Knight simply nodded quietly, spotting Hunter out of the corner of his eye as the large wolf padded into the area with Skye's hat on his head. It was a bit difficult to find a way to carry it, but seemed to be working swimmingly. The large wolf hunkered down at Skye's side and just slipped the hat off before trotting to Mio. If he had to choose, he preferred Mio over the others from Barak. She knew how to take charge, or at least she wasn't spineless and wimpy. Anice was just a little too quiet for him, and he got enough of that when he escorted Mayia through a crowd.
Mayia yawned lightly into her shoulder and cuddled up to Syn one last time before she opened her eyes to the sound of Mio's voice. There was a light blush across her cheeks as she glanced around the room, and when her eyes fell upon the door, she tilted her head curiously. She didn't remember being trapped in the spirit realm, but Hunter could understand what it was that Mio was getting at. Her consciousness sometimes did go there, but her memory of that place was very foggy. There were many things that she didn't know about her possession problem, but with two demons, at least one of them should have some kind of helpful information. Calling them forward would be rather difficult, though, if they didn't want to hurt her. Hunter, Skye and Knight were aware of this, but they weren't sure to admitting it to anyone.
Taking in a steady breath, Skye forced himself to sit up and coughed a few times from the strain that ran through his body like a bolt of electricity. "... The library..." He strained from his throat before breaking into a small fit of coughing. The information from the library would be useful, but he was getting at the portal at the back of the room. There was a tome that they could use to make that portal take them just about anywhere. It was a dangerous tool, but if they were successful, they could probably help. He was desperate, to say the least... He had been for a while. He didn't want the burden of knowing that he could end lives with just a flick of his wrist. He wanted to be happy. Not to have that horrible power under his belt.
"We should start off with something a little more within their league. Rushing isn't going to lift your curse any time soon." Hunter grumbled bitterly, upset with most of this little situation of theirs. It was going to be a while before anyone could have peace, and Skye was neglecting a few tidbits of information that just might save, or kill, them all. How these things worked out were a spectacle for bystanders, but Hunter didn't think that anyone else was going to see it his way. "Each village should have a tarot of some sort. Maybe the one from Barak really has some kind of connection to the realm of the spirits. If she's just a quack, then we'll see where we can go from her nonsense, if she can spew anything good." Hunter was getting testy, but at least he had ideas, his tail brushing against the grass in which he sat.
