The other wolf casually turned to face Castor. He didn't look intimidating, he didn't look angry. In fact, he looked somewhat pleased. "Hey," he said. "Been enjoying the scenery here? Like the lake and all the stuff I put in it? Maybe that'd get you to swim more." He picked up a snow globe and tossed it to Castor, who caught it with shaking hands. The other wolf had the same brown eyes that Castor looked to for guidance, the mottled gray and brown fur he'd missed seeing. And he remembered his name too... Seven, dearest Seven. Castor still said nothing. Seven didn't seem to mind. "Still quieter than a rock, eh? Well, she'll probably get you talking." He gestured to Mani, outside. "Until then, see you later."
And the wolf disappeared, leaving Castor alone in a souvenir shop.
