[Chaoses]

"Yea, I noticed it. Like a looming shadow that always disappears when we look over our shoulder. But I'm not too worried about it. If it comes, it comes. Then I'll worry about it."
Jack made himself a sandwich and took a large bite. He chew thoughtfully then said, "Well, there's a tourist boat coming tomorrow. I'm sure you could hitch a ride back. Just make up a story about how you got lost or something. Tourists are always getting lost. But I only plan to be here just a 4-5 days. I should be able to cover some distance in that time, and you can just hang out around here where its safe."

♛ "No, but it's more than that. I don't want anything to happen."
He considered his options before saying, "Whatever. I'll just stay, then."
Felix finished his sandwich and stood up.

[Chaoses]

Jack rolled over onto his stomach and pulled a pillow under him.
"Well, I'm going to be sleeping here if you want me. Gnight." Jack yawned and was lulled to sleep by the sound of waves rolling onto shore. The air was cool and clear, no bugs, the moon was shining with a few clouds. Perfect weather for sleeping.

{{ yoo long time no rp. let's see here..... gonna start a few days later and the 2 find themselves in the jungle after a long and tedious struggle through underbrush, strange noises and angry monkeys. Felix is almost at the end of his rope, but Jack thinks he finally found something.... }}

Jack hunted around on the crumbling wall. There had to be a lever somewhere. He could hear Felix grumbling under his breath and he smiled to himself. For some reason he refused to go anywhere, and doggedly followed Jack everywhere. Jack looked back to the wall. There had to be some secret. He ran his paws over the stones and was startled by a snake. It seemed to come out of the wall itself, and slither away. Jack pulled back the vines and found a hole. It was dark and he was hesitant to put his limb in there, but he plunged his paw inside and gave the end of the hole a shove. The ground gave way underneath his feet and he fell down into a stone chamber. Slightly stunned he look around in the darkness and waited for his eyes to adjust.

Only Jack had fallen, as only he had put his paw through, and Felix rolled his eyes before mumbling again. It was dark down there, or so Felix had observed. [thanks captain obvious] Before jumping he grabbed hold of two rocks, an orange, and a piece of bamboo Felix had ripped off of the vine-covered wall. He jumped through the hole swiftly and landed with a soft thud coming from both his hind paws, just like jumping from a tree.
He felt Jack next to him and moved away. "I'm not the best fighter, but at least I'm agile," he muttered and got to work. A few minutes later, and voila! Handing the torch to Jack, he got up and waited for him to make a decision, because there were two tunnels ahead of them.

Jack was surprised at how Felix didn't make a fuss of going into the hole. He thought he would at least have ran in a few circles before attempting to climb down. Maybe Felix was starting to come around.....
Jack took the torch and looked around the room. He found the 2 tunnels and hesitated. One seem to curve around a corner and sloped down, the other was straight then went around a corner. Jack looked at both entrances, neither had been disturbed in centuries. He brushed away the vines to reveal some wording. There was a man walking, and a pyramid on one entrance, and the other had a dog, a reptilian monster of some sort, and a pair of wings. Puzzled, he leaned in closer to try and figure it out. After a few minutes, he stepped back and held the torch up to the images. "Any ideas?" Jack said to Felix.

After staring at both of the groups of images, Felix finally came to a conclusion. "I'm not good at these riddles, but something tells me it's the second option, the dog, the reptile monster, and the wings. You have final say though, since it was your idea."

Jack swung the torch back and forth from one image to the next. "Well, I have no clue about the 1st one. Maybe its a long walk to something, with a pyramid type thing at the end? The second one on the other hand...." He swung the torch back over. "That's the thing I threw off the boat. Maybe the dogs are showing something? And wings I have no idea about.... Perhaps these could be stages. Dogs first, monster thing second, wings third. Sort of like a puzzle. But it has been a few millenniums since its been disturbed, so maybe the dogs were only there for a while. Mmm, I like the sound of this one. Come on, let's get going, I want to try and get somewhere before dark hits.

♛ They both climbed through the tunnel and started walking. They came to an empty room with dust-covered walls. After wiping the dust away, there were words written in a strange language. Felix could only make out these:

You've done well.. are you...risking...
the dawn... come.. now.. time
dogs will... rip.. at
re.. scare
win.. dis.. tro

"Huh.. They're not really.. It's symbolism," Felix mumbled, lost in his own thoughts.
