"I can't wait either," Badgerstorm purred. "But in truth, I'm actually kind of nervous too...What if I'm not a good father? Or what if something bad happens?" He shook his head as if shaking away all of the worrying thoughts that nagged at him.

"Aw, okay...What should we do until then?" Maplepaw asked.

"Hi," Dustpaw greeted his mentor. "Oh, that's right! Sometimes I nearly forget that Wolfsong's so close to kitting...Well, we had better go fetch them now then."

Wolfsong let out a meow of amusement. "Oh Badgerstorm you'll be a good father. Your kits will want to become a strong loyal warrior like you. You'll be fine." she purred.

Rainsong thought for a moment before responding. "I think I'm going to nap. Why don't you see if anyone will go on a walk with you."

Cherryblossom chuckled and flicked her apprentice's ears. "Oh Dustpaw it's alright. Things have been a bit busy so don't worry. Come along now." she purred, padding out towards the exit of the camp.

Badgerstorm smiled at this. "Thank you, Wolfsong. I'm sure they'll be just as beautiful and loving as you are as well."

Maplepaw nodded. "Okay! Have fun with your nap!" When Rainsong had wandered off to the warriors' den, the young she-cat looked around the camp for someone who would walk with her. She spotted Russetprint not far off and bounded over to the ginger-and-white warrior. "Russetprint! Do you want to go on a walk with me?"

Dustpaw padded after Cherryblossom and out of the camp. "What herbs do we need to get first?" he asked her.

"And I'm sure they'll be as loyal and strong as you are." Wolfsong meowed, smiling up at the tom.

Russetprint looked down at Maplepaw and nodded. "Alright. I was just about to go for a walk myself. I wouldn't mind the company." the she-cat meowed.

"Oh lets collect what ever herd we find. It best to restock while we can." Cherryblossom meowed happily.

Maplepaw gave a little bounce of excitement. "Yay! Let's go!" She took off for the camp entrance, quick as a rabbit.

"Right." Before long, Dustpaw spied a bushy clump of thin, green leafy plants. "Chervil!" he exclaimed. "That's good for kitting, right?"

"Hey, Sparrowpaw!" Ashstream called to her apprentice. "Do you want to do some training?"

Russetprint chuckled and followed the young apprentice. "Slow down Maplepaw. This is a walk not a race." She meowed. Rainsong sure did have his paws full but Maplepaw was a good apprentice.

"I belive so. Grab some. It wouldnt hurt to have it." Cherryblossome meowed.

Sparrowpaw nodded and smiled a bit at his mentor. "Alright. Lets go."

Maplepaw slowed down so that she was walking at just the same pace as Russetprint. "Where should we walk to, huh? I was thinking I'd like to go down to the river...Oh, but the Moonflower sounds like fun too! What do you think, Russetprint?"

Dustpaw gently nipped the chervil off from its stalks until he had collected a good bundle of it. Then he padded off, Cherryblossom right beside him, searching the territory for any others herbs that they would need to gather.

Ashstream smiled. "Okay then, let's go!" She trotted off merrily to the Training Lea.

"We can go to both places." The red tabby meowed, giving the apprentice a smile. Russetprint lead the way, keeping a decent pace that wasn't to fast or slow.

"So Dustpaw how are you with the other apprentices?" Cherryblossom asked. "You only talk to me and Maplepaw most the time. Is something holding you back to making friends with others?"

Sparrowpaw, raced a bit ahead of Ashstream, excited to get to training.

"Both places!" Maplepaw echoed. "Oh, my StarClan, thank you! Thank you so much!" She bolted ahead of Russetprint in her excitement, giggling like a kit who had just been introduced to the big, wide world.

Dustpaw shrugged and set his herbs down for a moment so that he could talk freely. "I don't really know. I suppose I just prefer quietness and solitude to a lot of company. I know that it's good to make friends, but...I really don't need any more. Is that bad?" He looked at her with a slightly worried expression, suddenly wondering if he came off quite obviously to his Clanmates as introverted or unsocial.

Ashstream laughed and quickly caught up to her apprentice. "Slow down there, tiger! You don't want to be too tired to train, do you?"

Russetprint laughed a bit at Maplepaw. "Oh Maplepaw your a lively young cat. How does Rainsong even handle your jumpiness excitement?" the tabby she-cat asked.

"Your just like that other apprentice. Sparrowpaw's sister Fadedpaw. You both are very quiet and don't really talk with others unless its your mentor. Why not try talking to her?" The albino she-cat meowed smiling at Dustpaw. "I think you to would be good friends."

"Okay." Sparrowpaw meowed, slowing his pace down to a normal walk.
