Dipper yelped as he watched two cats speed across the road, one chasing the other and hissing loudly. "Mabel, do you ever realize how weird this part of town is?" He muttered a bit under his breath, looking around. They weren't even far away from school yet, not at all.

Mabel saw the two cats chasing each other and smiled slightly. "Well... It's not as strange as Gravity Falls, isn't it?" she asked as they continued walking

Dipper shrugged, walking onto the trail in the forest, which was a shortcut to their house. Suddenly, something appeared in front of them, causing Dipper to jump back. It was Brooke, hanging upside down from a tree by her legs. "I told you I'd see you later," She joked, crossing her arms.

Mabel followed Dipper into the forest and jumped seeing Brooke hanging down from a tree. "HOWDIDYOUKNOWWEGOTHISWAYHOME?!" she yelled

Brooke shrugged, still hanging. "I didn't." She muttered. "This is usually where I come right after school." Dipper widened his eyes, thinking for a second. "You mean, here? Here? How do you find this comfortable?! This is the strangest place in town, and--" Brooke rolled her eyes as he started talking about something random, and put her finger up to his lips, causing him to blush. "Be quiet, will you?" She chuckled. "There are cougars around here, you know."

"Oh," Mabel said in a small voice. "What? Cougars aren't as bad as the stuff in the Gravity Falls forest," she added, laughing softly. "So, what's up?"

Brooke bit her lip, looking up above her. "Leaves." She chuckled, looking back down at Mabel and Dipper. Flipping forwards, she quickly hopped off of the tree, grinning at them with a lowered eyebrow. "Well, since we don't have any homework," She sighed, putting her hand on her hip, the other one in her pocket. "Can I show you something?" Dipper bit his lip, looking around at Mabel and nodding slightly. "Yeah...right, Mabel?"

Mabel snickered softly. "Yeah, that'd be cool!" she exclaimed, nudging her brother in the ribs when Brooke wasn't looking. "What is it?"

Dipper held his breath for a second, and sighed. "Nothing," He murmured, looking back at Brooke. When Mabel wasn't looking, she playfully winked at him, causing his face to turn red. Tensing, he glanced at Mabel before he followed her deeper into the woods.
