Mio had noticed that Skye had called Anice by her first name. He seemed to be tired for not speaking as formally as he usually would. "The language of elves? That's peculiar. Unfortunately, we both cannot read this, so it would be of no use to us." she said. Anice nodded in agreement, as she usually did. However, she did not return the book back to it's original shelf. Holding it to her chest, Anice thanked Skye for allowing her to borrow it and had a somewhat-satisfied look on her face. Mio realized that Holly seemed very uncomfortable, and decided that it was about time to return to the surface.

Skye simply nodded quietly before raising from his seat. Truthfully, he had just developed a habit of treating Anice with a little more casualty than the others. Sure, he was tired, but not so tired that he would forget the etiquette that he had basically drilled into his head for years. He could see that Anice was clutching onto the book, even if Mio had told him that they had no use for it. Of course, those spells were really good for healing, among other things, but it was a risky thing to use until the new moon, which was in four days. Nonetheless, he understood Holly's nervousness, and that Anice seemed to do things with a silent language rather than with words, so he allowed it, and walked towards the staircase. "I will expect that book to be in good condition when it is returned to me. Though it may look new, it is over four hundred years old. Please treat it with respect." He said before activating the dark brown markings that stained the floor. He had drawn a symbol in his blood one day, since Mayia had wanted to come down here to do a little research of her own. He had a feeling that something like this would happen, when he would have to take multiple people up to the surface with him.

"All four of you, please step within the circle. We will be leaving momentarily." He said lowly. It was times like this that Skye would have needed to sleep. He usually didn't need to, but there was always one stressful month. When that came, he would have to sleep, and would force himself into a quiet slumber. Of course, Mayia was in his bed right now with Hunter. He would have to wait until she was well until he could do anything of the sort... Sleeping off the dark aura that he could feel surrounding him.

Anice nodded and held on to the book, clutching it as if taking care of it was like her life depended on it. However, the book did seem very fragile, yet it had a strange sense that surrounded it. Then, as Skye said, Mio, Anice, Syn and Holly stepped into the circle. It wasn't everyday where you walked into a large, brown circle that allowed you to leave the underground. Holly seemed like she was in a hurry to leave, as well. From underground, it was hard to tell whether the storm was still going on or not, and if Hailey had made it back to the village. It wasn't long before they returned to the surface, and Syn had suspected that Mayia was still sleeping like a rock.

Once everyone was in the circle, Skye walked in and right to the middle before muttering a world of another worldly language. It was a demonic word that caused the dried blood that made the circle glow a crimson red before each person dematerialized, starting with Holly. Skye knew that Holly would peobably run if she saw the others disappear. At the end of it all, when Skye was the last to vanish, everyone who remained there her appeared back in the cabin, now only a light rain outside with no thunder or lightening to dampen the mood. Mayia was no longer asleep, though, her hands to her ears at the corner of the bed. She hadn't nooticed that anyone had come back, but something was wrong. Hunter wasn't at her side anymore, and she was hiding under the blanket, trying to keep calm as she whimpered quietly.

As soon as they were back at the cabin, they all immediately realized that something was dreadfully wrong. Mayia was cowering at the corner of her bed as if an evil being was hiding in the shadows, ready to attack. The rain had ceased, but it somehow created an even more eerie atmosphere. Mio and Anice looked at each other worryingly, then turned to face Skye. Words were not needed to to convey the feeling of fear. Syn then spoke, hobbling over to the bed. "Mayia! W-What happened!?" he asked in a hurry, stumbling over his words.

Mayia flinched upon hearing a voice and silenced herself from screaming, pulling the blanket closer to her. "Get away! J-Just give him back! Give him back to me!!" Mayia yelled, her voice getting weaker as she tried to edge away. Of course, she couldn't move very far. Skye was looking into her thoughts right now, just watching her movements and listening to what her thoughts were screaming. He could feel just how scared she was. "Master is here..." Skye said lowly and carefully, looking out the window. Hailey was there, fighting something. Mayia was only inside because she was ordered to stay there. Skye had to be careful not to say it too loudly, or Mayia just might break down upon hearing that.

