor. Ah, Flick had worst places to rest before. Stables, on hay piles. Someone's porch. Under that someone's porch when it had started to rain...

Finally, Alphaess exited the room and shut the door on him, leaving Flick alone in the room. The eyes of the masks were...a little creepy. Flick reached under the hem of the robe and pulled it up and over his head, casting it aside and simultaneously tugging off the lower end. Sure, it was...cool, he supposed, but...he didn't see how looking totally goofy would help Will abilities. Flick took the bundle of clothes (along with his coat) and propped them against the nearest wall. Really, if there was no where to sleep and the couch was out of the question...he could make do. Flick sat back upon the clothes and, for just that moment (seeing as Alphaess was gone) he reached down and removed the rune from the coat, setting it in his lap. Dumb...he'd been dumb to take it. Now with Alphaess, there was a chance she'd see it and...well, he didn't know what consequences might occur next. She'd be furious, most likely...

The rune hummed, and glowed a pleasant green. Ah, right. The mood thing...what had green been again? Discomfort or nervousness, Flick assumed. It was probably due to the dead eyes watching him...Flick's olive gaze swept over the surface of the smooth rock. What exactly could a rock do that causes 'great evil?' It hasn't done anything to me. Maybe it's just a power thing... Flick thought distractedly, brushing his thumb over the surface of the rune. Ah, those were thoughts for another time. Flick returned the rune to its spot in his coat and leaned back against the wall, allowing his head to fall back. He had a knack for falling asleep in weird positions. And fall asleep he did: soon, despite the fear of the masks and the woods, Flick's eyes had closed on their own and his breathing had slowed to a steady rate...

Before he fell asleep, however, Flick was sure that he felt an odd presence before him. How strange...there was no one in the room, as Alphaess had gone off somewhere. It was a strange feeling, one that someone might get when they believed someone was watching them. But no one was here. The only residents were the Balverine and Alphaess, and neither of them could be here. It was as though a cold shadow had swept over Flick for just a moment of time...but, tired, Flick automatically assumed it was part of his exhausted subconscious and he soon forgot about it. Sleep came soon after and, before he knew it, Flick had been dragged into its murky depths in a matter of minutes.

Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - Greatwood

The golden sun was yet to show itself, but the golden eyed heroine was awake already. Alphaess stood tall beside her bed (which was also pretty much of a mess at the moment) wearing the heavy chest plate over the plain brown shirt quickly. Her hair scruffy as usual, maybe even more, it was obvious that she haven't even touched it since yesterday. Most of her equipment was in place; her brown boots, leg-plates, leggings, sword sheath hanging on her belt. With a lazy yawn and stretching her arms, Alphaess looked around her room. It was pretty much like the other room but slightly messier and there seem to be some... drawings. The silver eyed hero that they have seen earlier in the Guild corridors, the blonde haired heroine, they both had their drawings on a shelf beside Alphaess's bed. Finally wearing her gauntlets and the metal protections over them, Alphaess had her full gear on, and was ready to exit her room.

The room's door opened and closed quickly, the heroine was now in the room where Flick was supposed to be. Sleepily running her hand in her red hair, Alphaess slightly shook her head afterwards, trying to get the sleepiness off her. She had a nice slumber for the night -more accurately for the day, it was around evening when she slept- and now, as the sleep worn off, she felt relaxed, and could easily focus on her task; training her new apprentice. Her eyes scanned the area and shortly after spotted Flick; lying down on the floor while leaning to the wall. Well, not exactly on the floor, more like on a pile of clothes. Hm, was this normal? Probably. There was nowhere else to sleep on and probably the old chair wouldn't do a better place to sleep. Of course, sleeping on the couch that was used by the balverine as a bed wasn't also a clever choice of bed either.

Silently, Alphaess walked over to Flick's little bed and stood over for a few seconds, looking down with somewhat curiosity, inspecting him for a second. She stooped down, having her head a little above and front of his. Than, she tried waving her hand in front of him, in an attempt to wake him up. But it seems he was in a deep sleep. Than, the heroine tried to snap her fingers in front of his face but that wasn't useful either. Was this even some kind of test? How hard could waking one up be... Bored, the heroine backed away, standing straight once again.

For a second, Alphaess gave a loud sigh; the nice ways were useless. The heroine was bored of this already, she had to get training equipment, not mess with this. Finally, the not amused Alphaess poked him slightly with the tip of her boot, maybe a bit too hardly. Ah, Alphaess rarely knew how to control her strength anyway. "Are you planing to wake up today?" Alphaess murmured to herself, keeping her pure golden eyes down on Flick afterwards. Maybe taking on an apprentice wasn't the most clever idea she had... Or would be the easiest.

Flick's sleep was undisturbed and peaceful which, really, was one of the best sleeps he had in a very long time. At some point Flick had shuffled down from his 'sitting position' and was now draped overtop of his make-shift bed (which was a pile of clothes). His left arm was lying over the side and his right arm was tucked under his head, so that he was sleeping on his stomach instead of his back. This way,it was a little more comfortable but still not exactly the best bed he'd ever been in. It would do, of course. Besides, it wasn't like Flick cared all that much about it. His breath came in short spurts, almost with a rasp-y like noise. Not quite a snore, but not quite 'normal' either. Then again, no one would really sound 'normal' if they were passed out with their face smushed into a pile of clothing. Flick was no exception, either.

