◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ Seeing as he had already been busted, Flick's grip slightly relaxed and he lowered his hand slightly. He realized how dumb this idea had been to go 'wandering' around the halls at night when he should've known that, at some point, Flick would be caught. After all, it was not exactly like the Guild was entirely empty. His green eyes diverted themselves down to the blade that the Heroine gripped in her left hand, and he felt himself falter in the slightest. Of course, if Flick had planned to run into someone in the halls he wouldn't have done it in this manner. Besides, he was probably looking pretty silly trying to cover himself like a woman would. Flick sucked up his courage a little and let his hands drop to his sides, not exactly seeing much point in shying away and the fact that she had already seen him. His weight shifted slightly to his right leg and his side touched the wall to the right of him as he did so, giving him the slight appearance of leaning against it.
The chance that Flick had actually been busted being in the halls alone at night by the most coincidental person possible seemed utterly impossible to Flick, and as though luck had just not been on his side tonight. Yet, what exactly had Flick been planning to do? Getting water did not seem like a probable explanation, albeit it had been the first that had come to mind at the time. Ever since the parting with the rune, Flick had felt rather...bare? Oh, that was a great emotion for what he was feeling at present. But despite that, it was rather true. He felt...weird without it. It had been less than a week since Flick had received (stolen) the item but in that brief time it seemed to had made some sort of impression on him. Perhaps Flick's curiosity had gotten the better of him, and he had attempted to try and get a quick peek on where it was at the moment. No, he wasn't trying to steal it. Just...a momentary look. That was all.
"Oh...that was intentional." Flick said after a moment, hunching his shoulders slightly and crossing his arms across his bare chest. He did notice that, however, Alphaess seemed to be keeping her eyes up on his face as though she was purposely trying to avoid looking at him. Was it possible that she might be embarrassed as well? He doubted it...she did not seem the kind to get embarrassed or have any of those types of feelings. But she did seem to avoiding looking down at all, which he noticed quite obviously. "Besides, I was asleep. I...don't like sleeping with a shirt, so shoot me." That was probably a bad choice of words around Alphaess, so Flick immediately stuttered: "Ehr...nevermind that last part. I'll remember for next time, I guess."
Of course, that was only if there was a next time. Flick still had to pass this 'test' that would come in the morning and, to be perfectly honest, he was growing a little concerned. He did not exactly have anyone to prove himself to and why would he even want to be a Hero anyway? It seemed like a lot of work. Yet there was a part of him that really, really did not want to fail. Although it might be slightly difficult without a whole lot of training...But he could always do his best. If it was anything like Darkwood, he could at least use that memory to his advantage...if Flick could even remember how he'd done it. Then, it had been due to adrenaline and luck. Flick snapped himself out of the thoughts and vaguely noticed that Alphaess seemed to be fiddling about with her dagger, tossing it up and then catching it again and playing with it for a moment. When she spoke, Flick gave a slight grin. "It's roughly around midnight, Red. What exactly do you plan to find?" 'Great Halls'? There was truly a lot around the Guild that Flick had yet to explore and a piece of him was curious as if that might be where the rune was put...Flick thought quickly before inquiring in a hesitant voice: "Mind if I tag along? I still have to find my way around here, anyway." And, slightly more devilishly, he added: "You wouldn't want your escort mission getting lost, would you?"

Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - the Guild
❧ Was it pure luck that Alphaess have run into the same man three times in a row when she expected it the least? First Darkwood, than Oakvale, now in the Guild. Well, meeting him had a slightly higher chance to occur here, but it was still pretty lucky. Or unlucky. Alphaess have started to think it was getting irritating, not even thinking about the 'lovely' personality and sarcastic jokes of his.
❧ Her grip around the dagger tightened when Flick said the words; 'shoot me'. That was a desire that Alphaess could accomplish, and it would be the entertaining she seek right now. But with the words he added, Alphaess shrugged slightly, and rather disappointed look, the dagger was placed back in its sheath. She probably still had to keep him in one piece anyway, since the Guildmaster gave him in her control. Not quite control, but the Guildmaster would be mad at her if he were to do or break something.
