Toshiro nods. "How far away is the village? If it's not to far, I can lead an assualt to rescue the eggs without being to far from my mate. However it's too far away I would like to find a closer spot for my mate and the egg to hide," he comments. He looks at Noland. "And it was always my plane to leave with him," he adds with a nod. "And I am truly sorry for your heart break. I can't imagine the type of pain you both must be feeling," he whispers, laying a comforting hand on the she-wolf's shoulder.

Michael nods and stands up. "I didn't mean to upset you. You got this and I'll be there for you if anything does happen," he says, trying to reassure the angel.

[Alpha*]

Eyes widen in surprise and both wolves stare at him; "the village.. the village is beyond the gap. Your mate can stay in my den." Anna finally says (to the astonishment of NoLand, his mate absolutely hates questions!) His hand isn't pushed off, and the she-wolf instead pulls the boy close, hugging him, "Thank you. " Abruptly Anna let's him go, "we should go back to your mate." That said she turns and shifts form.

NoLand stares after her a moment. "She likes you. " Is admitted thoughtfully, "you probably don't know this... but she made you her, our, packmate." Then, he too turns in the darkness and changes his skin until he is a gray ball of floof.

Morag nods mutely; Pantera should reject him. "Thank you. "

Max pads over to the elves door, knocks - (sometime during the previous conversation) - and then curls up next to Pantera. The shifter pulls him close, nose in his hair, let's out a sigh and falls asleep.

The small young woman had killed another of the vile creatures that haunt the shadows. Then, she sits beside the egg tiredly - exhaling heavily she pets the hard material that makes the egg up. "You know little one, your egg is so big, about as large as me. I wish you could be smaller, at the very least. " is whispered, "I could keep you safer that way." Fingers brush dust from the shell and then she is on her feet with a snarl at a sound in the shadows. Nothing appears.

When the girl turns back the egg has changed size; Is that a dragon thing to do? (It's the size of an ostrich egg, though slightly longer). "O my little one." Is muttered, gathering the egg into her arms and against her chest in awe and love. "My little one. So perfect. " The blade is still held in one hand and she hums lowly a melody that the angel had sang to her.

Toshiro nods. He gives Noland a slight smile. He turns to follow the wolves, his steps barely above a whisper of wind. He is quick to catch up to Anne before taking the lead knowing Ammonia will react better when she sees him. He slows to a walk once he smells the scent of blood and fire. He peers into the cave, a breath of relief releasing from his lungs at the sight of Ammonia and the egg unharmed. He moves into the light of the fire, a rumbling purr vibrating in his chest to make himself known. "We have cleared the hoarde. Noland's mate, Anne has informed me that the rest of the eggs were taken by the goblins. We are going to move you to Anne's den and then me and the w were are going to rescue the eggs," he explains to Ammonia as he kneels before her. He isn't too surprised to see the egg size different. He just rules it as the dragon's ancient magic reacting to the situation at hand. Smaller is better right now. It'll be easier to transport and carrier.

Michael nods as he stands up and stretches his arm. "I think lunch time would be a good time to speak to Pantera. I just remember he should resting. Him and Max should be up by then," he says, moving towards the door of their shared room. He pauses by the entrance waiting on Morag. He turns to offer the angel a smile.

Pantera stirred slightly at the distance sound of a knock, but his exhaustion is too much to allow him to fully wake up. He shifts when somebody settles next to him. A breathe whispers from his lips as he falls back asleep

Ammonia had continued humming, eyes watching for signs of creatures who would do harm and for her mate. When he arrives she wears relief; "you're back!" She leans forward and hugs her mate tightly with one arm. "Are you injured?" Is asked quietly, not letting him go.


NoLand pads after the duo, listening for any chance pursuers and quietly cleans up their trail. He arrives shortly after his mate and the dragon. Anne shakes her head; "you can rest in my den, but the floor has fallen between my den and the village. You'll have to cross the divide first. " the she-wolf nods confidently to herself, the scrape on her cheek healing. "At my den your mate can have some clothes and shoes. Little human why would you come down here?"

"I... I was asleep I think. I woke up here." The girl whispers, eyes full of worry for her mate and egg. "You won't leave me behind, will you mate? Please. Where you go, I go." When Toshiro mentions more eggs though she blinks in surprise and joy.

Babies. Her babies.

"I have some stew there too, " Anne continues crouching beside the fire and holding her fingers to the flame. "We can plan there."

NoLand stands guard; he wouldn't argue with his mate. She knows down here far better than he does. However, he does add in a few words, "the gap mate, would it -" He doesn't have to finish the sentence.

She is quiet, "there is a way down, and up the other side. I don't know how high the roof is dragon, just that arrows have never landed on the other side. I've found them broken at the bottom. " She hesitates, sharing a question mentally with NoLand. "There are ... things down there though. Arachnids. " Is whispered- too quiet for the human to hear. "I've gone down a few times, it takes two moon rises to traverse, if you don't meet them."

Morag stops walking; he knows he wouldn't talk to Pantera if he waits... but his bonded is right. The Elf is probably asleep. He exhales slowly, "you're right. " He turns and walks back into their room, settles back on the bed. Then the human smiles and the angel offers a slight one in return.

