I followed his gaze. "Sister, huh? I can see the resemblance."

Maya smiled. "I love you too Quinn."

"I can't believe they sent a little girl, though."

Quinn

I hugged her with one arm.

Maya smiled up at him.

Christopher shook his head. "They must have a reason...."

I gazed at Maya. "Maya...if we're going back to the city...you have to be really careful, okay? I, well, it might be dangerous, and if anything happened to you..."

"I hope so," I murmured.

Christopher lightly kissed her forehead.

I nodded gratefully. "Okay. Thank you. If anything happened to you, I'd kill myself."

I shoved my spare shirts into my bag.

Christopher had packed his things and went about to grab what ever extra food they had.

I sat back, gazing up at the stony ceiling.
