"I don't know." Mani said with a sigh, holding up a hand to lean her head on. "So many things have happened...I suppose all this drama seems normal right now." She said. "But I suppose...peace? Been a while since we've had that."

"One day," Castor said. He knew things would never go back to how they used to be, with each detail intact. He was a growing wolf again, there was Veritas out to get him and Mani, they had to protect Rebekah and Harry, and there was still so much left he needed sorted out. It was... strange, seeing how they had gone so far.

"Hopefully." Mani said, and she settled down properly, holding back a yawn. Maybe she did need some sleep now...she felt surprisingly tired after this talk.

"Tired?" Castor asked, knowing he himself really couldn't sleep... not after such a throwback. So many things had happened, he couldn't believe it.

[wolf ;;]

"Yeah...a bit." Mani said, and she flicked her torn ear. "Its been a long series of events...the whole thing is exhausting."

Castor pulled his knees up to his chest and nodded agreeably. More than anything, that he could understand. And yet he knew that after all that, only more would come... would conflict like this never end?

Mani accepted the silence, and she tried to fall asleep...why couldn't things be as simple as sleeping? Everything would be easy then.

Castor could see that Mani was trying to fall asleep, so he said nothing and stood up, as he wanted to get out and maybe breathe some fresh air.
