Kalista huffs as she says "That...That is what I said, me and my family are, were, wolves..." Shaking her head, she look up again.

She sometimes hates it, but puts it out of her mind when he speaks again. She nods as she says "He'd...sleep on my bed?" She tilts her head as she glances at him.

"Oh.. my appologies, i.. " he shakes his head, dispelling the ideas. "Yes, he did. I remember your mother lamenting how you preferred the dog over her arms." Is chuckled fondly.

Kalista tilts her head as she looks at him, already over it and seeming far more interested in words spoken of the dog. She smiles as she says "Did...Did I have a good relation with them, though, my mother and father?"

Kalista hums as she looks at him, and nods as she tilts her head at him. "Wait! Did you come out of the forest disguised as a neighbor's dog once? I swear, that dog never was trustful enough to come near us..." Shaking her head, she remembers the gentle eyed Shepherd, but how the she dog never got too close to their property line.

"No." He growls at the memory. "That was.. well.. let's just say she was no friend. .. and no longer a threat." Green eyes blaze with surpressed rage - if hed just been faster. He could have kept Sara from reporting, stopped the loss of her family. .

Kalista shakes her head as she insists "The neighbors did have a dog though, one that was a beauty...She'd...often bark to Otis, as if to entice him, but skit away from us, and she..." She pauses a moment. "Oh God...Oh God, Rith, a...something dark came in the night and killed her! One of my baby siblings told me, I didn't believe them because I saw the dog again..."
