Frey came up and sat beside me. He looked at Lola, then tears fell. "Tabitha..." He put his arms around me and Lola gently. He had been fixing breakfast for us I suppose, because I smelt bacon and pancakes.

I just cried harder as I turned to Frey and buried my face into his neck. I shook as I felt my ears and tail come out. They always did that when I got super upset... Or mad... Or happy, but, in this case, it was the first one.

Frey held me in his arms, gently setting aside his crutches and kissing my cheek. "Shh... She's safe now... She's happy. You know she wouldn't want you so upset, Love." He lovingly rubbed my back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, nodding softly as I took a deep breath to try and calm down. Instead of calming down, I coughed and continued to cry... Only a bit softer than before. He was right, but that didn't mean I didn't want her with me. Right beside me. Alive. . . Healthy. "I-I know." I managed to get out. I clenched my hands into fists as I tried to quit crying and shaking. Calm down, calm down, calm down!

Frey kissed my forehead, then he gently laid down beside me, taking me with him. He rubbed my cheeks, trying to clear my tears.

I curled up to him as I took another deep breath. Calm down, Tabitha. I quit sobbing, the tears still silently falling down my cheeks. I looked up at Frey, and then I brought my hands up to try and get all the tears out of my eyes... Unsuccessfully. I sniffed.

Frey got his shirt from on the inn table and he gently wiped my face. He kissed my cheek. "It's okay. I promise."

I let out a shudder, and then I quietly wrapped my arms around him and hid my face into his chest. "She...- She was just fine yesterday." My eyes closed. "And last month she was even running around again. . ." My chin trembled lightly.

"She's okay now. She's happy. She's probably running around with Technus' dad. You know... He was like her father." He wiped a strand of hair from my face.

I sniffed again. "Really...?" I looked into Frey's eyes.
