When Mayia clung onto him from behind, Syn motioned to her to not be afraid and shy. After all, Mio and Anice were kind people. After hearing what Knight had said, he shuddered a bit but agreed with him. "If he ends up attacking us, will you be alright?" he asked. It was just like him to worry about being hurt. "If anything.....couldn't we just find someone else?"

Mio shook her head, not ready to give up yet. "No.......We would just have to try then." she said, pondering about the situation. "In response to you, Knight, we'll just have to question him. What better 'person' to ask about a spirit realm than a demon?" Of course, Mi knew that we she had said made no sense, but that didn't matter. "Mayia, would you happen to know where this specific cliff would be?" she asked gently, knowing how easily the girl scared. Anice had been busy staring at Skye, who still happened to be on the ground. It was awkward, and she wondered if they should at least bring him inside.

Mayia looked up at Syn, having walked out to his side when he tried to encourage her not to be scared. She smiled softly up at him before looking at the others, still holding onto Syn's arm. With Syn's worry, though, Mayia started to grow uncertain. She knew what demons and humans usually did upon contact with one another. A demon teller might not be very happy about this. Then again, Mayia definitely wasn't human. She wondered how the demons would react to her. At Mio's question of where the demon was, she nodded slowly. "A-And you can just leave Skye... Rioku should come tonight to keep him company till he can move... It's almost sunset after all..." Mayia said timidly, her grip on Syn's arm tightening just a bit. Knight shrugged lightly at that, his eyes travelling down to his feet in the feeling of tension. He really didn't do well with demons, since his happy attitude always angered them. He played any situation as if it were a game, and that usually left him in such terrible situations. Hunter trotted over to Mayia before long, sitting at her side and looking up at the others.

Syn smiled at her, glad she was able to speak up. He seemed to be in a good mood, but he was slightly afraid of what was to come. Syn was never that good at keeping a calm composure, so he just tried his best to stay confident and not have others worry about him. "Alright then." Mio said, remember the wolf Rioku. "Would you mind telling us where it is, then?" Mayia didn't seem to realize that Mio's first question wasn't implied to be answered with just yes or no. She was shy, so Mio didn't force any of the questions on her.

Mayia lowered her head a bit and stepped behind Syn again, looking towards her feet quietly when Mio asked her question again. Fidgeting with Syn's sleeve, Mayia looked to her feet and watched the others in a reserved manner before answering in her usual quiet tone. "I-I'll take you... I'm not... very good at giving directions..." She murmured softly, hoping that Syn would come too. It was one thing to have Hunter around, but she was growing attached to Syn. Having him around just felt a lot better than trying to deal with things alone. Hunter could see that in the way that Mayia was seemingly leaning up to him. She seemed to rely on Syn quite a bit, though he would sometimes say that he was unreliable. It had been a long time since Mayia took to someone like this, so it was a little herd to give up this time around. Knight was starting to find it annoying that Mayia kept hiding, trying to put off speaking for too long by answering vaguely. He trudged around the others and took Mayia by her arm, pulling her out from behind Syn a little roughly and getting her to release him. "You've been hiding all this time. Just come out already." He said nonchalantly, though Mayia seemed to be worrying about it, her eyes shut tight as she quivered. She really didn't get along with Knight very well in these kinds of settings, since they use to be close, but at this point, she was going to have to get use to it until he decided to take off again. Hopefully, that would be soon.

When Knight suddenly pulled Mayia away from him Syn flinched, turning around on instinct. "H-Hey!" he exclaimed with a somewhat agitated look on his face. "You don't have to be so forward....." Honestly, Syn was a bit intimidated of Knight, so he didn't raise his voice too much. Knight seemed to be the violent type, but Syn tried not to let his emotions get the best of him. "Don't be so hard on her." interrupted Mio. "She's shy, is all. You don't have to be so harsh." She then looked over at Syn, expecting him to say something. Of course, he had also realized how much Mayia was attached to him, but it didn't mind, considering that she was also growing on him. A short, awkward moment of silence passed before Mio spoke up again. "Never mind this. The sun is about to set, so I suggest we get going now."

Knight was silent while Syn and Mio chewed him out, his expression growing to be increasingly irritated as he grumbled a little to himself. He released Mayia's arm, though. It would be a good idea to get going now so that they could get to the teller at sunset, night being a time where demons were most taken to, normally. Mayia ran away from Knight the second she was released, hiding behind Syn and rubbing her arm. Knight must have forgotten his own strength... because that grip he had on her arm was painful. She knew that they had to go, but with Knight so close, she didn't really feel like putting herself out there, looking over at Hunter with eyes that begged him to help her. Hunter seemed a little disappointed in this, but he brought himself between Knight and Mayia before she nodded to Mio, silently telling her that she was ready before she started off towards one of the paths to the cliffside, Hunter at her side while keeping himself between her and Knight at all times. Mayia was still willing to wait for Syn, hoping that he was going to come along, though he wasn't really the heroic type. He played more of a supporting role, but Mayia found his willingness to help her enough to make her happy.

Knight slowly let himself fall behind. It was obvious that he had done something wrong, but he wasn't willing to admit it. As he lagged behind the group with his hands lazily in his pockets, he glared at nothing in particular, shifting his eyes from one thing to the next to avoid looking ahead of him at the others. He was in too much of a bad mood today. The boy that usually had a smile plastered mockingly on his face was nowhere to be found at the moment. It was a childish kind of anger, and that was what made it more important that he stop that before his rage got the better of him.