When Flick awoke, there was a sharp jab of pain in his exposed left side. The conman made an irritable noise and rolled back over onto his opposite side so that he was now facing the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. He was awake but, really, not entirely. But ouch--that poke kind of hurt. Perhaps it was just his imagination...yet, Flick faltered slightly upon hearing a familiar voice behind him: Are you planning to wake up today? Flick gave a slight huff, hunching his shoulders and turning back over so that he was on his back and looking up and over to Alphaess. Flick gave the slightest quirk of a smile, the corner of his lip turning up. His blonde hair was a total mess, even with its length. Flick reached a hand up and ran his fingers through it in a futile attempt to tame it but, alas, to no avail. "Eventually..." Flick admitted, with the starts of a cheeky grin.

[Flick gave a huffing sigh and swung his legs over so that instead of lying down on his back he was now sitting up with his legs draped over the clothing, making it look like a little low 'chair' of sorts. He glanced up at Alphaess and resisted the urge to yawn, which would probably make him look a lot more tired than he already was. "Have a nice sleep, Red? That is...if you do sleep." His olive gaze drifted past Alphaess for a brief moment to scour his surroundings. He'd forgotten for a moment where he was but, now that he was awake, he could clearly recall what had occurred the previous day. Almost involuntarily Flick's hand crossed up to his collarbone where Quiver had nicked him before. If it had bled the blood had long since dried, leaving a slight indent in the skin where the Hero's blade had cut too close...ah, well. It didn't really hurt, so that was good at the very least. It wasn't like Flick was going to be sporting any scars any time soon. In fact, he didn't have any scars at all...aside from the slightest nick on his lower lip from an 'incident' as a kid.

Before Alphaess would have the chance to respond, Flick stood from his little 'bed' and lazily stretched his arms disinterestedly. He was just wearing his simple white shirt (still with the nicks from the fight) and typical villager trousers, which was also the same thing he'd fallen asleep in. Ah, well. Flick's 'outfit' wasn't his biggest concern. At the moment, he was just refraining from drawing attention to the dumb 'Will user' clothing. Those...well, he wouldn't use them unless he really had to. He uncomfortably reached back to touch the back of his neck, looking to Alphaess with an inquiring expression: "So...what's on the agenda today? I'm assuming it's something along the lines of me getting my ass kicked. Correct me if I'm wrong."

Alphaess took a step back, wow, something really was happening. The sleeping man made a strange noise than rolled around, which was quite... strange for Alphaess. Well, maybe she did not had much connection with humans but she knew enough that this... wasn't normal. And the noise; it sounded like someone was trying to strangle him. She had to get him a bed for sure; at least provide a less cloth-y one. Crossing her arms and giving a glare down at Flick, Alphaess murmured; "I thought you were dead for a second."

Upon his comment, the heroine replied with an eye roll. She did had a nice sleep there; from evening to... early morning. It wasn't quite morning yet, the sun was nowhere to be seen, but Alphaess often woke up before the sun. It was some sort of habit that she wouldn't break, unless she felt extremely tired. And that was rare. Like a wolf, she always had energy, just as she always had hunger inside. Though even she was always full of energy, she wouldn't mind a nice sleep either. More likely while the sun was still high. Why loose the precious time you may hunt successfully with the darkness to sleep? Her arms still crossed over her chest, Alphaess kept her eyes locked on Flick as he stood up. He was pretty much of a mess, but Alphaess wasn't in better shape either. Her hair was scruffy as always and some stray red strands were slightly covering her golden eyes. Other than her hair, the armor was looking acceptable, the metal parts did not seem to shine anymore, but not completely covered with mud either. The leather band with her symbol on was standing perfectly on her left arm, covering a little 'secret' of Alphaess.

"Something like that." Alphaess replied flatly without changing her pose. Her eyes went down to the pile of clothing for a second, seeing her Will user outfit used as bedding material was... or at least should be humble, but Alphaess did not seem to care nor mind it much. She have never liked that suit anyways. If she really had to wear those dumb suits, sge would rather use a 'dark Will user' suit instead; it went better with her colors. Red and black.

Than Alphaess turned around and slightly wavered her hand in the air "Suit up now, we'll start with a nice Will lesson now." Strange, the balverine wasn't here. Probably on some hunting business. It was a hard task to satisfy that thing's hunger, just like it's heroine. Alphaess had shot a look at the empty couch for a second before moving to the hanger her black shawl was hung. Quickly, she have placed it on her shoulders, and it was covering her right shoulder and arm like usual. The Will training was far too dangerous to be done here, she wouldn't be that happy if her home was set ablaze. Afterwards, the heroine checked her equipment for a second. Ah, yes, swords, check, pouches and bags, check, dagger and two straps of blades, check... Now, what was she missing? Or why was she felt like she was missing something? The heroine paused for a second with her back turned to Flick. Right! The Guild Seal. Where did she put that darn thing again? Her eyes searched around the room, but it wasn't there. "Go, wait me at the forest floor, I'll be there in a minute." Alphaess replied, heading back into her room. But the heroine stopped when she was right at the door and shot a look back to Flick over her shoulder. "Also, try not to touch anything there. You hear me? Nothing. No collecting shinny things, no inspecting objects, no messing around with stuff... The forest floor is covered with my deadly traps against strangers, so if you do get into one, you won't be getting out of that for a pretty long while." Alphaess spat with a clear and dominant voice, gesturing with her hand in the air as she strictly spoken about the traps. Well, not all were deadly but it would sure be painful. Afterwards, she quickly entered her room but did not closed the door back after her. Now, where was that little thing again?
