Jack was happy that Felix was calming down, it would be easier to get around with him asleep. He finally found a decent enough spot and threw out bait and fish to attract a shark frenzy. Sure enough, fins began to appear and the water began to churn. Jack bent over and heaved the creature up on the side.
"It wasn't nice knowing ya, good riddance." Jack said and shoved him over the side. He quickly started the engine and began to head back to the island.

♛ Fifteen minutes later, Felix woke up. He was still on the boat; he saw Jack a few feet away on the shore doing something that Felix couldn't see. He groaned and groggily got up. He felt more like himself now, but there was still some of the ... left.

[Chaoses]

Jack was slowly pulling the boat inshore, since he had found a little sheltered cove. it was pretty, with palm trees and sparkling sand. He began to tie the boat to a secure anchoring point when he noticed that Felix was stirring. He looked over his shoulder, but continued with the work.

♛ Felix walked over to Jack and said, "What're you doing?" in a sleepy voice. He noticed the cove and thought, Oh no.

[Chaoses]

"Tying the boat up so it doesn't float away. There." He stepped away from it looking satisfied.
Jack noticed the fleeting look of despair on Felix's face and he smiled.
"You don't have to sleep on the beach, there are a few trees over that-a-way." He waved his paw in a southerly direction.
"I am going to sleep out here on the beach, better to stay where I can see things. Well, I'm off to find some tinder. Don't want to get caught out here in the dark." Jack said and stepped off in the direction of the jungle. The sun was almost below the horizon so he would need to hurry.

♛ Felix didn't want to leave Jack alone, but he didn't want to seem overprotective either. After all, what was the worst that could happen? Felix lied down on a nearby tree and waited for Jack to come back.

{ well Jack could get caught in a fire and fall off a cliff into a water hole full of electric eels.... }

Jack stepped off into the jungle's edge and stopped. It seems as if the noise was amplified for some reason. He looked around but could really see anything. He found a few dried out coconuts and limbs, enough to last for several hours. He returned to the beach a short time after, found a suitable spot and began to dig a pit.

♛ Felix hadn't gone to sleep. When Jack returned, he walked back to the shore and helped with the fire. "What else do you want to do on this island anyway?" he mumbled half-to-himself, half-to-Jack.

[Chaoses]

"I dunno honestly. I probably should have thought it through before draggin' you here. I figured you will either kill me in my sleep or just play along and hate every moment of it. Give or take. But honestly I think that it would be better out here than back in the hotel room....and besides, does the thought of treasure and adventure not excite you?" Jack's eyes gleamed in the moonlight. He smiled to himself and shuffled around looking for the matchbook. He lit the fire and carefully fed it, so as to not put it out. He finally got it going, and went to the boat. He returned with a cooler, blankets, towels and pillows.
He put the cooler down and tossed the pillows and blankets on top of it. He spread a towel out and flopped down on it. He rooted around in the cooler for a bit and pulled out dinner material. He put together a sandwich and offer it to Felix.
"Not the best, but its better than not eating."

♛ "I'm all for a good adventure, but.. Can't you tell that there's been something... off ever since we got here?"
He nibbled lazily at the sandwich, hungry but not desperate. It was decent, but he wasn't in the mood.
"I don't know.. I'll get off this island at the first chance."
