❦ The Basics ❦ ❧ Lᴇɢᴀʟ Nᴀᴍᴇ﹕ Felix "Flick" Wolfsbain
❧ Hᴇʀᴏ Nᴀᴍᴇ﹕ N/A
❧ Gᴇɴᴅᴇʀ﹕ Male
❧ Aɢᴇ﹕ Twenty-four
❧ Sᴇxᴜᴀʟɪᴛʏ﹕ Heterosexual
❧ Oᴄᴄᴜᴘᴀᴛɪᴏɴ﹕ Writer/Traveling Merchant
❧ Aʟɪɢɴᴍᴇɴᴛ﹕ Generally whatever he feels like. He's not an evil person but he is technically a con-man and a lot of his actions can be considered...questionable. He's also quite selfish but would never do something evil purely for the intention of being cruel.
❦ On The Outside ❦ ❧ Hᴇɪɢʜᴛ﹕ 6"2
❧ Eʏᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ﹕ Greenish/hazel.
❧ Bᴏᴅʏ Bᴜɪʟᴅ﹕ Ectomorph
❧ Hᴀɪʀ﹕ Cropped fairly short but, nonetheless, can get a little shaggy at times. Light brown/blonde in colour.
❧ Sᴄᴀʀs/Exᴛʀᴀ﹕ A slight white nick on the outside of his bottom lip from an incident with a rock when he was two.
❧ Tᴀᴛᴛᴏᴏᴇs﹕ Tattoos are too intimidating for him.
❧ Cʟᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ﹕ Generally easy items to wear, such as his somewhat baggy beige shirt and darker vest. Leather boots and, generally, anything that fits. He's not a fighter, so armor is generally not an option. He also often carries a shawl or hood with him, just for those times when it might be needed.
❦ Weaponry ❦ ❧ Mᴇʟᴇᴇ Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ ﹕ A dagger, if it comes to that. He always has one handy while doing his 'trips'.
❧ Rᴀɴɢᴇᴅ Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ﹕ Generally, he does not have a ranged weapon but will huck rocks at people if needed.
❧ Aᴜɢᴍᴇɴᴛs ﹕ None.
❧ Aʀᴍᴏʀ ﹕ None.
❧ Wɪʟʟ Usᴀɢᴇ﹕ Zero to none.
❧ Fɪɢʜᴛɪɴɢ Tᴇᴄʜɴɪϙᴜᴇ﹕ Running and hiding. In no way is Flick actually a fighter. Cowardly, it may be, but he'd rather avoid conflict when it came to it. He's actually pretty fast when it comes to it, luckily, and has had to climb a few trees in his time to escape the clutches of whatever evil lurks in Albion.
❧ Cʟᴀss﹕ Nothing, but he'd probably aim more towards skill. [His strength is practically non-existant anyway.]
❧ Pᴇᴛs ᴀɴᴅ Oᴛʜᴇʀ﹕ He once had a pet rock but it doesn't exactly help him in the field of battle. And he isn't exactly sure where it is at the moment...
Personality﹕ Sarcastic, manipulative, intelligent, cowardly, selfish
Not only is Flick a conman of sorts, but he also has the witty temperament and quick-abled tongue to match it. He's an ambitious man in the sense that he strives one day to be the richest man in Albion. Flick generally cares for those very close to him but he can be a bit selfish at times. After all, there isn't a lot of family he has left to care about. He is able to manipulate others with what he sees as charming acts and can actually get away with a lot. That's how he's kept himself afloat for so long climbing the 'rankings' in Albion, even if it means using someone else's face as a rung. Heroic? Hardly. Flick would never outright hurt someone for the fun of it but he does generally hold himself in higher regards than others...
Witty, joking, immature, quick-thinking, improviser
Flick has a habit of...never taking anything seriously. He is ambitious of course, and money is really the only thing that holds a lot of value to him. He often never addresses someone by their real name and rather gives people what he calls 'charming nicknames'. When it comes to a con or a trade he is quick thinking and can improvise on the spot (even if that means stealing the money and bolting). It would help for Flick to have a sense of charisma for once but, until he does, he's about as low-bellied as the rest of the merchants in Albion.