❧ "You can never know what you may find here." Alphaess said with boredom, getting her hands together and popping the joints. The faint cracking was loud enough to be heard by Flick. Lazily pushing back a few strands of red hair covering her face, she returned her gaze back to Flick "Fine, just make sure you keep along." Alphaess said, gesturing with her hand in the air, telling him to fallow. "But I might get an extra pay for that..." She added with a slight grin, showing off her white teeth.
❧ Alphaess turned around to lead him back to the great hall but stopped, remembering the reason why she was here at first, the white Balverine companion of hers. "Hey, have you seen a large white beast with a black collar around by any chance?" Alphaess said with a glance over her shoulder back to Flick, raising an eyebrow slightly. Where was the creature now? The Balverine hunter have lost contact with the beast after they have left back at the map room. It have probably wondered off to somewhere. Maybe Flick have seen it around here somewhere. Actually, Alphaess had a feeling that told her she would be able to find it at anyplace that had food. So, the great hall was a good place to start the search.

◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "Oh?" Flick inquired with the slightest eyebrow raise at Alphaess's comment, making a slight face as she popped the joints in her hands and he winced a little. The sound of bones cracking was a sound to make anyone nauseous, but Flick especially. It was just a weird pet peeve of his that he happened to strongly be opposed to and was a little creeped out by. But he shook off the thought, anyway, and watched as Alphaess slid the dagger by the grip back into its sheathe. He had noticed her grip tighten a little at his prior words, but he managed to ignore it at the very least. Flick had almost forgotten about being bare from the top up, but the cold chill running down his spine refrained him from doing so. Due to it being near midnight, Flick was aware that it would be quite a bit chillier wandering aimlessly about these halls with so much as a torch light to at least give some sort of warmth...it still seemed like summer...For the most part; the nights were still chilly, of course, but that was Albion.
"I won't fall behind," Flick promised, obliging to the gesture but rolling his eyes slightly at her next comment in a good-natured manner. He could only just hope that she did not mean her words. He'd wasted enough money as it was in the last few days, with the failed sale and the escort (dropping him down one hundred coins). Then again, the rune had at least made up for quite a bit of that. What exact amount had been in that sack, anyway? Flick had no idea, but it had certainly been quite heavy...It had nearly pulled him over when he had first found it.
Yet at Alphaess's next inquiry, Flick's pace slightly stalled. He would probably have noticed a huge white animal aimlessly roaming the halls...but he probably would've turned the other cheek and bolted down the opposite hall. "Your pet? No. I think I would've remembered running into him." Well, it wasn't exactly like Flick would have wanted to run into that creature but he definitely would have seen him in the dark, for a white pelt was quite visible. Did Alphaess seriously let that thing wander around the halls at night alone? Flick felt slightly uncomfortable...what was stopping the creature from sneaking into his room when he was asleep? That would be an awful wake-up.
As they walked down the corridor, Flick's attention was brought to some drawings and paintings along the side walls. Numerous heroes, he imagined. Several of them he recognized, but several of them he did not. And yet, there was Felix the I. In the image, the Hero was standing tall over a slain pile of Hobbes, looking as smug as ever. Flick averted his eyes back over to Alphaess to ignore what he'd seen. He didn't need to see a picture to know how smug and arrogant his dad was, at any rate.

Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - the Guild
❧ "Than better keep your eyes peeled. For your own sake." Alphaess replied plainly, having no sings of joking. It was a joke, sort of, but it still would not be very well in the end. Than the heroine started to lead the way with a slow, tired pace. She didn't even had the time to sit and eat anything today. Now, she was starving as usual. The Guild food. Food was pretty expensive here; being the only place that sold food in the whole Guild. But, oh well, Alphaess was willing to pay for anything delicious. Or perhaps anything that was edible, no matter of taste. Wasn't this the main reason she collected the money? From a trouble-maker merchant, a bandit treasure or from cheating at a blackjack table. Well, she preferred hunting her own food instead, but it was good enough to keep some food in her stomach.