(.....I'm SO sorry for not posting. It's been a month or so, and and and....Finals have just finished and.... T_T I've been meaning to post for a while now, but I haven't, and gawd. I feel bad now. I've probably lost all my writing statures. You should kill me. But don't. Or I won't be able to post.)

"Alright." Mio said, begining to walk forward. "Let's get moving then." She walked a bit slowly, expecting Mayia to lead the way. "Do you think that we could get there by sundown? I'm a bit cautious at this time of day." It wasn't that Mio was scared, but she was worried about the others' well-beings. Syn, of course, wasn't too much of a fighter and would not be able to hold off on his own if they were to encounter anything along the way.

Seeing that Mayia had no choice but to go, Syn decided to tag along and keep her company, as well as give some moral support to Mio and Anice. He didn't give too much thought about Knight, only knowing that he tended to act rashly and of his own accord. Walking forward, Syn took a hold Mayia's hand, hoping to make her feel reassured. He tried his best to cause a scene between the two of them, and acted casually as they traveled along to the cliff side. Anice, however, was keeping an eye out for things because in her opinion, t would be a perfect time to attack them. She was calmly walking forward, but continued to turn her head abruptly at random points, making her seem as if she had some sort of tick.

(I only have two things to say to you X3 1. Welcome back XD Exams just finished here too 2. ... What's a writing stature o_o)

Mayia was ready to trot ahead, having gone ahead of the small group. She could hear a pair of feet coming closer to her, having smiled brightly when she saw that it was Syn, his large, soft hand wrapped around her own. She was glad that he decided to come along. She wasn't very familiar with standing openly in a group of people, but Syn having taken her hand caused her to keep it at her side. "Thank you." She murmured softly, smiling up at him and trying to keep pace with him rather than moving of her own accord. Mayia was rather slow, being as small and frail as she was. Running or walking was a weak point for her, so there really wasn't much she could do about that, not to mention she had been injured not long ago by Skye's master.

Knight was content with watching the others. The only ones that seemed willing to carry any kind of conversation seemed to be the two little lovebirds up at the front. Anice and Mio seemed so much more serious about this, and he was getting a dirty look from Hunter, who walked along at the side of the group as they travelled a forest path. They were moving more quickly than he had expected them to go, but that only made him uneasy. Demons weren't creatures that were easily messed with a lot of the time. Though Knight didn't show it, he was a bit unnerved by the situation. Not frightened, but just a little uneasy. They were going to see a demon in its home, and at night, when they were powerful enough to hold a solid form. Anice looked like she had a kink in her neck, the way that she moved her head around, and when he decided to look back, Skye had vanished from where he had been laying, just a puddle of his blood on the ground surrounded by untainted dirt. It was just like him to disregard his injuries. He must have gone to his garden.

(Sigh. Another almost-month of not posting. More writer's block. Lovely. HOWEVER, I officially have more free time. Somewhat. A writing stature? I think that's....a type of writing. Or not. I'm not entirely sure. I think I meant to type something else haha. And happy leap day.)

Syn smiled back at Mayia, continuing to walk along nonchalantly. "No problem." he said gently, only to murmur to himself the second time around. "No problem at all." He then looked back at Mio, who seemed to be in deep thought. She had not said a word and only continued to walk behind them. Her mind seemed to be engulfed in something, as if she were worried that something was going to happen. However, Syn also knew that their little adventure was not going to turn out as smoothly as they would have hoped.

When Anice had turned around once more, she noticed, along with Knight, that Skye had gone somewhere. That made her feel uneasy, for she was unusually sensitive towards him; she only hoped he had no gone far. "Knight." she said, realizing that it was the first time she had said his name. "What are you?" she asked. It was a vague and random question, but a strangely logical one. Skye was apparently a sort of soul that had come from a different realm. Anice knew that they were brothers, so Knight had to either be the same, or something different.

(lol XD Nice, and yes, yes, leap day X3 Just so you know, school is starting to get a little intense for me, so I won't be posting as often [Ironic, isn't it X3])

Mayia watched her feet as she walked, her hand slowly tightening against Syn's the closer they got to the foot of the cliffs. It didn't matter to her how close it was, it was the thought that they were willingly going to see a demon that frightened her. "I-It's not far..." She murmured softly, starting to shake from her fear. With a deep breath, Mayia let go of Syn's hand against her will and went ahead of the others. She stood beside a narrow path. It wasn't wide enough for anyone to walk side by side, but it was enough to get them up unnoticed. It was a very thin path between to massive walls of stone, unpolished and crawling with weeds and bugs. Mayia didn't mind that, but what waited above them wasn't something she was excited about.

Knight was pretty quiet for the walk, inattentive to where he was going and what was happening around him. He almost didn't hear Anice speak to him at all. That was actually a shock to him when he heard Anice, though. She was a soft spoken girl that almost never seemed to want to speak, but if she chose to speak to him, then it must have been important. Thinking about her question for a moment. It took a while before he just shrugged lightly. "I honestly don't know. I don't think there are enough of us to create a name for what we are, so we... just try to live, I guess. Our emotions seem to just run our life, but I can't really remember how it all happened. It was so long ago." He explained briefly, scratching his neck the entire time and trying to make some sense of what dribble he just let out in response to Anice's slightly surprising choice.