History﹕ Flick's first name isn't just Felix Wolfsbain, but Felix Wolfsbain the II. He's the son of the renowned Felix Wolfsbain the I, the great Guild Hero, Hobbeslayer, Banditkiller, and all the other fancy titles that could possibly be awarded to a Hero. Flick grew up in Oakvale as an only child and frequently only his mother was around as company. Occasionally his father would be, too, but it would only be short spurts at a time. After all, what sort of father could be seen with the pitiful disappointment that Flick was turning to be? Needless to say, Flick wasn't a bad kid. He never had been. The worst he had done was try to eat a rock when he was two, and received a white scar on his lower lip because of it. He was actually generally pretty quiet but his first 'bad deed' was stealing a box of sweets from the little old lady down in Bowerstone market...word got around pretty quickly that Felix's son was simply a lost cause and was nothing but trouble. In truth, Flick would have done anything at that point to get his father's attention. Yet all he got: a firm stare and a 'don't do it again'. Things escalated from there and they took a pretty sour turn on Flick's tenth birthday. Since the situation with the stolen box of sweets, Flick had kept up with his 'bad kid' debonair but they had just gotten worse. He went too far, and attempted a pickpocket from one of the Oakvale guards. He was busted, chastised and punished. But that was not the worst part for Flick. The worst part was the fact that his father had not looked him in the eye. Not once. He had simply given the slightest shake of his head, and turned away. Flick left Oakvale around the age of seventeen or so, and spent his first few years merely leaning from job to job (a blacksmith's apprentice at one point, a failed writer, amongst many others) until Flick came across something he was actually good at. Lying, conning, and scamming people out of their money. It did not seem a truly honest way to live, but Flick assured himself he was just a poor kid in need of a ways to get by. He probably wouldn't have gotten into it had he known it was going to turn out to be a life-deal...

❦ Weaponry ❦❧ Mᴇʟᴇᴇ Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ ﹕ A pair of silver twin swords.
❧ Rᴀɴɢᴇᴅ Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ﹕ A black longbow there are a few faint inscriptions over it.
❧ Aᴜɢᴍᴇɴᴛs ﹕ Both of her weapons have Silver Augments, which effects Balverines and Undead the best.
❧ Aʀᴍᴏʀ ﹕ Mostly light armor to gain her speed and flexibility. Her armor is mostly consist of black and brown with some some red on it. Full suit.
❧ Wɪʟʟ Usᴀɢᴇ﹕ Alphaess does know a lot of spells. She uses all three types (Attack, Physical, surround) balanced. Her most favored spells are; Slow time, Drain Life(Sometimes Heal Life) and Assassin Rush.
❧ Fɪɢʜᴛɪɴɢ Tᴇᴄʜɴɪϙᴜᴇ﹕ Alphaess's fighting style mostly reassemble a Balverine's hit and run techniques. She may be seen a lot jumping up high like a Balverine, using Will power to propel herself higher than usual and landing behind her enemy to attack. She uses hit an run techniques a lot. She is fast with her twin swords and most of her attack require skill and speed more than strength.
❧ Cʟᴀss﹕ Mostly Skill though her Will abilities are also impressive.
❧ Pᴇᴛs ᴀɴᴅ Oᴛʜᴇʀ﹕ Alphaess is accompanied by a white Balverine that is smaller than it's species in size but not in lethality. It always wears a dark brown-blackish leather leash around the neck. Though the creature itself isn't fully tamed or under control as it often doesn't listen to her or do what it wants. Alphaess never does anything that could anger it as it sometimes even try to attack or bite her. Most of the time, when not in battle the two try not to interact with each other. Although the creature often act protective over Alphaess when someone is around or she is in danger.
Full reference sheet.