❧ While they passed through the corridor with the drawings and paintings hung on both sides of the corridor. Alphaess paid no attention to the drawings other than briefly looking over to them. But, there was one that caught her eye. It was the one drawing of the legendary Balverine slayer; Scarlet Robe. The mighty heroine from Knothole Glade, the one heroine she have taken as a role model for her whole life. The heroine was holding her legendary battle axe against Balverines in a dark background, which Alphaess have always believed to be Wichwood. Being the most important hero of her hometown, Alphaess have always dream of being a hero as mighty as her.
❧ After a while, they seem to have entered some other corridor that had some group pictures of younger heroes; apprentices. Some of these were new, some were old. Alphaess have quickened her pace when she have realized one certain painting was close. There were many groups of apprentices, all wearing the same hooded apprentice gear. And, soon enough, there it was; the drawing of Alphaess, another heroine and a hero next to her. Though Alphaess' face was covered with a hood in the image, her bright golden eyes were drawn visibly under the hood and red hair, giving her a rather creepy look. The heroine had bright blonde hair and had a soft smile that was visible easily. She was standing right next to Alphaess, between her and the other hero. The other hero, like Alphaess, was seem to be rather uninterested in this all. He had silver eyes and a slender build, unlike most heroes and a pale skin, also with a hood covering his face.
❧ Hoping that Flick would not notice the similarity of hers with the drawing, Alphaess continued on silently, hoping to reach the hall without having to speak about the drawing hung there. She was not in the mood to listen to more teasing and jokes right now. Running her gaze on the drawings, she also spotted another one, this time with more apprentices in one, this time without all the hoods. It was more like a class photo, where normal children of a class would be all together. This time, Alphaess was on the backs, again with the blonde heroine. Actually, she had most her drawings with her. A rather important figure of her past...

◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ As the corridors seemed to go ever on, Flick had grown slightly impatient. Admittedly, he was slightly hungry as well regardless of it being so late at night. He hadn't had much to eat the previous day except for a brief meal in the morning (which had really only consisted of tea and some sort of biscuit that the Oakvale inn offered. He was 'old-fashioned' like that) and the chicken at night which, unfortunately, he had promptly thrown up after teleporting to the guild. Though as a traveler, Flick could go some time without actually eating at all. He had no idea if that was good or just the fact that he'd spent a few years or so after leaving his parents home as a rather poor local, and his stomach had just adjusted to the wait time ever since. He had probably had better luck ever since becoming a merchant of sorts, but the sort of 'hot meal' that allows you to sit down and enjoy your food was still rather rare to Flick. Really, the chicken had been the closest thing Flick had in a while that was considered a real meal.
Flick vaguely heard Alphaess's words at that moment and, instead of cracking a joke, the con-man just gave a small nod. They had entered another corridor now, with many more pictures on the walls. These people seemed younger, though. Fresher. More happy than the heroes he had just seen, who were usually standing over their latest kill and looking smug and arrogant. They often had blood-smeared cheeks and raw expressions that only one who had just been in battle could have. Yet these apprentices generally looked smiley and excited, some looking more stoic than others. Most of them had their usual Apprentice hoods on...Flick couldn't help a slight flush of embarrassment at how young they all were. He was going on twenty-five, which was still young but...a man. Not a child. The oldest one here could be eighteen at the very most but, then again, it didn't seem every day that a merchant would be offered an apprenticeship.
Alphaess's pace seemed to pick up, so Flick followed after. His green gaze kept on the walls, though, and that was when he saw an image of three particular apprentices...two girls and an older boy. They all wore the hoods, but Flick could pick out some details. Red hair, gold eyes...could that be...? The other two apprentices Flick did not recognize. One was a blonde girl, smiling pleasantly but the last one did not seem interested at all...he had silver eyes, which was noticeable enough and a build that was somewhat like Flick's, aside from the fact that he was a lot younger. Flick didn't know this person, but one of them he thought he should. Flick glanced back to Alphaess, but immediately thought against saying anything.
