lucian: "what is it and what can i do to help. i dont like seeing you like this max, it really hurts to see you in pain." i was suprissed to see him when we were fighting bella. "why did you come out when you know you needed to rest?"

"It's nothing...just something I have had since I was born..." Max murmured "I'm fine I just need to rest and drink plenty of water and I should be better in a few days" he added. He hesitated with the last question "I thought you were in trouble...I was able to tell something was going on and I wanted to help but I was useless and couldn't even stand as soon as I got there. I'm so sorry"

lucian: "o-ok...just please dont strain yourself." i scoop max up and stand the chair back on its feet before setting max back in it under his blanket.

Max was a little surprised Lucian picked him up and fixed the chair putting him back on it. He almost didn't want to get out of his arms because they were so warm and kind. He knew he scared Lucian because of getting sick. In fact he was sure that it scared him more than Sarah. He shook the thought out of his head thinking that they were both equally worried...but why did he think that wasn't true? He sighed and fell asleep again trying to reserve his energy.

I walk to the kitchen and cook a thanks giving like meal. Lots of potatoes, a ham and Turkey, fruit salad and sweet potatoes.

Max stirred slightly and muttered something before opening his eyes. He got off the chair and glanced at Lucian before wandering into the kitchen using walls and furniture to help him get there. He was oblivious to the vampire that was in there. He just got a glass and filled it with water and sipped it slowly.
