"Hey, Naomi." Grim then looked at me. "Is it feeling a bit better?" He asked softly.
I looked and watched Lilac go. "I can't complain if she won't even listen to me..." I whispered, then I stood up, then fall back down, holding my leg. I tensed up some. Ugh... I can't even go to her thanks so my stupid RSD...

"Technus, you really shouldn't try and move." Naomi said softly. "She'll live."
Lilac looked back at me, seeing me holding my leg. For a minute she just stood there, watching me with soft, worried eyes. Then, without a word, she turned and left. Her arms wrapped around herself, resting on her shoulders.
Naomi went down to her knees beside me. "Did you take your medicine?" She asked me.

"I ran out yesterday..." I whispered in reply. "I can't even follow her because of my stupid leg!" I shouted, eyes burning with tears. Then I let them fall. All of this stress of my crush having a grudge on me... Now this...?
Grim looked at me. "Hey... I already told you that I'd pay for your medicine..."

"Technus, it's okay." Naomi said gently. She gave me a hug. "Lilac's just stubborn. She'll get over it if you talk to her and maybe give her some flowers. Alive flowers. Like... A butterfly bush. Or some other type of flower. She loves lilies." She offered. "And you know what? Here's the money to buy it for her." She set a five in my hand. "She'll love it." Naomi gave me a smile, and then she wiped away my tears. "You're alright. Let's go get you your medicine, and, when it gets better, you can go talk to Naomi. Just do small, sweet things, and she'll be fine. Like opening the door for her, offering to help her with homework, maybe bringing her on a walk through the woods... That kinda thing. So come on. Grim, could you pick him up so he doesn't hurt his leg any further?" Naomi looked at Grim.

Grim nodded and swooped me up off the bench. See? I told you everyone would agree with me." He said.
I leaned against Grim, over my tears. I just watched the 5 dollar bill in my hand, trying to get everything off my mind. Then I looked at Naomi. "Thank you." I whispered to her.
Grim smiled at Naomi, his eyes shining slightly. "Yeah. Thank you Naomi."

Naomi nodded and smiled softly. She gave Grim a tiny, quick kiss on his cheek. "My pleasure, and thank you Grim for helping Technus. Now come on." She gently led us towards the nurse's office. "The sooner the better."

Grim's face turned pink, but he smiled wide, then followed happily. He held me in his arms. He looked down at me. "Do you think she likes me?"
I smiled a bit. "Yeah, Grim. Yeah I do." I leaned back against his arm.

Naomi kept on, pretending she didn't hear; however, she was close enough that she had to have heard... There was no way she didn't.

I just smiled and leaned against Grim. He was turning nicer. Just for his crush. Naomi.

I sat by the little waterfall that was in the woods (right off of one of the paths). My feet were in the water, and I quietly watched the little fish that came up to peck at my feet. It kinda... Tickled.