Toshiro hums in thought at the new information given to him. "I've never really used it before but I can summon my dragonic wings without needing to shift fully. I would only be able to carry one person unfortunately if I were to stay human. If I can shift into my dragon form, then I can bring both," he informs while Anne and Noland discussed the trench. He looks over at Ammonia. He places a comforting hand on her back and gives her a soft earnest smile. "I'll save them," he vows to everybody in the alcove with him.

Michael sits down in a chair by the bed. He looks around, humming slightly as he thinks. "I wonder what we are allowed to do, I don't think I'd manage sitting around in a room all day without going crazy," he says, trying to cheer up the angel with his bad humor.

[Alpha*]

NoLand stares for a moment, astonished by the information- while his mate takes it all in stride. "I think you should try without carrying anyone first." He says, turning his head away, focusing on the dark corridor.

Ammonia blushes; had he heard her possessive, joyful thought about the eggs? "Shiro, let's go to her den first." Is said, "and plan better."

Anne nods quietly, gathering up her mates things and then stretching. "Indeed, we can rest while we are there too." She then takes NoLands things in her jaws, shifts forms, and waits for them to follow her.

Morag snorts at the others' humor. "I'm certain we can talk to someone and find something to do. Come on." He rises again, stretching out a hand.

Toshiro nods. He turns, grabbing the extra shirt he had used to secure the egg. Once again, he ties the now smaller dragon egg to Ammonia's back before turning and crouching down to let her climb on his back. He glances up, watching the other were as they gather everything else. "Sounds like a plan," he agrees softly.

Michael nods and grins. He takes Morag's hand and let's the angel help him stand. "Good, because I will gladly default to acting like a bored child until o get something to do," he says with humor thick in his voice.

[Alpha*]

Ammonia climbs onto his back, the oversized boots falling from her feet. "Toshiro," is began as he starts walking, "do you think they will like me? The dragon baby in this egg. " Is asked, substituting like for love. "I'm just a human now." What could she offer? Love?

NoLand takes the boots, knotting their laces together he hangs them around his neck. "Just follow me." Is stated gently, and he begins to shift forms. Soon he is trotting into the darkness after his mate. Maybe an hour later they are at a cavern with a wooden door and a small chimney. He strides through the doggy door and stretches before changing forms back to human.

Anne looks up from putting some sort of mushroom into her stew; she smiles faintly, and then opens the regular door in the darkness - illuminating the outside. "Be welcome to our hearth." She greets, standing aside with a nod.

Morag does laugh at that; "you're young." Is answered with a smirk, "I'm much older than you. " They are almost to the hallway that leads up and he is still barefoot. "Do you cook, little human?" Questions the angel, "or perhaps they have a library?"

Toshiro follows after Noland with ease. He glances back over his shoulder at his mate. "They will. Dragons were seen as gods almost when they ruled the earth. They were powerful, with strong magic. Ancient times were nicer to dragons. Then a war happened that nearly wiped them out. That egg. It's magic bonded to you. When the hatchling hatches it will immediately know you as it's mother. Besides, you'll have me. I can teach them how to fly, hunt, and be dragons. You can teach them how to read, speak, and interact with others. You'll be an amazing mother," he assures, a rumbling purr vibrating in his chest to soothe his mate. He pauses when Noland disappears, it isn't long before a door open showing Anne. He greets her back softly, stepping through the door. He pauses to let Ammonia down. When she is off his back he stands behind her and carefully removes the egg so she can hold it.

Michael laughs with Morag. "I know I know. I'm just saying," he says with a grin. He nods. "I can make us food and then we can ask one of the other were about a library," he responds.

She exhales, her fears dissapating; indeed, she does have him. "You'll be an amazing father." Is whispered, "and you'll have me." The girl falls quiet, dozing on her mates' back, her cold nose against his shoulder. When they arrive she blinks and squints against the light, and mumbles a sleepy protest. When he puts her down and hands her the egg, she leans against him and holds her baby close. "Thank you. " Is said to the wolves, entering their home. Ammon lays the egg on a pillow, and sits beside it before pulling her knees up.

NoLand is lazing against something akin to a couch, lazily mending a pair of pants. "Welcome. " He pays no mind to his mate handing their child to the half dragon boy. Instead, he stands. "Come little human, I'll get you some clothes. "

Anne smiles again, "food will be ready soon." Is assured, she knows that it is evening now. How long had they been in these caves? "I think you should sleep the night, eat and rest." She dissapears into the other room for a few minutes, when she returns she's holding a baby. "This is Akul." Without stopping to ask she places the baby in Toshiros' arms, showing her trust in the dragon she'd made their packmate. "Akul, our son, was born three moons ago on the 20th." She immediately turns back to the stew, adding in carrots and potatoes.

Ammon scoots the pillow closer to her mate before standing, then, she follows the wolf into the other room. Then, the wolf comes out of that room - retaking his seat on the couch - and a little while later the girl returns too. She's garbed in soft brownish wool and leather garb. Her boots are hard soled but lightweight and go to her knees. "Thank you Anne, NoLand." Is said before finding a spot next to Toshiro. When did he hold a baby? It's super cute! Her cheeks heat with a blush.

"I'm not... hungry." He says blandly, "I was considering things that may entertain you, is all." The angel says allowing his human bondmate to lead the way. "Kitchen is this way." He points.
