Levi sighed. "I'd prefer a boy over girl, but whatever happens happens. I'm just not into all the stuff that comes with girls. I don't do dolls or tea parties. I hate girly things. I like hunting and fishing, mud and rocks, cars and motorcycles, and sports. How can I do anything like that if we have a girl? Girls don't like that stuff, and I'm not into doing girly things," he said.

"Girls can like that stuff too," she said. "You can't just GI by the stereotypes. What if we have a boy and he happens to want a tea party?" She sighed, setting her bowl down.

"That won't happen," Levi said. "Do you want him to end up like your dad?!" He said then stopped. "I'm sorry, that was rude and disrespectful. I apologize," he said. He was working on changing for Trinity and the baby's sake but he was struggling with everything.

Trinity's eyes watered. "So what if he is gay?!" She asked. "Are you going to leave us if he is? Or what if he ends up identifying more with the female gender, and is trans?!" She sighed and went to the bedroom.

Levi sighed going after her. "Trin please! I'm trying!" He cried.

Trinity sighed, sitting on the bed and crying. The door wasn't locked, so he could come in of he wanted. She just wanted to know that he wouldn't leave her and the baby. That scared her more than anything.

Levi walked in. "Trin I'm trying to change. I don't want to be a criminal anymore. I want to change for you and our baby. I wanna be a good dad and boyfriend. I really am trying," he cried. He rarely got emotional in front of anyone. He wouldn't even cry in front of Trinity, but he felt awful for what he'd said to upset her.

Trinity looked up at him, and sighed when she saw he was crying. "Come here," she said and opened her arms for him.

Levi wiped his eyes. "I'm fine," he said trying to act tough.