Personality﹕Sarcastic, bitter, reckless, cold, fighter
This young heroine have the heart of a rouge. Alphaess is extremely bitter and sarcastic, even rude at times. She like silence but when she is around people that she likes, she speaks a lot and messes with the person she likes. She could be reckless and care-free at times. Some say that she has a twisted mind but that is not so true, she just likes having fun in different ways. She's a bit cruel and rough, since she lived by herself after her brother's death. Alphaess like to act like an animal, doing what she wants and not caring for ethics. Though she does tend to keep herself from harming and killing others as she is not mindless, rabid animal she appears to be on the outside. She is pretty cunning and sometimes steal from others for fun. She likes getting into fights a lot.
Fearless, fierce, understanding, intelligent, strong-willed
Though Alphaess is actually pretty hard to get along with, inside she is an understanding and protective heroine. There is kindness in her cold heart. She is brave, almost fearless and could do anything without fear. She does not fear death and even likes playing with death, enjoying danger. Alphaess is pretty clever and quick thinking, if she is stuck in a bad situation, she always can think of a way out using her mind. Once she sets up her mind, it's hard to get that thing off her mind.
History﹕The Alphaess have been born in Knothole Glade. The only family she knew was his brother who was a few years older than her. Alphaess and her brother were pretty much the same in personality, while her brother being sllightly overprotective over her. They lived in a small, abandoned house behind the large walls that protected the village. They had no money or someone to take care of them, so they worked. Her brother did heavy working for money to feed his little sister, while Alphaess did what she can to help him. Her brother have always been her hero in her eyes. As everyone knows, Knothole Glade is were the Balverines roam the most, other than Darkwood. And so, Alphaess and his brother wanted to be Balverine hunters. They always secretly watched the hunters do their work in amaze. Once they were both old enough, they did joined the hunter training. At first, everything was okay, they had training together and so. Alphaess was having a hard time keeping up with her brother who had been born to be a hunter. While she was weaker and had less courage. One day, during a Balverine attack, her brother have fallen trying to fend off the white Balverine feared by many and the Alpha of it's pack. Alphaess always blamed herself. After this accident she became silent and cold and continued training by herself to overcome her fears in become as good as her brother was. And so, she went into the woods all by herself to slay the Balverine who took her brother. She fought bravely for a girl of the age and slaughtered many balverines. But she realized that how close she was to Balverines. She stared to understand them when she looked down at the white Balverine who looked back at her as she was about to kill it. Alphaess returned back to the village after her victory and the tale of the little girl's bravery have been spread all around the town. Her story have been told among with Scarlet Robe's who also slayed Balverines as a little girl with no weapon. A few moths later. A hero of the Guild had came to Knothole Glade for some mission, heard about the story of this girl's. Once he met Alphaess, he saw her talent and took her with him when he returned. So Alphaess became a heroine, choosing the Balverine who took her brother's name as her hero name. Though she did not liked obeying the rules much and often got trouble during her training. Once the training was over she left the Guild to live her life. Although, she sometimes return to check around and get missions when she is bored.

The Beast known as the Heroine
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
【 age twenty four - with n/a - location the guild - crush none 】
❧ the Heroes Guild, the sanctuary where the children of all ages were trained to be great Heroes, to be the ones to protect the innocents all over Albion and spread fear into the hearts of evil. Or perhaps to become the most powerful evil that Albion have yet to seen. Things have been like this for years and years, even the greatest Heroes have passed away, and now, a new generation was ready to take the role of protecting Albion from their ancestors. Some are kind-hearted and pure angelic, while some were demonic and cruel, the ones that enjoyed sadistic acts and torture of innocents. But there were also the ones that stayed neutral, not falling into either sides, staying right on the thin line in-between light and darkness.
❧ Our Hero, or more accurately the Heroine was one of those. She never strayed too far from light, but never truly become one with it either. She was, indeed, one that could call a rouge. One that had less concern about others. She only fallowed one rule; her own. It was only and only her codex that she would obey to. Free-willed and hard to accept others' authorities, it made the Heroine be rather unpopular around others of her kind. Or perhaps infamous. But, she did not care about it. The rumors about her was nothing she would even pay attention to. The criticism about her personality? She didn't give a damn. Yes. Maybe villagers were afraid upon seeing her, but she had no intentions on changing her looks either. Her clothing served her just fine. It was, actually something she enjoyed. Being feared. A good feeling for her. That way, she did not had to listen to any babbling about her deeds or anything else, either.
