Doctor Who RP- 1x1 with LuckySmarts and lil28

He glanced at her. "Has this..happened before?" he asked, trying to distract himself.

[lil28]

"Yeah. Remember I told you my companion was tortured before he was tossed aside? Well, I tried to get him, but the system failed halfway." She sighed.

[tricks]

He paused. "..Oh." They had both lost their companions this way. "Sorry."

[lil28]

"It's fine." She wiped her eyes. "And you've got yourself stuck with Carsile too."

[tricks]

He sighed. "....Don't worry. I'm sure I'll annoy him enough to let me go eventually. It was worth a try." He glanced away, taking uneven breaths and trying not to cry.

[lil28]

She wiped her eyes sadly. "Yeah... suppose that'll work."

[tricks]

He sighed, biting his lip. He just gave her a nod. He was afraid if he spoke he would start to cry.

[lil28]

"Wait. George, what's that?" She asked, pointing at a screen.
"Doesn't work." He said.
"It does, actually. You just never understood it was mentally turned on," she played with it for a mement, before it switched on and showed the interior of some kind of machine, like a brighter version on the Doctor's TARDIS. "Hello? Hello?" George poked his head next to her. "Reckon it could even hear us?"

"What is that mumbling?" Enigma asked, standing up.

[tricks]

He looked up. "You heard it too?" He stood up beside her. "Erm....it sounds like it might be coming from your TARDIS."

[lil28]

"God, I hope I closed the door." She rushed off, dragging the Doctor behind her and into the TARDIS.
"Hello? God, maybe I was wrong about this thing working." Animine sighed and George nodded. "Well, you got it turned on."
