Doctor- No, Derpy, because a normal planet ORBITS a sun on an axis causing the shaded side to face away from the body at certain periods of time, but Equestria is.... special. It has geostationary orbit. It circles the sun, but at no axis. Celestia literally RAISES the sun upwards and lowers it downwards using magic. Which is crazy cool. Sorry, I went on a science rant, ANYWAY- I suppose we could always try.. poking her? If that doesn't work, poke harder?

"O o o, me first!" Amethyst said, kicking Celestia's side. "Is she awake?"

"You can't just kick her!" Derpy yelled.

Celestia sat up, looking around her confusedly. "What happened?" she asked, looking at the Doctor. "Don't I know you?"

(Well, they deserve it.. for surviving. Nearly all of them made it, and that's quite rare)

Doctor- Why yes, you do. *walks up to Celestia and caresses her face* I'm the pony in the box, 'don't forget me when you grow up'? And it seems you didn't.. Good girl. You've grown to be so beautiful.

(They do, and you did a great job with them =3 Do you know if the ones you released are doing well?)

"Well that ticks the sun box, good good. O wait, ah hell, forget it" Amethyst said, still playing with Celestia's mane.

"What are you doing? Stop that" Derpy said, hitting Amethyst's hoof away from Celestia.

"Of course! I do remember you, and thank you" Celestia said, before turning to face Amethyst. "What are you doing out here? Guards!" she called.

(D'aww! You sho shweet! *squeezes until you die of internal fracturing* No idea, haven't checked them. I reckon at least some of them are doing well, this batch is a strong one)

Doctor- I'm afraid that we've just had to save you from attack by some particularly nasty monsters, and a lot of your guards are dead. I'm so, so sorry (SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry!!!!) But we have to leave now. Amethyst, Derpy, get to the TARDIS. I'll deal with her.

"What do you mean? And what do you need her for?" Celestia asked, turning back to face the Doctor.

"I'm more of a freeloader, he doesn't need me, but I'm sure you don't want two of me, so I'll be off" Amethyst said, trotting out of the castle. "It was nice to see the old place, and sorry about Luna"

"O of course, Luna's Nightmare Moon here" Derpy said, following Amethyst out of the castle. "I forgot about that"

Doctor- Celestia, look at me. You can't tell anyone about me, tell the people that your guards died a noble death. Tell them that they died protecting you, which they did. And most importantly of all.. *waves his sonic screwdriver at her head, causing a mental re-association* Don't remember me. *a tear falls down his face, and once the mental re-association is complete, the Doctor wipes it off and wears a smile* The entertainment will be off now! I have been the inventor, thank you for watching!

"Thank you" Celestia said, looking at the Doctor confusedly. "You must return sometime to put on another show"

"So, what you're saying is that you forgot one of the most important parts of Equestria's history? Honestly Derpy" Amethyst tutted, climbing onto the roof-tops and crossing them to head towards the Tardis.

"No, I meant that I forgot that was happening now, I didn't forget it completely" Derpy said, shooting Amethyst a questioning look as she trotted towards the Tardis.

Doctor- I'm glad you liked it! I'll be off now, no need to pay me. *begins trotting out of the door merrily*

"Farewell!" Celestia called after the Doctor.

"Hello honey! How's life being a big blue box? He has the keys, doesn't he?" Amethyst asked, jumping down by the Tardis.

"He does, but he'll be here soon" Derpy said, waiting by the door.