❧ The large map-room was quite silent, the silence was only disturbed by a few apprentices and two Heroes, talking at one side. They seemed to be having an enthusiastic talk about some guest and the increase in the frequency of some Darkwood creatures. Hobbes, Nymphs, Trolls... Balverines. One of the male Heroes were slightly leaning to the large map, the map that showed every corner of Albion, telling some sort of 'story' about one of his victories. This had last until there was something distracted them from their small chat and the map. A tall, lean figure had entered the scene from the large wooden gates. As the gate closed after the figure, the eyes of the apprentices and the Heroes turned towards this person. As the figure walked closer to the map-table, having a slow and un-rushed rhythm in her footsteps, her features were more visible. This particular figure was dressed in some sort of armor, though compared to most Heroes, would be considered as light armor. Though there was a black hood that covered most of her face and body, it was easy to see that this person was, indeed, a female.
❧ This particular 'Heroine' had worn an attire that was suitable for a... Hero with a darker preference. Dark and secretive. Despite being a female, her body was fairly muscled and she was taller than some, standing roughly around six feet, only missing an inch or two. This, was one reason that gave her a fearsome look. Covering her chest and shoulders and stopping a little above her navel to expose the edges of a brown clothing that was worn inside that also was unable to cover her fully, and her naked waist, was the chest-piece of her plate armor. Despite being made from a shinny silver metal, it was no longer shining, as it was worn out and had dirt from various battles that covered it. Along with it, there were many scratches upon the metal surface, each probably also caused during battles. This chestplate, protected her upper-body from any incoming blows and alike. At the center, a particular shape that was known as the Heroine's symbol decorated the plate armor: the skull of a balverine. On her shoulders, a pure black cloak was hung, the hood currently covering the Heroine's face. It covered all of her back and hid her right arm from view, thought it wasn't long; it was barely able to reach her kneecaps. Right over her right upper arm, a little below the shoulder, was a brown leather armband. It was slightly torn at the sides, but, the unmistakable shape upon it was clearly visible, the symbol that was also placed at the middle of her chestplate. The hands were covered with black leather gauntlets, that the fingertips of the gauntlets were shaped as they hidden claws. And, covering the back of her hands and arms, were metal arm guards that went up until her elbow
On the bottom were her brown leggings, and above them was a coarse, leather belt hung tightly. There, right from the black belt hung various objects; pouches, bags, a relatively large dagger, a white colored horn and a sheath. Her sword was, however, now hidden from any curious eyes, only the cold black hilt decorated with a glimpse of silver was visible. Below the belt, there were pieces of her plate armor hanging from her two sides, going down her thighs. There were a pair of black leather boots worn on her feet, presumably made from the exact same material the gauntlets were made. From her ankles to her knees, an old pair of metal leg guards were placed on the front. These were seemingly older and worn out compared to the rest of her armor. There were various scratches upon them; some suspiciously resembling clawmarks. Finishing her looks, were the leather straps tied on her left thigh, each carrying four smaller, silvery blades; two on the front, two on the back.
❧ The Heroine had reached in a leisurely manner in a matter of seconds. Both Heroes and the apprentices were eyeing the Heroine with suspicion. Meanwhile, the Heroine seemed to have more interest in the map table, simply ignoring the presence of the small group as she stood a little sides away from them to inspect whatever was on the table. The Heroine's upper face was fully blocked by her black hood, only the glimpse of... golden color of her eyes and a tint of red visible underneath. The apprentices whispered something back and forth, keeping their eyes on the Heroine as she continued to avert her gaze from the others and glance down at what she came for... quest cards. Everyone around knew this particular Heroine didn't visited the Guild much anymore. As the second Heroine reached forwards and scooped up one of the the cards lying on the table off, one of the two male Heroes decided to speak; "Mighty Avo, isn't that a face you wouldn't expect to see around the Guild. Everyone thought you have forgotten the way back here." The Hero offered a sly smile as he slightly moved towards the Heroine. The Heroine, however, paid no heed for this comment and refused to avert her eyes from the quest card she held in her one hand, the other resting on her side in a relaxed manner.
