"No, but I think I might as well." She said, sitting beside him.

He smiled. "I'm glad someone else around here has some sense."


He picked p the book carefully, like he might be stung if he touched it. He ripped out a page with the blue box. "I have to find it," he whispered. "Maybe then everything will make sense."

[lil28]

"Sense? None at all. I just want to forget." She said dismally.

[tricks]

Jake looked past her. "And there he goes," he said with slurred words and a smirk. "Crazy old Mayor John." John Smith sprinted past the pub, the paper clutched n one hand and the TARDIS key in the other, a frantic look on his face. "I always thought he was a bit loopy."

[lil28]

She smacked Jake's arm. "He is still our Mayor, Jake" Animine scolded, feeling the urge to go after him. Hell. Why not? She got up, sprinting after him.

[tricks]

"Yeah, still," Jake muttered. "Where are you going?"


John stopped and looked around, peering into alleyways and behind shrubbery frantically. "I've got to find it!" he said to himself.

[lil28]

"Some where mad." She told Jake, before following John Smith. "What are you looking for?"

[tricks]

Jake took another swig of beer, unimpressed.

John jumped in surprise and turned around. "It's you." He relaxed. "I'm looking for the blue box," he said urgently.

[lil28]

She looked at him, confused. "Why would you look for it?"

[tricks]

"Because I think it might be real," he answered, a bead if sweat rolling down his forehead. "And maybe if it's real, and we see it, our memories will come back. Everything will be explained."
