Hiyashi's Death [Private]

When Mayia suddenly started crying even louder, Syn subconsciously backed away a few feet to give her a little more space. Then after glancing outside for a few moments, he saw that Hunter had been dropped and the twins were fighting alongside each other. "Mayia!" he started to say, "Hunter's fine....a little hurt, but fine. He was just let go, thanks to Hailey." However, things didn't seem to be getting better. The stranger looked to be enjoying the scene! He had a small grin on the side of his face, and he smirked at each attempt the girls made to injure him.

It wasn't long before Anice started to realize that he was obviously superior, and knew it himself. The man was messing with them. It was then clear to her why Skye had fled as well. Skye didn't seem the type to run away from a battle, and the stranger wasn't going to leave until Skye returned.

Mayia snivelled, peeking up at Syn with a slightly sad expression. She was scared, still wishing that Hunter would come back. Since Mayia didn't move, none of them were able to see the shadow that was holding onto her ankle. She didn't move from the bed for that reason, mostly. She would have run after Hunter if she could, but she couldn't. "Syn..." She murmured, still crying. She just didn't want to see all of this go wrong. Her shoulders just couldn't stop shaking, and she wished that they would just stop... It would help.

Meanwhile, the man outside was just playing around with the twins and the wolf as they tried to injure him, until he started to become bored. He just smirked lightly before raising one hand above his head. The clouds started to become dark with souls and moans of evils came from the ground. Hailey was grabbed by a shadowy claw and pulled to the floor, Hunter almost caught as well. That man... He had vanished into the darkness, and the leaves on the trees were starting to rustle. Those souls were the least of their trouble. If those three didn't get inside of away from that area, then this was going to be the day that they died.

Scared, Syn tried his best to put on a brave mask and stay by Mayia's side. However, what he wanted to do even more was cower in the corner. As soon as the creepy moaning noises started to gather, a chill went down Syn's back, telling him that things were going to get even worse. Mio had had enough. Despite Skye's and Anice's warning, she raced outside to find out what was going on.

As soon as she took a step out of the cabin, the sky darkened and an ominous atmosphere surrounded the group. Then all of a sudden something grabbed Hailey, pulling her to the ground. On instinct, Holly tried to help but ending up being pushed back and knocked to the ground by an unnaturally strong wind. Silhouettes of odd shapes started to gather up; it seemed to be building some sort of dome around them. It was then that Anice caught on to their new situation. Running after Mio, she grabbed her friend's hand. "We have to get out of here." Anice said with a frighteningly serious face. She would only make that expression whenever she sensed a paranormal death.

Mayia looked up at Syn with tear filled eyes, wishing that she could tell Syn what he could do to stop this, but if Mayia said anything, Saith would kill her and anyone who heard her... She wanted to reach out to Syn, but all she could do was sit there, that shadow chaining her to the bed. Soon, the sounds of moaning came, and Mayia became horribly frightened that all the colour in her skin had turned completely white. "... Syn... Run aw-" Mayia cried out, but long before she had been able to spit out the last word, she had been completely shocked. A dark shock ran through Mayia's body and she screamed in complete pain. There was nothing that she could do other than say that. The shock was too painful, and she was left motionless. Alive, but no motion possible other than the panting and crying that she was doing now. She couldn't even clutch to the bed. She had fallen on her side, her hair over her face and that shadow still holding her down. She wasn't going to be let go... Not by the looks of it now. Hailey wasn't able to move either, her body fixed in position. Soon, there was a rustling in the trees, the terrain unfit for a normal human to go running in. Something was approaching quickly, and it wasn't going to stop.

Scared speechless, Syn started to tear up. He clutched the sides of his arms while shivering, thinking that Mayia was dying. He wanted to run away. He wanted to forget what just happened and leave...but he couldn't. His mind refused to leave Mayia's side even though he was completely frozen. Then, before he could even lift a finger, Syn collapsed. An electrical sort of wave seemed to have hit him, attacking him mentally.

"We can't just leave them!" Mio yelled. The wind was drowning out the voices of Mio and Anice and refused to let them hear each other. "Death." Anice said, with a hint of fear in her voice. "We will die. We need to leave." But it was too late. The area had been covered in black and had surrounded them. The violent wind stopped abruptly. If they didn't know any better, they would have thought that it was over...but it wasn't. After a few seconds of silence, blood-curling shrieks arose from the invisible shadows almost loud enough to break open their eardrums.

