"Well do it once he's gotten over the fact that he may never see his father again, okay?" Frey stood up with help from his crutches, since I had accidentally pushed him down. He turned away and quietly limped towards Tabitha who was at the water fountain.

I stared at the ground. Quiet. After a minute I quietly went up to Technus and wrapped my arms around him. I sat down beside him. I gently pulled him to me, and then I gently rubbed his back.

Technus stood up. "I'm sorry Lilac..." He whispered, then walked to his dorm, shoulders slumped, and obviously not feeling good.

I watched him with a soft frown. Then I brought my knees to my chest, quietly watching the ground. I weakly set my head down, closing my eyes. I let out a soft sigh. Everything was going wrong and nothing was going right.

Frey

I leaned back against the nurse wall. Tabitha sat next to me with my hurt leg in her lap. "Yeah... Lilac pushed me over this morning." I told her quietly. "But I did deserve it." I managed a smile.

Tabitha shook her head. "I doubt it. She's been a bit cranky recently. You're okay though, right?" She looked at me with soft, worried eyes. Her hand was resting gently- very gently- on my leg.

"Yeah. I'm used to it." I leaned back, letting out a sigh. "I'm so tired..." I sat up some and put my arms gently around Tabitha. "Are you good?"

Tabitha nodded softly in reply. "You can go take a nap, you know." She leaned her head against my shoulder, and then she slipped her warm arms around me. "I'm a bit tired myself. I stayed up all night with Lola because she was sick. -Er." Her eyes slowly fluttered closed. She let out a small, cute yawn, and then she curled up to me, my foot still in her lap.

I carefully set my foot to the ground. "Let's go to my dorm, alright?" I whispered quietly.

Tabitha
I was up to a steady, annoying, high pitched noise. Then I realized that the normal pulsing of Lola's heart machine was gone. My eyes hot open, and I got to my feet, trying to run to the bed. I tripped over the couch stool, hitting my cheek on the edge of the couch. I ignored it as I scrambled to my feet and ran the rest of the way to Lola. I froze as I saw her. She was a shade paler then she had been last night... I felt the tears come to my eyes. I reached over and turned off the heart machine with a shaking hand. Then I crawled up next to my little sister and pulled her to me right as I fell apart, in tears. It was over... She was gone. She had lost the battle that she had been fighting for five years now.