❧ Having no response from the Heroine, the Hero gave the slightest frown and looked back at his companion. But, the Hero wasn't going the let the heroine get away that easily. "Well, it's surprising that the famous--or should I say infamous Heroine, the Alphaess had finally decided to leave her rabid friends and show the courage to return." The Hero went on once more, this time in a more aggressive manner. No one here could say that they liked this Heroine, known as the Alphaess. She was simply the one that preferred 'one woman operations', a lone huntress, that what she was. A rouge to some. At times. A traitor? Maybe... but this was something she did not enjoyed to be called. A coward that hid behind her friends? No. That was nothing close to Alphaess. A deep growl of anger came from the Heroine, clearly a sound from a beast. But, she did not said anything, nor did anything. Without even turning her gaze to the Hero, a bright and scaring, almost wolf-like grin appeared on her face. It was the most unexpected, but Alphaess replied with a calm voice: "You're really mistaken; I wouldn't dare leave them far behind."
❧ Just as the Heroine said that, she was slowly lowering her hand that was still gripping on to the quest card and placed it into the small bag just as she had finished. Alphaess never had the habit of reading the quest cards very carefully. Just the location and basic information was enough for her. After, while the Hero was still unable what she had meant, Alphaess jerked her head away from the table and looked at the direction she had entered and did something: she clicked her tongue loudly, in a manner an animal trainer would do. The Hero had his eyes narrowed and took a step away from the table. He had no idea what was happening, until it happened. Something run inside through the wooden gates, the white flurry approached the table in a haste, lurching towards the small group. No one could even understand, until the Hero, who had just tried to insult Alphaess had been pinned down under the massive strength of the creature.
❧ The creature was... a balverine. The beast feared among the people of Albion. And, not even the normal, average sized mouse-grey or brown variations; this beast was pure white. Balverines were feral and deadly beasts, but white ones were known as the most dangerous ones of these sharp fanged canines. Exceeding the size of a normal balverine, those white creatures could be described with two words: extremely deadly. The balverine now had the Hero pinned down on the ground, the Hero's hand could not reach to draw any weapons. He was caught by surprise, as it was quite hard to predict a large, white beast pin you down in a matter of seconds. The bright, blood red colored, wolf-like eyes were locked down on the man, as the hot predator breath was hitting the Hero's face, but, refrained from going for a bite, and simply stood there with a low growl coming from it and keeping the man on the ground. The Heroes and the apprentices, however, were startled, after the first shock, the younger ones had backed away, now standing behind the other male Hero. Meanwhile, Alphaess haven't even moved from the stop she was standing at. Now, her grin have gotten more intense and... pleasant.
❧ Although, this didn't lasted long. As the guards that were meant to be protecting the Guild had soon noticed the commotion and arrived the area quickly, holding their swords in hand in an offensive manner. As soon as they had circled the area, Alphaess knew she had to make this stop. That wasn't fair. She had just started to have fun. But, anyway, the glares that guards had shot in the Heroine's direction was enough to make her understand the playtime was over. Sighing silently in an irritated way (without losing her grin of course) Alphaess took a step towards the white creature boldly. Than, she made a quick hand gesture, and almost instantaneously, the balverine gave a fierce growl down at the Hero, whom was still stuck underneath the massive size of the beast. Than, despite being quite 'unhappy' about the order, the beast obeyed, as it was... well-tamed. Indeed, the creature was somewhat tamed. There, the symbol of this was on its neck; a black collar, made from leather, and had a very similar texture that of Alphaess's belt. There was something metal hanging from it, though it was near impossible to actually see what it was.