But there was more than just that image. The next image confirmed Flick's assumption: that girl in the photo had to be Alphaess. He wasn't sure who the male was, but maybe a friend or sibling of Alphaess's...yet, it wasn't his problem. Flick had enough old memories of his own to go snooping in Alphaess's past...maybe that was for another time. He didn't think she'd appreciate it too much if he asked, anyway. Flick wouldn't like anyone asking too much about his crappy father and past, so he wouldn't think Alphaess would take to it any better. And, by that, kinda in the manner where she could hit him for asking. So he didn't.
They'd reached the end of the corridor now, and Flick held his arms across his bare chest. "Are we almost there? I'm kinda freezing over here." It was supposed to come out joking, but it didn't. It came off downright serious, because he was kinda chilly. Now he was wishing he'd just stayed in bed...he wouldn't be so tired in the morning if he had, and he still had this physical test to try and ace. Oh, crap. That. Flick had nearly forgotten but now that he'd remembered, his heart had started up again in an anxious manner...

The Alphaess
❦ Hєяσιηє σƒ Kησтнσℓє Gℓα∂є ❦
➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳
Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - the Guild
❧ After passing the drawing of teen-aged Alphaess (which should be around when she was fifteen or fourteen, almost ten years ago but Alphaess could not be certain about the date) and ignoring Flick's comment, the have finally exited the dark corridor with the drawings. Now, they were in a brighter and larger hall, leading to some place with large tables. The dinning hall, where the heroes may enjoy a meal or simply a drink. Though, since it was about midnight (maybe even past midnight) there weren't many people or heroes left around. "We're here." Alphaess said as a reply to his earlier question as she stood close to the entrance.
❧ There were just a small group of younger heroes -not apprentices- chatting, more likely arguing something not quite interesting. Meanwhile, the bartender, who was a middle aged man with a bald hair and weird looking choice of facial hair and a missing left eye (he had lost his eye during something 'heroic' as he tells, but of course, every time he tells it, the story changes, so no one actually know the reason for the missing eye) was cleaning some mugs like usual. The bartender actually rarely left the place, even at midnight, Alphaess was able to get a nice 'snack' for herself here. Probably, being able to find food even at midnight was the only thing she actually enjoyed about the Guild. Food was one thing important to Alphaess...
❧ Alphaess silently walked up to the bar and cleared her throat, loud enough to get the bartender's attention. It took a little more than a few seconds for him to realize what was happening as Alphaess was standing at his blindspot and he was pretty busy with the all cleaning. The eye of the man turned to the heroine and with a slight smile her spoke: "Well, if it isn't Alphaess, the heroine with the unstoppable hunger! My favorite customer, what a pleasant surprise it is." With a chuckle in the end her added; "What would you like for the fine meal?" Alphaess with a grin, took a small pocket of coins that was hung on her belt and put it on the bar. "I can say I'm starving, hope you have enough food for me." She spoke while sliding the pocket towards him. The bartender slowly grabbed the pocket and added; "Of course, I'm always up for a good challenge."
❧ With the bartender now trying to prepare something for Alphaess, there was no reason to stand there. Alphaess quickly took a seat in a silent corner of the large tables in the center of the hall. Than she simply started to wait for the certainly deserved meal. Placing her arms on the table, Alphaess was trying to push back the thought of being stuck in the Guild. Once again. Now, she had even lost her loyal white companion, she felt a little... lonely. This was a strange feeling she had, she never felt in a such way when she was alone. She did enjoyed the silence and the comfort of being alone; otherwise, why would she choose to stay alone in a dark woodland?
❧ But being back here... it felt strange. Fortunately it was rather late for other heroes to be messing around, like her last visit here two or three days ago for the quest card. Thinking about it, Alphaess probably also had to redeem her rewards for the card too. She had gone through much for that mission, haven't she? Not even counting the fact that she had came across this annoying merchant, getting minor wounds and having to go through a bandit camp... Tomorrow morning, after this 'test' she would be out and free once again. No more uncomfortable Guild beds or the angry Guildmaster's creeping glare... For a second, Alphaess was actually zoned out for a second, her eyes were resting down on her brown gloves that were actually looking pretty dirty.

◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ The place was pretty empty for the most part, considering it was an hour or so past midnight at this point. They were now in a slightly better lit hall that was far more expansive, and there was plenty of places with some large tables. Flick could only assume this was the dining hall. That was all well and fine, of course, but he still did not know in the slightest how to get back to his own bed...oh well. This was good enough for now, and it seemed to be slightly warmer than the cold corridors they had just walked down. The place was not exactly empty, however. There was a group of younger heroes chatting in the distance and Flick suddenly felt far more self conscious about his current attire. He resisted the natural urge to cover himself, though. His gaze lingered momentarily on the bartender; a man with a bald head and strange facial hair, as well as missing his left eye...Flick stole a glance over in Alphaess's direction briefly, but apparently thought against asking anything.
When Alphaess walked up to the bartender and caught his attention, Flick came to sit at one of the closer tables and merely listen to the conversation..he stayed on the opposite side though as not to draw attention and, most certainly, not to gain the young heroes' attentions in the distance. He wasn't even sure how many people knew of him being here, and a shirtless tradesman hanging about in the dining hall was probably pretty weird. He busied himself with putting his arms on the table and his chin upon his hand, unable to stop himself from glancing in Alphaess's direction when she came to sit at the opposite table to him, so that his back was facing her.
The pictures were still somewhat on Flick's mind...he knew that the one apprentice had most certainly been Alphaess. The red hair and the eyes were unmistakeable, yet there was also something to do with the other apprentice. The male one, with the gray eyes...probably a close friend of her's, or her brother. But Alphaess had never mentioned a sibling (well, even if he was still alive she probably wouldn't mention it to him) maybe for personal reasons.
After a moment of sitting here alone and in silence, Flick suddenly turned so that he was facing Alphaess and he drew his knees up on the chair so that the good majority of his torso would be covered. He folded his arms overtop and raised an eyebrow at Alphaess, looking briefly in the direction of the other Heroes. "Who're they? Do people usually hang around here at midnight...?" His voice betrayed his curiosity, he was sure. There was actually plenty of other things Flick wanted to ask, too, especially like: 'How the hell am I supposed to do this test?' He was still unsure what it might consist of...but he was fearing it was something along the lines of sword fighting and even archery. That was not going to be good for Flick.

The Alphaess

➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳
Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - the Guild
❧ With Flick's words, Alphaess was snapped out of her thoughts. Trying not to let him notice her shot zoning out, Alphaess quickly tried to answer his question with her usual cold manner. "Young heroes..." Alphaess had said this silently, while keeping her golden gaze over the small group of heroes laughing. "They are just fresh-blood, the ones haven't seen the darker side of the Guild... missions." The missions part was added afterwards in an attempt to cover her real thought about the Guild. These heroes were pretty much like children in her eyes. Being barely at the age of eighteen, these heroes have just 'graduated' and gained their freedom to roam Albion as they wish. Of course, these new heroes were still unknown and had no fame or real experience and most of them were complete fools.
❧ A little after, a barmaid finally served the food Alphaess wanted. It was a large plate of meat and some vegetables and a mug of beer like usual. Though the plate was larger than a small food tray, made for the extra-large sized heroes' lunches, Alphaess was still a little... Unpleased with the meal. She was expecting something... larger. "Hm, Guild plates have gotten smaller... How disappointing." Alphaess murmured after the barmaid have left, mostly for Flick to hear.
❧ Than, quickly, Alphaess started to eat her meal; without caring to actually use a fork or some other civilized way to consume the meat. Only taking her dirty gloves off to prevent accidentally getting horrible-tasting Hobbe blood over the fine piece of meat. In around five minutes, Alphaess have almost finished the half of the cooked meat, leaving the vegetables untouched. It was not quite a good view to see probably. But who cares as long as she was able to get that thing into her stomach.
