Lilly got up in the morning, she rolled out of bed still tired from last night. She hadn't got much sleep. It have only been a year since she had to take the test but still each day it killed her inside with worry that at any moment a letter, a sign would come and her world would be different forever. She never found attraction to boys. She just wasn't ready and she didn't like knowing she would be forced. Lilly had no care for her aunt and uncle yet she still couldn't bare the idea of them being killed because of her. They keep telling her it's a privilege and a great honer if a match is found which tends to always happen, but how can being forced with someone and having to marry them an honer? What about true love? Finding your true soul mate? Lilly shock her head and pushed all those thoughts away. She got changed and went to her bedroom door. Locked. It was normal for this, she was a prisoner in her own house. From her window she could see kids go to school but she never got to go. She would love to one day but it seemed it would never happen now. She suppressed a sigh and sat back on her bed. What if the man she got was some creep who was ugly and rude? Some type of jerk? She shivered thinking about it. All she knew right now was that she was Lilly Vine and no one could take that from her. She was the one and only. After about half an hour her aunt came into the room finally to let Lilly out. What was the point in saying thanks? It wasn't worth it, but she had to. Here it was considered an award to be let out. Lilly often thought of jumping form the window but that would have been a bad idea. 1. They were very high up, 2. Her fantastically hated aunt and uncle had placed spikes down there. The spikes they install in small areas, and ledges. To keep homeless people or kids from chilling out in the areas. Heading downstairs she kept her gaze low. Her cousin was over today. Fara was a jerk and was worse then Lilly's aunt and uncle.
"Guess what!" Fara smirked, she was so pretty, flawless. She may have been a bit older but she still looked very young. Any guy would kill to be with her. She must have been the popular one in school. Lilly didn't answer though. She was shy and didn't like to say all that much. Must have come from being alone so much.
Owen held up a paper, seeing it and knowing the stamp tears already begun to come to Lilly's eyes. Own smiled. "You have been called" He opened the letter as Sarah forced Lilly to sit and told her to stop the water works.
Own read aloud:
"Lilly Vine, we are proud to say we have found the perfect match for you. You will meet Tyler Spade tomorrow at the Chester Fern"
Lilly whipped her eyes quickly trying to calm down to stop the yelling. She had no idea where this place was and who this person was. She thought she could have been lucky and never have had a match. Now her life was going to change and she was not ready and did not want this at all.

Cole walked the halls at the school with Eric, Tyler, and Dimitri. He was curious as to where Justin had fled off. He was getting worried because he had not seen his friend for nearly a week and that was never a good sign. Justin had not answered any of text or calls. He frowned as he walked trying to guess places he may have gone but nothing came into mind. Because of his confusion and thinking he walked straight into one of the lockers full force.
Eric began to laugh his head off, he had seen it coming and didn't bother to say a thing. He craved for these moments all the time.

Tyler shoved Eric into another locker "Oh grow up dude" He said. His golden hair fell into his eyes slightly, he hadnt been the same since two weeks ago. Two weeks ago his mother had told him to be expecting his letter soon. 'Such a fine young man, and so handsome' She had said to him. With his golden hair and blue eyes, who wouldnt want him right? Wrong. There was something wrong with him. Something only Cole knew about. He didnt trust the others. Thats why he ran off so much, he couldnt always control himself. It was a problem he was having trouble solving...Cole had been trying to help him but it wasnt easy.
Dimitri shook his head "Do you have to act like a child all the time?" He said to Eric as he steadied Cole. "Come on, we have to get Tyler home before his parents freak out at us again. They are so afraid youre-Where did he go?" Tyler was now out of sight.

Cole had no care about Tyler's disappearance at the moment. He was after Eric. Cole retaliated and grabbed Eric harshly, he shoved Eric into the crowd. The girls let out startled screams and quickly stepped aside. The stayed to watch though. Eric caught his footing before he fell and turned to see a fist coming. "Woah!" Eric let out a noise at the surprise. He ducked at the last moment and twisted too stand again. Cole bared his teeth in anger and grabbed Eric once more, slamming him into another locker and tossed him like waste.

