[Chaoses]

Jack swam around for a while then leaped onto the tall rock besides the pool. The sun warmed and dried his fur and so naturally he fell asleep. He woke up to see Felix, and sprang off to greet him. As he neared him, he could see something was up. He noticed the swollen eye and his heart dropped. "Oh great..." he said and sat down in front of him. "Well buddy. What happened this time? You run into a pole? It looks like the pole won."

[catra]

He shrugged. "It doesn't matter. I'm fine," he mumbled, but he knew that that wouldn't convince Jack. He closed his bad eye and opened it a few seconds later. "Really, nothing happened."

[Chaoses]

Jack crossed his eyes and strutted around mimicking Felix. "Oh yes I'm just fine! I've only got a black and blue eye that I can barely see through and new scars in the making. Seriously I'm just fine." He slumped his shoulders and banged his head against the nearest tree. "Dude. Why are you so stubborn? Can't you see that you need help? You don't need to act like a hero all the time you know. It gets old fast."

"I'm not trying to act like a hero. I was walking around the city and I got jumped, okay?"
He sighed and looked at Jack blankly. "There's nothing you can do. It's done and it wasn't my fault. And I know I'm not a hero.. Really, y-you have no idea h-how much I know t-that."

[Chaoses]

Jack stared at the ground. "So fine you got jumped. But a normal being wouldn't just stand there and take a beating from a random stranger. Normally they run away. You are fast Felix, I know that much. Couldn't you have scampered up the tree or something?"
He clapped his paws to his ears and squinched his eyes shut. He didn't hear the last part of what Felix had said, since he was marching up the hill, angrily muttering to himself. "That dude needs to get a grip! Geez drop the act and get real." He continued up the hill muttering under his breath.

'I fought back. I didn't just stand there! Does he think I'm useless?' he thought angrily and climbed up a tree. He thought about things for a while before dozing off into a restless sleep.

[Chaoses]

'Man, that guys is getting on my nerves. I need a break. No wonder we are both solitary, we can't carry on a normal conversation without me being a huge jerk.' he thought. He stepped into the cave entrance and threw himself down on a patch of moss and leaves. 'Well, maybe I can get some sleep.' He dozed off and woke later to the crashing of thunder and a heavy downpour of rain.

When he woke up he was drenched in water. Felix climbed down the tree and saw a lightning bolt about 50 meters from him. He ran faster than ever up the slope and into the cave, careful not to slip due to the tremendous amount of rain. He was shivering, because he'd spent a few hours in the cold rain and had somehow slept through it. The fire was out, and there was no way to start it again because they'd run out of sticks. He saw Jack a few feet away from him and Felix nodded as if to acknowledge his presence

[Chaoses]

Jack saw a dark figure come in out of the rain, and tensed up until he realized it was Felix. He grunted in un return to the curt nod and rose up to stretch. It was perfect sleeping weather and he didn't want to miss out. He slowly rose and scratched at the ground, attempting to fluff the moss and grass he had been sleeping on. He circled twice and laid down again, with his nose buried in his tail.

"Why so rude?" he mumbled before turning away from him.
[-dontchaknowimhumantoo-]Annoyed, Felix walked deeper into the cave to get further/farther? away from the rain and Jack, but he actually ended up being closer to him without even realized it.