❧ Alphaess's 'feast' was interrupted a while later by a familiar voice; "Isn't that the Balverine Slayer" Quickly Alphaess turned her head to the direction the voice was heard, swallowing the piece of meat afterwards. There was someone standing tall at one of the dark entrances, it was hard to see who it was, but from the voice it was sure a male that was taller than Flick but did not seem to be very bulky at all. But, Alphaess was already able to identify the hero.
❧ With the tall man walking into the stronger light of the hall, his face and clothing were easily seen now. He was a quite tall and slender man with a very pale white skin and strange dark sea green eyes that had a tint of white. His white clothing was looking pretty neat and clean. Like Alphaess, he carried some symbol that appeared to look like a crescent moon on his shoulder plates. He had a pretty serious look on his face as he approached the table Alphaess was sitting at, but than, all of a sudden it all turned into a soft smile. "I didn't knew you actually visited the place." He said in a joking voice. "Yeah... Hello to you too Silvermoon." Alphaess replied with her golden eyes up on the tall hero, Sivermoon.
❧ "Ah, bitter as usual." Silvermoon said without letting his smile fade away. He was actually a pretty nice person, and it was a mystery why he actually acted nice towards Alphaess. He was probably the only hero that did not wanted to point pointy things at Alphaess and yell her to stay away. She was seen as a monster, a feral beast by most. But Silvermoon was different. He was naturally warmblooded and tender, which Alphaess thought was annoying at times. At most to be honest. But still, even that they got into small fights, Silvermoon was the thing she had closest to a real 'friend'.
❧ Shortly after, Silvermoon took a seat, not too close to Alphaess while she was eating. That would be a stupid thing to do even for him. "Where have you been all the time? The Guildmaster was quite raged after your last 'visit'. The one time you let your friend pin down one of the heroes, remember?" Silvermoon continued without letting any signs of rage in his voice. Alphaess was too busy (and careless) to answer the question as she was continuing to eat her meat. Than for a second, his attention went on Flick as he noticed him. For a second, he seem to be unable to think what to say, having a shirtless stranger in front of him. It was indeed strange, as there were some rules. And Silvermoon hated when rules were broken. "Greetings, I believe you are with Alphaess, right? I am Silvermoon, as you have just heard from her..." He spoke with a clear voice, looking over to Flick. He did not directly asked for his name, no that would be too rude for him, but hoped he would tell it by his own instead.

◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ To Alphaess's words, Flick looked over the group of young heroes once more with an odd expression, but did not question her words. They were 'fresh-blood' as Alphaess put it and, to Flick, they actually looked to be having quite a lot of fun. Chatting to one another, arguing over non-important things. Alphaess's words seemed rather bitter though, as she had paused almost intentionally upon the word 'missions'. Flick frowned slightly, but then averted his gaze. He didn't exactly want to see him looking, nor did he want to gain more attention than he already had. Being humiliated enough for today, Flick had his fair share of unwanted attention...Flick momentarily busied himself with absently fiddling with a coin from his pocket, considering it was the only thing he had on him at this point. The coin had a smooth golden surface, which glimmered when Flick would absently turn it over to its opposite side.
He continued to do so by the time that the barmaid had served Alphaess her food, absently frowning at her comment. Smaller? It seemed like quite a large tray...but then again, he would assume that most heroes ate a lot. A good amount of them were quite large and bulky in comparison to Flick. Literally; they could probably eat Flick's bodyweight in food in the timespan of a day. That was rather a frightening thought...He did not respond, though, as he figured he may as well not bother her while she was eating and instead kept up his focus with the coin.
However, upon Flick tossing it into the air he was startled to hear the words: Isn't that the Balverine Slayer? and, promptly, Flick nearly messed up in catching his coin. He caught it quickly in his left-hand (despite him being right-handed) and immediately returned the coin back into his right pocket, glancing over in a startled manner at who had just arrived. Much to Flick's surprise, it was another Hero. This one seemed older than the young heroes chattering away in the distance, who was taller than Flick himself but not as bulky as the majority of the Heroes here...upon the man walking into the more lit area of the hall Flick could better pick out details. He had paler skin with green eyes which, unlike Flick's, seemed to have a tint of white, if that was even possible. He seemed pretty serious as he approached but, once he reached them, his expression broke into a smile. Flick caught the name, though: Silvermoon.