Mayia wanted to move to Syn, to be able to be close enough to him that she didn't need to feel scare, but there was no telling what was going to happen. Being inside at a time like this was supposed to feel safe, but it only meant that they were going to have to deal with motionlessness until this stopped. It was the people outside that were able to run, just because it amused Saith to the core of his being. To watch things struggle for their lives was what that terrible man loved more than his own being.

As the scene was set in darkness, the clouds of moaning souls moving over to the village of Barak where people thought that they were safe in their homes smiled unknowingly, Skye had come back. He had run away just to give them time to run, but his efforts had been futile. They were still here, never having taken the time to run off, or at least hide in his library. His hair had turned black, his eyes a demonic red, and in his hands he clutched two blades. The silver one he always held, and a black on, forged for him from the keeper of souls himself. He was surrounded by souls that seemed to bend at his will, and soon, Skye had come darting towards Mio and Anice, his expression still as stoney and blank as it usually was.

When the screams stopped, what was left in their shadows was Skye. He looked like a different person, similar to when he killed Bryan. Then before Mio and Anice could prepare themselves, Skye attacked them. Mio managed to take out her scabbard in time and use it to block Skye's sudden attack. Anice had side-stepped away from the blow and took out her fans, sliding them open with ease to prepare for another hit. Holly was still in the background, shocked by what was happening. She looked over at Hailey to see where she was, but her sister had disappeared.

Syn was still on the ground, feeling weaker than usual. Something made him fall, and the force was pushing him to the floor. He attempted to stand up but that only made him feel worse. Enduring the pain, he turned his head to the side and spoke in a low whisper. "M-Mayia....are you okay? You're okay....right? Please tell me you're okay....", Syn was badly hurt, but she seemed to be of more importance to him.

Skye continued to push on, and soon, he was grinning in a rather sinister way. He jumped back and grinned at them by order of his master, a man of darkness who was still in the area to watch, in person, the bloody massacre. Hailey was still fighting, though. She had forced the shadow from her ankle by attacking it again and again until she was able to get it off of her. She had run past her sister, out of her line of sight, and went to attack Skye in an instant. She was blaming him for this, and that was obvious in her eyes as she tried to use her bow to strangle him. It probably wasn't going to work, seeing as he was already dead, and the look in his eyes suggested that Hailey wasn't going to be here for much longer.

"T-They're going to die... It's... I-It's happening again..." Mayia choked, too worried about what was going to happen next rather than her being unable to move. Even Syn's voice didn't reach her as she struggled to breath and tried to keep herself from passing out. She just wanted to be able to be awake, to talk some sense into Skye before he did something that he would regret.

"Again!? N-no....They can't die." Syn muttered as he struggled. "They...can't." But before he could utter another word, he lost consciousness from overexerting himself. An invisible force had been pushing pressure into his skull, causing him to collapse.

While Hailey went in for an attack, Anice used the chance to strike Skye from behind. However, something threw her off. The evil look in Skye's eyes was controlling him, and just looking into them made Anice feel uneasy. Nothing was going to work. They were going to die.

Skye was just about to throw Hailey off of her feet, but the second he turned, he had seen Anice's uneasy expression. Something in him.. It was wavered by the look on Anice's face, and his expression changed slightly, a slight... pleading in his eyes. If he could speak his mind, he would have told her to kill him, but how could he ever dream to communicate to her. Before having gone back into that sinister state. Hailey was getting a little too aggressive as time passed, having tightened the string around his neck, and before she knew it, the thing had snapped with a thrust of Skye's arm, having tossed her to the ground. He would have killed her if Holly hadn't suddenly come out of nowhere, having knocked Skye over and stabbed his shoulder. They were ruthless... They had to be.

Mayia had continued to be completely irrational as she laid there, the shadow slowly losing its grip on her ankle as Skye started to fight harder and harder against the twins outside, rotting blood and real blood hitting the floor. She gained some sense, and seeing Syn on the floor caused her to widen her eyes slowly. She shook her head at that, though, pushing as hard as she could to move her body as she would have liked. The shadow still didn't let go, though. Soon, Hunter had darted into the cabin, his fur soaked. He hopped over Syn and to Mayia, having cut the thing that bound her to the bed, a look of anger on his face. "Come... We must stop him by any means. Quickly!" It was clear to Mayia that Hunter was panicking. He was snarling at her... She was still rather weak, though. She didn't know what she could do.
