She smiled, lightly taking the two books and hugging them to her chest loosely. "So James, what ever shall we talk about?", she asked, laughing lightly under her breath. He was too kind..

He shrugs, "I havn't an idea," is answered, normally the young man would talk about the weather.. not today. Golden eyes flash curiously as he watches her, and James continues walking. "Winter?"

She looked to him with a grin. 'I love Winter! I love the snow and the cold and just the serene beauty of it all... ", she said merrily, looking at her feet now so she wouldn't be a klutz and trip over the smallest of rocks.

James raises an eyebrow, "Sledding, snowmen, snow-ball fights, cocoa, crackling hearths.." he adds to the list with a cheerful smile. He wonders why she's looking at her feet but doesn't ask.

She smiled, looking up at him. "snow cones, snow angels, igloos, snow huts, just snow in generaaaaaa-", she was speaking and then her toe caught on a rock, sending her sprawling.

James catches her as she goes sprawling just before her face hits the ground by like three inches, he has caught her by her tunic with one hand - although he cannot say the same for the books in his and her hands. He rights her carefully, "Are you well?" is asked as keen eyes survey the girl for injury.

Her eyes are wide and she looks up at him. "Holy cripes James, you are a life saver!" she says and tries to calm down her quickened heartbeat. "Yeah... I'm fine thanks to you.", she said and ran her hand back through her hair. Baelevile ran her hand down her face, dragging her palm against her skin. "Gracious, quick reflexes...", she said and now bent down, picking up her books...

He can't hide the animal in his stare at the sound of her heartbeat quickening. "I'm glad," is rumbled as he lets her go, stooping to gather the items - perhaps that is the reason she had been looking at the ground, so she wouldn't trip. James smiles faintly, "Not human..wasn't really to begin with." is murmmered as a reminder.

She looks to him and nods. "yeah, but still.. you are like a ninja.", she said, standing with her things now, shoving some items that had fallen out back into her satchel. "But really, thank you a ton James.", she said and kicked her toes on the ground. She was sooo clumsy and he was perfect, she couldn't help but be embarrassed.

"Many years to practice, but thank you." Replies James with a shy smile to her. What was going on in her head? He.. he wants to know. The wolf watches her, "Its also an animal thing Bae, don't feel bad. It happens, yes, even to me."