Outside, there was a man who looked feminine. Skye's master, and he was holding Hunter by the neck while Hailey tried to attack him without hitting the wolf. She knew that the wolf was kind, since that wolf had saved before, when she had been trapped in the mountains. Skye couldn't go out there, or he could risk attacking the others. "I must go... Please, do not try to fight him..." Skye was still weak, but if he must, he would run away. He had to run away. Slipping out the door, he vanished, using what energy he could to get away from here before he could just start getting away from here.

Upon hearing what Mayia said to him, Syn backed up and knew that they were all in trouble. "What?" Mio wondered confusingly. "What's going on.....His master?" she muttered to herself. Looking out the window, they saw Hailey who was trying her best to defend herself from the strange man and Hunter, who looked to be in deep trouble. "Hailey!" Holly cried out. "What is happening? Who is that?" she asked Skye forcefully. Unfortunately, Skye had escaped from the cabin without a moment's notice. Before Mio could run out the door and help Hailey, Anice grabbed her arm and shook her head, reminding her of what Skye said. "He looks too dangerous." the silent girl repeated. It pained them to realize that there was not much they could do without harming the wolf nor Hailey. "Where did that Skye run off to!?" Mio asked, not directing the question to anybody, but rather herself.

Then, without warning, Holly ran out of the cabin on impulse and attempted to attack the stranger. She was a rather intelligent hunter, so she had a know what she was doing. Holly had extraordinary persision out in the forest, however, she was ruthless.

Mayia continued to snivel and cry at the corner of the bed. She seemed to have broken, because she didn't really recognize anyone in front of her. She wouldn't open her eyes, because she didn't want to see what was going to happen. She was still too weak to fight, and she couldn't bring herself to do it anyway. She was too scared to let anything close to her. In her head, she knew that Hunter was the only one that would come close to her while she was like this. Him, or Skye. People that she trusted. She buried her face in the blanket, her body shaking while she waited. She couldn't even hear the others' voices anymore. She couldn't make out any words, only mucky versions. They were all blurred out. It scared her...

Meanwhile, as Hailey tried to fight, her leg had been injured as she tried to run away in the storm. She was lucky, because Hunter head come for her again when he sensed that something was wrong. He only left Mayia for a few moments before that man came, and when Hunter came back, that man too him by the neck and started this whole thing. He had been looking for Skye. "Tell me! Tell me right now!! Just what is it you want with him?! You don't need to hurt the wolf to get to your minion!" Hailey barked, charging forwards but forced to stop halfway because of her battered leg. Hunter was squirming and whining. He couldn't breath. Even though he was far larger than the man, this man was able to strangle him with only one hand. The way he was holding his throat was painful, and the sound was breaking Mayia's heart. He couldn't get free... And the man just laughed in refusal to answer Hailey's questions.

Mayia was obviously hurt and scared, but watching her shiver in fear only made Syn feel worse. "M-Mayia. Are you okay? Obviously not.....but it's okay! Everything is going to be okay....." he said, but then paused. "I hope." It wasn't a surprise to himself if he was making her feel worse. However, there wasn't much he could do but comfort her the best he could. "You don't have to be afraid. We're going to save Hunter and rid of that man, okay?" he hesitantly said.

With rage, Holly lunged at the man with a sharp branch that had seemed to only recently fall from a tree. "Let him go!" she yelled, "If you don't have any business with us, just leave!" Unfortunately, Holly knew that he was not going to leave any time soon. She stood in front of Hailey, her arms spread out to protect her sister, seeing that her leg was hurt. The man was not answering her questions, and that made Holly furious.

Slowly, Mayia raised her head. Hearing Syn speak so much eventually got her to recognize his voice. She cried a little harder, though, putting her hands to her face. Now she knew that they were there, she was relieved, but she was still scared for Hunter. There wasn't anything she could do. The man told her not to move, so she wasn't going to stand up with him still around. She would only be in the way anyway. "Syn... Please..." Mayia didn't say anymore. She could barely breath from all this.

When Holly came out of nowhere to stab the mysterious man, Hailey ran over to his other side and forced him to drop Hunter by trying to snap his wrist. He had dropped Hunter, but his bones didn't break... Hailey was always able to snap the bones of any creature if she had the intention, but why wasn't he fazed?... Hailey jumped back, only to have her sister come to protect her, and Hunter come running to her side, hacking from having been choked. The man wouldn't speak, and came closer. His feet weren't touching the floor. It was almost like the wind itself was carrying him.