❧ With another quick gesture, Alphaess called the beast close. Meanwhile, the area was still filled with a few guards, keeping a careful eye on both the beast and the Heroine. The Hero was able to pull himself on his feet, thoroughly shocked about what had happened, he had backed away towards the other Hero. There were some other apprentices now, curious about the current commotion in the map-room. Though, Alphaess did not said a word, nor seemed to be interested in any of those people. No one spoke either, how could they after what they had just witnessed? The balverine was now standing at the back of Alphaess, standing very close that would normally be enough make someone feel... jumpy. But not Alphaess. After all, it was her only companion. Yes. The balverine was her friend. Her companion. And it obeyed her commands... most of the time. There were, of course, some competition for dominance between two 'Alphas'. The white balverine is the natural leader of the pack. The strongest and largest... but not as strong or dominant as the beast-like Heroine. After all, she wasn't called the Alphaess for no reason.
❧ Casually, Alphaess reached down to her belt, quickly taking something in her palm and raised it up, as it was now right in front of her in he air. It was a Guild seal. One thing that all Heroes had. A handy gadget in Alphaess's opinion. Although, it seemed as her seal was... damaged. Heavily if one mus admit. The scratches were pretty deep and visible. It would be a miracle if that thing worked properly, but, it worked, proven when Alphaess had lightly touched it, it gave a soft and pleasing blue light. The seal glowed brightly, as the Heroine activated it and got read for a teleportation. Than, in the time of a blink, there was a blue glowing circle around both Alphaess and her companion. The balverine stood tall and still behind the Heroine, giving a silent huff, but nothing else. It didn't took long for the light to get brighter, until it fully surrounded both figures. In a split second, the light died down and... both were gone. Faded away to their mission destination...

◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ Flick was not having a good day.
However, things had started out peachy. Just another trade in which Flick was certain meant 'big bucks'. Sure, making a fake potion with colouring and saying it was a potion that could cure headaches was probably dishonest...but money was money, afterall. Flick knew very well that to make your way in the Albion trade you might have to use someone else's face as a rung sometimes. The only downside to this particular trade was that he had to cross the least desirable place in Albion possible. Darkwood.
Darkwood was a dark and twisted forest that encompassed a very large chunk of southern Albion and, unfortunately, was a major trade route. The place was simply crawling with nasty things like trolls, balverines and hobbes. Worst of all, it was a select place for bandits to hide out and jump out on unsuspecting merchants...like Flick himself. There was a safe area in Darkwood but Flick still had to make it through the heat of things to get there first.
It was only about five minutes into Darkwood when Flick started to feel drained. His boots would occasionally get stuck in the sticky, revolting mud and there seemed to be a cloud of gnats that simply refused to leave him alone. His feet made squelching noises wherever he walked and he was actually in the drier part of the swamp. Go figure.
"Bugger off!" Flick snapped, waving his hand above his head to swat away at the gnats. It worked but only for perhaps a few seconds. With a pleasant buzz the black bugs came back, nipping the area around Flick's shoulders and the back of his neck. Flick gave an angry huff and hoisted his traveling back over his shoulders to shield his upper back and neck. If the bandits did not get him, surely the gnats would eat him alive. How dignified.
Worst of all, there seemed to be the strange feeling of being...followed? Flick occasionally would look over his shoulder suspiciously but the more he did so the more aware he became that he was getting off-track. He lifted his foot to take another miserable step and, quite suddenly, he found his foot was stuck. In the mud. In the middle of Darkwood.
And he wasn't alone anymore. There was the sound of a deep a low growling in the bushes...Flick swallowed nervously, glancing in the direction of the brushes. "Ehr...hello?"

The Alphaess
❦ Hєяσιηє σƒ Kησтнσℓє Gℓα∂є ❦
❧Darkwood... The weather, darkness, the howls of the Balverine... Always reminded Alphaess of home. That was why she enjoyed being in Darkwood that much. It was a haunting place full of things that would chomp off your head just for fun. Or for dessert. But not for the huntress herself. Darkwood was one of the places of Albion she spent time the most. Alphaess was pretty much comfortable in the environment and knew how to bend the environment in her favor. As the blue sparkles that surrounded her and her companion, she could finally see the area. As soon as they arrived, the Balverine let out a loud, blood-freezing howl, telling other Balverines that the mighty White Balverine have arrived. White Balverines were one of the rarest of it's kind and they only -naturally- lived in depths of Witchwood. The beast raised it's head to sniff the air, standing up on it's hind legs. While Alphaess checked the Quest card she have taken form the Guild. Whenever it was a mission that took place in places such as here, Alphaess was always the one that first volunteered. If she wasn't, she would actually use some 'friendly talk' with the other hero or heroine, which mostly ended in the hero giving up the Quest card after the little talk they would have with the friendly white Balverine who would be snarling at their face.