Immediately, Flick turned his back and attempted to retrain his focus back on the table. He caught onto the conversation though, because it was nearly impossible to ignore. Flick felt rather awkward being in the middle of someone else's conversation and being quite a stranger here, especially since he wasn't fully dressed...but he did catch certain words that spiked his attention like the particular sentence: The Guildmaster was quite raged after your last 'visit'... Which, of course, only confirmed Flick's assumption that Alphaess did not feel comfortable here in the guild. Flick drummed his fingers absently upon the hard wood of the table and attempted to redraw his focus elsewhere but, soon, the male hero's attention drew to Flick.
"Greetings. I believe you are with Alphaess, right? I am Silvermoon, as you just heard from her..." That seemed almost like a hint for Flick to introduce himself. A little embarrassed, Flick turned back to look at the Hero and tried not to seem too uncomfortable due to his current situation. "Ah...Fel--Flick. Name's Flick. You two know each other...?" This seemed more like a change for Flick to try and turn the conversation back towards Alphaess and not linger too long on himself. It could've been a selfless act but, for Flick, it was really just him trying to avoid some of the awkwardness.

The Alphaess
❦ Hєяσιηє σƒ Kησтнσℓє Gℓα∂є ❦

Balverine hunter - Twenty-four years - the Guild
❧ Silvermoon nodded slightly with a smile on his face. "Who doesn't know the mighty Balverine-slayer, trouble-maker heroine?" He said with a slight chuckle at the end. Meanwhile, Alphaess didn't even bothered to get her attention off her, now almost finished plate of food when the question was asked. Seeing Alphaess wasn't paying much attention to him, like usual, Silvermoon's attention was returned back to Flick after a brief look at Alphaess while eating. If she wasn't going to have a proper talk with him, he would make her talk. What a perfect time to play it was now.
❧ Though it was past midnight, Silvermoon haven't been looking tired, not even the slightest bit at all. He appeared to be refreshed. He was more the kind to be more active at night as his name suggested, a nocturnal hero he was. He preferred wondering around when the moon was high. He was as silent as a phantom in the darkness, a trait shared with the Balverine slayer heroine. They had similarities, not physical but their way of fight and... A wolf-like heroine and a hero that symbolized moon... What a perfect match it was. But of course not in any romantic way. At least not for Alphaess.
❧ "It's always been that hard travelling with the old, brutal Alphaess." He said, mostly to Flick, hoping to catch Alphaess's attention once again. Her have only received a silent glare from the heroine that was still eating. "She have been like this back at her apprentice-hood too..." Silvermoon whispered this time, leaning a little towards the table to get a little closer to Flick to let him hear better. His arms were resting on the table as he was sitting a little bit away form Alphaess. This time, Alphaess ceased eating as she was still able to hear. "Doesn't the moon goddess have something better to do around?" Alphaess growled silently, having a rather angry look on her face.
❧ Silvermoon smiled even more upon her comment. "These were the words of love I expected from you." He said once again in a joking mood. "Still haven't spoken about your adventures, my dear Alphaess" He continued in a rather flirtatious way, attempting to annoy Alphaess once again. Alphaess murmured something under her breath while she shoved the last bits of food into her mouth. "Yeah... Keep dreaming Silver." Alphaess pushed the now empty plate away from her than stood up. She was going to get more food from the bartender. And so, the heroine quickly moved away from the table and returned back to the place the one-eyed bartender was standing.
❧ Silvermoon watched Alphaess for a second until she reached the bar, than turned his attention back on Flick. Since she was gone, perhaps he could have a bit more manly chat with this Flick guy. "So, new in the Guild I believe." He said, pointing at him with a finger, mostly talking about him wandering around shirtless at midnight. "If I were you, I would... check my back often with Alphaess around." He said with a silent laugh, than added afterwards; "You know, Knothole Glade women... Dangerous and feisty..."
