The soft sound of shoes tapping against concrete filled the ally. The owner of the tapping shoes knew he was late; it wasn't even close to becoming day though. There wasn't much need to worry. However, knowing his friend he'd be upset the lateness of his arrival. A small smirk appeared on his face as he looked the other in the shadows,"Glad to know you're here. Care to go somewhere more private to discuss our matters?"

The figure in the shadows scowled,"You're late." He sighed and waved his hand,"Let's go in here." A hand pushed open a wooden door to a dark room lit by a single candle.

He scoffed,"Really now? I wasn't aware." The male shook his head and followed the other inside. They didn't really have to worry about anyone seeing them; who would be dumb enough to be outside at this time. Everyone knew of the murderous Jack the Ripper. The man, or men, have killed so many why would he be afraid of being spotted? Pulling out a chair and sitting in it, he relaxed and watched the candle flame flicker. "Want to know what I have?" He asked.

"You brought it up, Alex. I didn't," The other rolled his eyes,"...What did you find?"

Alex pulled out the documents he collected from Elizabeth's office and threw them onto the table. They were the evidence and leads they had on the murderer. There was quite a lot of the information too; if he hadn't of collected it, Jack would have been caught. Or at least close to being caught. He grinned,"Not bad, eh? It wasn't hard really."

Peter examined the documents, looking over them briefly,"Where did you find them?" He set them down back on the table and sat back to his makeshift chair of boxes. It creaked softly under his weight.

Alexandre waved his hand and tilted his head,"Oh you know, in Elizabeth's desk. Don't worry, I wore gloves." He frowned deeply and hissed out,"She was too busy swooning over Henry to notice I stayed behind." His secret obsession with Elizabeth could be seen in two ways - creepy or sweet. There is no in between and it seems that is leans more towards creepy. The male snorted,"The best part is that no one suspects me, the poor assistant investigator."

Peter observed his friend. "If you like her that much, just kill her guy." His face morphed into a smirk.

With that sentence in mind, the dark haired man perked up. "Kill Henry," He hit himself on the head,"Why didn't I think of that? Its a genius idea! This is why we are a good team." Alexandre lightly punched Peter on the arm. His dark grey eyes trailed to the scattered evidence that was scattered all over the table,"I think we should burn it."

"No duh we should burn it," Peter grinned. He used the lit candle to light another and threw it into the fireplace, where a stack of old wrinkled newspaper resided. It illuminated the room, but there were so windows so they were still safe.