It was an easy mission, rescuing and escorting some merchants that have dared to venture into these cursed woods. Why would they even try to enter the woods, knowing there is a little chance of survival? For money? Alphaess never could understand them. She wasn't the one that had much money but she didn't needed much anyway. She never actually bought anything from the merchants. Not even food as she preferred hunting down her meal more. As Alphaess run her eyes on the card for a few seconds than turned her gaze off the card to scan the area. Letting the inner animal take over she also sniffed the air silently. Alphaess was not quite a normal heroine that swung her swords at everything on sight and just wandered around randomly to find the target. No, she would rather stalk it down using her skills without the help of her Guild Seal. Pulling her hood even more, she gestured at the Balverine. AS the creature bolted off, she also did the same behind it.

◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ Flick was starting to believe that maybe, just maybe, he'd made the wrong decision in coming to Darkwood. It was just a few pieces of gold, was it really worth risking his life? Flick glanced down at his foot that, at this point, had sunken up to his knee in mud. He gritted his teeth sharply and gave a wicked tug but to no avail. Unfortunately, what Flick had in brains he lacked in muscle. His foot remained stuck. How absolutely miserable. Flick glanced over his shoulder in an attempt to keep whatever was lurking in the woods at bay...but, to his surprise, it seemed to have vanished. Had it been scared off by him? Yet that was when Flick heard it: a low and blood-curdling howl that emanated from the far end of Darkwood. A cold feeling sunk into Flick's chest. He had never actually seen a Balverine up close but he knew what they sounded like. He'd heard them at night sometimes in inns...wolvish, slavering beasts who would not be deterred by Flick's simple dagger. No, Flick knew that if he did not get out of here fast he was probably going to be the next meal for some wolvish creature. He glanced back down at his boot and gave another tug. This time, and with a satisfying pop, his leg and boot came free. The force was enough to send Flick sprawling backwards in the mud with a very ungraceful 'oomph!' And, there he lay, sprawled in the mud while staring up at the dark and gloomy sky.
The gnats buzzed about him still. Flick let out a huffing breath and sat up, glancing about him. He seemed to be alone...but that's how the Balverines and other creatures caught people unawares. He glanced across the row of twisted trees and the undergrowth and that was when he caught something. The flash of white fur. White? Balverines were usually gray and brown. Unless that was something else. Flick's blood ran cold and he reached down to touch his side where he had his dagger sheathe. He decided it was probably best to hold his tongue...if that thing attacked, he was certainly screwed. Whatever that thing was, it was fast. It had zipped through the bushes as though at a running pace. Flick quickly scrambled to his feet and dusted himself off, scraping some of the mud that clung to his legs to the ground. Flick gave his shoulders a quick roll and faced ahead once again. Be quick. Be quiet. You'll be fine.

The Alphaess
❦ Hєяσιηє σƒ Kησтнσℓє Gℓα∂є ❦
❧Alphaess fallowed behind the creature as it seem to be on a trail of scent, running on all fours like a wolf. She was one of the fastest but even she would having a hard time keeping up with the Balverine if it did run at it's fastest pace. But the beast was keeping it slow, slow enough for Alphaess to keep up. And even that speed was quite fast enough. The Cullis Gate where they were teleported to was left far behind in just a matter of seconds. She would usually not travel on feet for such long distance, for the sake of time she had but there weren't many Cullis Gates around this dangerous woods.
