Bella looked at him. "He's beautiful," she said.

Jesse nodded. "I know."

Aidan nearly collapsed into his arms sobbing.

Bella yawned. "I'm never gonna be able to move again," she said.

Jayden held him tightly, crying into his shoulder. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to get sick."

Jesse laughed softly. "You will."

"I don't want you to die," Aidan cried.

"Don't laugh! It's not funny! If you had to do what I just did you wouldn't be laughing," Bella said smirking playfully.

Jayden sighed. "I'll be around for a while, baby. They said it's not too bad. I still have most of my lung capacity. I gave twenty to thirty years in me at this rate."

Jesse sighed, rubbing her side. "I thought you left me."

"Twenty to thirty is not enough for us!" Aidan said. "I don't want to live if I don't have you with me," he said.

Bella closed her eyes. "I wasmt going to make it much longer. I couldn't handle it anymore," she said.

Jayden sighed. "I'm here now, though," he said.

Jesse sighed. "I know. I was so scared."

"But I'm here," Bella said. "I'm in excruciating pain...but I'm here," she said.
