hile trying to take notes Elijah let out a little huf between annoyance and amusement at Andy's attempts at amusement. Elijah's tail unraveled from the brace, flicking away from the contact and he glanced over at Andy. "Stop you're being distracting." He hissed, though couldn't help the smirk on his lips as he looked over at Andy. His tail raveling back around the brace.

he human body on average is capible of recirculating air in the blood, and holding its breath, for aproximitly fifteen minutes before passing out. It takes five minutes to cause brain damage in icy lakes, far less in an area such as a pool. If the body begins to retain water instead of air, it's first instinct it to shut down, cut all circulation of the new element to keep from pumping pure water to the heart. With water in the lungs the fifteen minutes drops to about five, with panic in the victim, even less. Elijah had read that after the boat had crashed, when he was starting to study for a career in medicine. The trauma caused by such an event can often cause a heart to stop, and if CPR is not administered after a certain amount of water is retained, it is often fatal.

lijah felt his mind blurr, trying to focus. He felt Andy hug him, but pulled back, blinking his eyes open. The world rocked slightly, to be expected from being light headed, and his eyes fell on Andy the second he opened them. He let a frown pull at his mouth, taking a few more shaking breathes he reached out, noticing how Andy moved. "Your arm." He said, then coughed more, bringing a hand up to his chest. His breathing was starting to return to normal, though was still short and labored. He reached out and gently ran his fingertips over Andy's arm and up his shoulder. From what it looked like it was a fracture near the muscle tendons, though Elijah Wasn't sure, it could even be a break. Elijah looked around, there was a lot of yelling and the four boys were standing off to the side, rambling about how they didn't know he couldn't swim, he fell in, they tried to catch him but couldn't, and that Andy had randomly punched one of them. They all looked panicked, like they were the ones who almost drowned. Elijah felt an annoyed sigh catch in his throat as he saw the paramedics.

ith a soft moan Elijah glared up at the ceiling as the paramedics did there thing. He smiled a little at Andy when he took his hand. Honestly he was okay, or was going to be, but they obviously didn't believe that until they checked him a million and a half times. Elijah wanted to just tell them to go away, but it was there job and honestly that would be mean. Elijah sat up on the stretcher, despite being told to lay down. He felt okay now, still woozy, but fine. After the paramedics checked basically every inch of Elijah to make sure he was breathing and such, making him feel claustrophobic, they begged him to come to the hospital. Elijah let out a little laugh, shaking his head, technically they couldn't force him to go, since his vital signs were back to normal. Elijah ran a hand through his wet hair, getting off the stretcher the second he could. After a few people walked over, a lot of girls and some guys, all reaching over to pat Elijah on the shoulder or ask him if he was okay. All he wanted was them to stop looking at him so he could get some air, he was getting claustrophobic and moved as close to Andy as he could, which really wasn't a big help given all the girls telling Andy he was a hero and blah blah blah. Elijah found it all extremely annoying.Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 1 guest