A while after, the white Balverine slowed down, eventually stopped. So did Alphaess while giving the creature a confused look "The merchant's should be somewhere close to the camp. Alphaess spat, loudly and in an aggressive manor which got a loud snarl as a reply from the creature. The Balverine did carried a leash around the neck but it did not meant that it was fully tamed and was just a mindless slave. The creature glared at the heroine with an angered look, than turned it's gaze to where thornbushes and smaller plants were blocking the view. Alphaess looked at the direction, drawing her bow that was hung on her back along with a black arrow from her quiver. She tilted her head and looked at the creature, telling that she did not understand what it was trying to tell. After all the mission wasn't here. There couldn't be any humans around. The Balverine wouldn't just spend their precious time around randomly, goofing around. All the reply she got was an even louder growl as the beast demanded her to check where it was pointing at. Alphaess sighed loudly rolling her eyes. She wondered sometime who was the master and who was the beast.
The Beast made an annoyed voice, understanding he had no luck about making the hot-headed heroine investigate the place it was pointing at. Leaving Alphaess alone, the creature went through the plants, even before Alphaess could complain or protest. It's impressive large, white body hardly went through the thick bushes. Though it wasn't as big as normal White Balverines would be, being almost at the size of a normal Balverine. Once the creature got out of the thorn bushes, it stood up on it's hind legs, looking down at the human with a silent growl, ready to attack if this human would do anything.

◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ Flick had almost begin to think that whatever creature was around had gone. The cold feeling he had felt not seconds ago sept away and he was beginning to think just maybe he'd make it to Darkwood Camp in one piece. Flick looked over to his left shoulder and swatted away another clump of mud that he had somehow missed when he was dusting himself off. Flick adjusted his pack on his shoulders and began to start up again on his trek.
That was, until the bushes rattled ominously. There was an irritable sounding growl and a patch of white fur was apparent through the undergrowth. Flick glanced in its direction, his green eyes rounding in fear. Then quite suddenly...it was before him. A massive creature standing upon two-legs...it was taller than him when standing on two-legs and it had a wolffish exterior. Flick knew immediately that this was a Balverine. But, weirdest of all, it was a pure white in colour. How odd...Flick stared up at the creature in utter horror and opened his mouth to say something. All that came out was a squeak.
{{I'll make it longer later. I gotta take some dogs for a walk.}}

The Alphaess
❦ Hєяσιηє σƒ Kησтнσℓє Gℓα∂є ❦
➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳ ➳
❧ The Balverine inspected the human with it's blood red eyes. Keeping on growling silently as it dropped on four once again. It's head was high in dominance as it took a step towards the human who have seem to be frozen with fear. Than, all of a sudden as it lost interest in the human, the Balverine let out a fierce scream, that was much like a wolf's howl but more aggressive and was hinting that it was about to attack. The white Balverine that accompanied Alphaess was known for attacking people on random and even she had a hard time controlling the beast inside. Even the Alphaess was getting attacked by her own pet. That was why she never let down her guard around the creature. After the howl, the creature got ready to sprung itself forwards it's prey. But he was stopped by a blade that landed between the creature and the man. This was no one else from Alphaess, have just hit the ground with a single sword in her right hand to stop the creature from attacking while holding the other sword with her other hand and pointing it backwards. Luckily, Alphaess have found a way through the bushes at the last second. "Back off stupid beast."
❧ Alphaess growled at the beast, much like an animal. She would fight her own pet if it was needed to make it behave nicely. Though she would rather avoid hurting it. The Balverine growled loudly, trying to keep it's gaze on the male human but Alphaess blocked the eye contact by staying in front of where he was looking as the beast changed it's position. Alphaess grinned, even that her eyes were not visible because of her hood, her grin was visible. "This is how we do it than? So be it." She said, her voice was still like a growling. The creature replied with a roar. Surprisingly, Alphaess did the same action, roaring at Balverine while still keeping her swords in her hands and keeping her gaze locked on it's eyes. It seem to be two Alpha Balverines were fighting for dominance. It did happened all the time, as both were born as Alphas. Alphaess was too busy to actually thing about the man but he couldn't go anywhere anyway. If he tried, she would pin him down with an arrow or simply let the Balverine eat him.
[It's okay I guess. I'm also kinda busy studying maths and literature while listening to Pentatonix <3
