Kalista seems to want to go find the woman herself, then remembers he'd said something about her...no longer being a threat? Shrugging, she wonders what else she can ask him. Shaking her head, she hums softly as she asks "Um...What else could you tell me?"

"She's dead." Rith says matter-of-factly. What else is there to say? He's spent his life hunting those who would hurt her. He loves her.

The realization makes his heart ache, but he sits up.

Kalista blinks as she looks at him, though she had not asked aloud for an explanation of where the womn was...Shaking her head, she sighs as she asks.

"Um...W-What did my mother look like? Sound like?"

And presses a memory of a rounder woman in a brown floral gown, rosy cheeks who'd insisted he simply must eat her apple strudel and mint tea. He chuckles fondly, "not much of a cook your mother, first time I met her .. I mean, that's what I showed you. She wasn't much for cooking but she did try."

Kalista hums as she tilts her head, nods at him. "Her name sounded...French?" she tries to hazard a guess, shaking her head at herself as she does. Tilting her head, she says "I...remember dad loved her cooking, no matter how messed up it looked, or burnt it came out..." She blinks as she crops up this new memory. "Um...Leslie and ran were my younger siblings by her?"

Rith blinks, "she was irish." Is answered uncertainly. He then considers the next answer, "I do remember that, but most times they would eat what the chef prepared, or went out." He tilts his head, "Leslie and Ran were indeed your younger siblings by her."