Kat heard the commotion and glanced at Evelyn, "Want to go see?" She asked excited, she loved to watch fights and see the action. She knew personally she never would be able to fight very well but that didn't matter. She was better in other areas. Such as swimming, but that was more of an only sport with only close friends.

"ENOUGH!" Dimitris voice bellowed above all, ringing of authority. His voice was strong and clear, demanding to be heard. He grabbed Coles jacket and pulled him away, stepping between them, he put a hand at Erics throat, holding him there, and keeping Cole in one spot as well, he was stronger than both of them. "Stop acting like 4 year old girls. and show some restraint. got it?"

Evie shook her head "I dont want to get involved in that...Besides. Its just petty drama, caused by teenage male hormones, to see who can over power the other and prove to be the superior male" She said and then quickly backtracked "I mean...i dont want to watch a bunch of guys beating each other up."

Cole cracked his jaw. He took deep painful breaths as he fought himself not to move. He wouldn't ever admit it to anyone but it was because he was scared to move. He was a born leader and he knew he had that trait. Cole knew this because whenever he would let someone else lead, in someway and somehow, by the end he was the one leading. Just Dimitri had over ruled him. Cole didn't know how it happened but it did and he knew not to challenge that. Not yet. He watched Dimitri with narrow eyes. His violet gaze stern. "He's not worth my time anyway" Cole spat. "He's like a bug"
Eric gripped Dimitri's wrist. He honestly had done very little wrong. Cole walked into the locker that was not his fault. One joke and the dude decided to let loose hell. He was on his tip toes in order to keep at height with Dimitri's hand.

Kat smiled brightly. "That was very wordy" She said admiring. "Too wordy. So whats the deal? A crush of yours that you can never have over there? Is it the little guy that seems kinda stupid?" Kat laughed enjoying this, "You never put down a fight!"
"No offense" Stella's voice came audible and she came in site walking like she was all that wit Cleo following behind. "But in case you haven't noticed Evelyn is just dirt. She is nothing. She's so worthless there will never be a match for her! Even a tree wouldn't want her!"
Kat rolled her eyes, "We weren't looking for your opinion Stella. We all know you were paired with a rat" Cleo let out a soft laugh after that and Stella glared, "Shut up!" Cleo did quickly. Stella used her hand to fix her hair. "I'm always right. Once I get Cole Walker you will all be sorry" She made a noise of annoyance and walked off. Cleo gave a small wave, "Bye"

Dimitri kept his gaze on Cole. "Go and find Tyler." He said "And calm yourself down. Eric isnt in the wrong here. You are." His voice was stern, "Got it?" Dimitri felt like he was always the adult one out of the group, the one always to break up the fights.

Evie sighed. "I am so sick of her. One day im going to take that pretty blonde head of hers and cram it into a blender and make a smoothie with it." Naturally Stella was a beauty, blonde, tall etc etc. Evie was the opposite. She had Black hair, wasnt that tall and was more built than Stella. Evie took a deep breath.

Cole fisted his hands. Anger still welling deep inside him. "You don't need-" He could find the courage in himself to be the big man here and stand up. ((Awe I don't want him to feel like he doesn't belong)) Cole forced a stiff nod. "Alright" He said instead. Cole backed up and he saw a lot of other students watching, they had just seen him be out spoken by someone else. Over ranked by someone else. Out done by someone else. He felt small inside now. This was him. He wouldn't let people see though. He would keep telling himself that he had won. Cole turned and left to go after Tyler.

Kat raised an eyebrow, "A smoothie huh?" She tried to hold it in but she couldn't. Kat laughed, "What's with you today? did you eat something that made you a super smart ass? I mean, normally the peanut gallery is my area!" Kat was falling off topic big. She glanced the way the two girls had gone. "Do you think..." She had calmed down now and become a bit more serious. "We should invite Cleo to hang with us?" She looked back at Evelyn to watch her expression and moments.
