"A-ah..." Grim held his nose, which started bleeding. He looked up at me, then gestured to the window. I glanced over, and Technus was there at the bench with a book in his hands.

I looked from Technus and then back to Grim. I really wanted to go see Technus and apologize but... "You know what? I think we need to take you to the nurse first."
Naomi walked up. "Grim! Oh my gosh, what happened?"
"I hit him with the door..." I whispered softly.
Naomi looked at me. "What are you thinking?! You've got to be more careful, Lilac!"
"I-I know. I'm sorry. I was in a hurry, and I wasn't looking and-"
"That's not an excuse." Naomi crossed her arms, acting like she was my mother. Again. "You can't accidentally hit someone with a door."
"I'm sorry. . ." Man had it been a rough week. Actually, it had been a rough month. "I really didn't mean it."
"That's always your excuse, isn't it? You always say that you didn't mean to do it. Well guess what? I think you did." She lightly poked my collar bone. "You've been a real brat recently, Lilac."
My chin trembled. "T-That's just mean." I backed up.

"Naomi. She seriously didn't mean it." Grim got between us. "I was here looking for you and when the door opened I ran into it because I was looking." Grim said. He looked down at his hands. "Although the nurse sounds great..." He looked up at Naomi.

I looked at the back of Grim's head. He was sticking up for me?
"O-Oh. . ." Naomi quieted. "Well now I feel foolish. Come on, Grim. We need to go to the nurse so you don't bleed everywhere." She glanced at me, and then she quietly led Grim away. "You're okay, right?"
I sighed, sinking to the ground. I quietly looked over at Technus. How was I supposed to apologize?

Grim smiled at Naomi, and I heard him say, "I was watching you when I ran into the door." He laughed and put an arm around Naomi.
Technus sat up and looked behind him. Frey came up on his crutches, having just taken taken a shower. He looked at Technus and said something, then sat down next to Technus.
Technus closed his book and brought his knee up some. He watched Frey as Frey talked, then Technus softly nodded, looking down. He whispered something, then Frey put an arm around him. Tears came as Technus' shoulders shook.

I stood up. Why was he crying...? I quietly walked up to the two. I looked down at the ground. "Technus...?"

"He needs some alone time, okay?" Frey stood up. "I'm sorry..." Frey told Technus, then took my hand and grabbed his crutches, leading me away from Technus, who was in tears.

"No, wait. Frey. I have to tell him something. Let me go." I lightly pushed away from Frey.

Frey stumbled over some. He looked at me. "Lilac, give him some space before telling him you're sorry." He whispered. "Okay? He just heard some news..."

I looked back at Technus. "Can I not even comfort him...?" I looked back at Frey with a soft frown. "Frey, I have to do something."
