Icestar nodded "Hurry and catch up with Flintfang I want both of them back here before night fall if you fight them" she licked his cheek and padded to Wildfire. "Wildfire have you seen your apprentice?" she asked quite worried about her deputy.

[derision]

Flintfang smelt their scent getting stronger. Getting excited, she made her way in front of small den they were in, but didn't see them. Frowning, the black she cat called, "Amberkit? Shadepaw?"

[tytrack]

tigershark nodded and hurried after flintfang's scent.

wildfire stared at the ground from where he said, and didn't look up. "no.." he muttered solemnly, flicking his tail back and forth.

Icestar

Icestar frowned. "Wildfire if you don't want to be my deputy....its okay if you don't I just thought you seemed a bit down and upset. I know what your upset about but you have to move on if you really want to have a apprentice and such a big job to do. You have to understand that if you sit here and pity everything that things won't get done. I'm a queen now and I can't just organize patrols and do other things all day" Icestar said with her ears flat hoping she hadn't offended him in any way.

Amberkit

Amberkit jolted awake in alarm and slapped her small tail over Shadepaw's mouth to keep him quite. She backed away not realizing the queen's voice. She bristled and tried to make herself look bigger but its didn't change her appearance much. Amberkit swallowed hard and sat down quietly.

Flintfang heard rustling, and instinctively looked in their direction. When she spotted them, she hissed, "What were you thinking? Why are you out here all alone, Amberkit?" The queen gave a death glare to Shadepaw as well.

Amberkit

Amberkit flattened her ears "I wanted to see the forest so Shadepaw took me out because I asked him to and I didn't want to go back to camp so we were going to stay the night out here but then you can and now we are here" she said telling the whole story. She left out the part about mouse because that would only add more trouble about how she ran away from Shadepaw.

Flintfang sighed, "Amberkit, this is serious. Your mother was worried sick! We thought we lost you for a little bit. Well, we did. But now you are found. C'mon." The queen picked up the small kit's neck fur, glaring at Shadepaw as she walked back to camp again.

Wildfire looked up at his leader with tired, sad eyes. "you don't understand. I can't get over it. I can't get over her." his voice shook sadly, before getting to his paws. "shadepaw had great training from ..." he flattened his ears, not saying her name. "her, and he doesn't need me to train him anymore than I have." he said solemnly. "i'll try to shape up, but.." he looked at the ground. "i don't think i'm going to ever get over this."

Shadepaw

He jerked awake and folded back his ears at Flintfang. "Don't be mad at her! I was the one who wanted to stay over night! if it wasn't for me she would have gone back to camp a long time ago. I will take the punishment for this if there is any. " He said getting to his paws. "And what's the big deal she didn't get hurt." He frowned then padded behind Flintfang.

Flintfang growled over Amberkit's fur, "She isn't in trouble. You are." Speeding up, she paused when she ran into Tigershark. Continuing, she flicked an ear, reaching camp. Dropping Amberkit in the nursery, she sighed, looking at Amberkit. "You know you got him in big trouble."
