Mio sighed again. She looked back at Lex and told the kids to go back and not mind the drunks. She turned back to Knight. "Well this group of whatevers are always like this at night. You probably already know this since you like to spy on us for a living." She said sarcastically.

Anice looked at the person in front Mio and wondered who he was.

Knight laughed and held his hands behind his head. "Well it's amusing." He said, his smile never leaving his face.

The kids ran back home and the parents took their children inside. Everyone else just watched, wondering who the stranger was. Natsume came out of his tent, watching the scene but not saying a word. His glare narrowed on the stranger. Everyone else ran inside the second Natsume came out and turned his head towards the stranger.

"Well, everyone is going to think I'm smuggling something with you. Our leader just came out and he's going to be asking questions. Let's go, Anice." Mio waved at him and left, hoping no one would seem curious.

Anice stood there. She stared at the stranger and then looked at his face. "Anice." She simply said. Then she turned around and walked, following Mio back home.

Natsume didn't speak and just walked up to the man, a narrowing glare fixed on the stranger. Knight just smiled at him then held out a hand. "The name's Knight. Knight Akitora." He said in a friendly manner. Natume raise his eyebrow for a second then took Knight's hand and chuckled a bit. "Heh. No one's ever just introduced themselves before." Natsume said in a low voice, smiling. The people of the town gasped and stared wide-eyed. They just couldn't believe it. Natsume never smiled after his family and friends died 20 years ago. [Natsume is 24] "I'm Natsume Black. The leader of this drunk hole." He chuckled and let go of Knight's hand, leaning back. "You're here because?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at Knight.

Knight shrugged and laughed a bit. "Your drunk hole here is amusing." He said simply, sharing a laugh.

Mio was not far away enough and overheard part of the conversation. She turned around and pointed at him from afar, giving him a sign that said 'Watch it'. She turned around again and walked back to the hut with Anice. Mio was confused. He never talked to strangers or even smiled. If he ever did, why is it at Knight? He's just an arrogant, spying boy. Well I guess it's not my choice to who he talks to. Everybody else was thinking the same thing. They wondered if the stranger was special.

Knight just held his hands behind his head and chuckled as they talked, Natsume laghing along with it with his arms crossed loosely. Knight just shrugged and stepped back. "Then I'll see you for training tomorrow then huh?" He said with a friendly smile. Natsume nodded and waved a bit. "Meet down at the field. We'll start there." He said stepping back, turning on his heels and heading back to his tent. Knight nodded and before anyone could come close enough to yell or throw questions at him, he vanished like a ghost. He appeared back at the lake and stretched tiredly, laying by the water and staring at the sky. The moon almost full, but not quite. Knight just smiled softly and his eyes grew soft. "Tomorrow it is. Once a month is... just not enough." He said smiling to himself.

The people of town were baffled. They had no idea what to do and throughout the time, everyone began gossiping and talking about who the stranger might be. Katie, the village's most known gossip girl, went up to Mio and Anice's place. "Hey, did you here? The guy who talked to the leader was some kind of ghost! Wow! Isn't that cool?" She said in high hopes.

Mio chuckled. "Ghost? I don't think he was a ghost. Can you talk quietly? Anice is sleeping." Mio decided to just play along with her for now. "Maybe he wasn't a ghost...but a shape shifter! He could be a shape shifting ghost that likes to talk to leaders of villages! He could be one of Natsume's old old friends! Well I'll talk to you later, I should sleep now." Katie nodded excitedly and left.

Syn had heard what was going on. He thought, There's a ghost in town? Why would Natsume smile at him? Weird...

Katie ws just running around town, spreading it around.

Darone wasn't so sure and just leaned on the wall just by the gate of town, shaking his head. "Stupid..." He muttered, glaring at the peope who passed by.

Mio and Anice both went to sleep, ignoring the ghost rumor. Since Mio already knew who he was, she laughed.

Syn did not believe that their leader would befriend and actually smile to a ghost. It had to be a person.
