{"Wellll..." Ayra trailed off with a grin "How can I put this nicely..." Humming to herself she tapped her chin "Let's just say when the big bad agents couldn't find someone, or have their corpse brought in, dead, they called me..." Her eyes danced with emotion, mainly excitement, at the thought of her past job. "But I had to give it up, too many threats from outside forces, I got caught onto a big agency's radar, you've met them, and had to go under cover, fly under the radar." Her smile brightened at the thought of going under cover, sending them off her trail. Ayra bounced once and grinned like a child "Oh my gosh, can we? Oh can we can we?" Ayra giggled.
"Impossible challenges..." She whispered back with venom in her voice. Rolling her eyes she only huffed "That's what the government wants you to think..." She muttered under her breath while casting him a strange glance.
Ayra chuckled and shook her head when he called her by the title he had given her when they first met...when they first met...in those woods when he was dying. Such a strange way for a friendship to develop, but they were friends, they picked on each other, insulted, sassed, and fought. Ayra eyes widened quickly when he grabbed her shoulders and seemed to lean forward quickly...what in the name of science...? When she finally realized what was about to take place it was already too late, their faces collided, or well, lips anyways. Instantly she could feel her face grow extremely red from embarrassment. "FRICK- FUDGE- NO- What do I do?!" She thought within a split second. Placing her hands on his chest she shoved him away when he made a high-pitched sound that could be passed as a sound of surprise. Not knowing if it was truly surprise that they *internal gag* kissed or her reaction she glared, still aware her face was a deep crimson. "WHAT THE LEGIT HECK LOKI?! I only danced with you! This-" She motioned between herself and him "is not a thing!" Turning her head she wiped her mouth on her shoulder while listening to him squeak out words..."Did he just say...sorry? No must've misheard him..." But the look on his face almost made her wince. Before she could make a bigger fool of herself she turned on her heel and dropped her face so that her hair dropped to the sides of her face and hide the embarrassment that was etched all over it while walking away. Bringing her hand up to her face she put it on her forehead while walking. Never in her life had she ever felt more awkward or embarrassed, or ever kissed someone for that matter.}

Then the amusement won over and she doubled over in silent laughter, trying desperately not to draw attention to herself and give Ayra and Loki a target. I am sooooooo dead. She thought to herself. )
{Loki cocked his head to the side ever so slightly as he listened to Ayra speaking about her past 'job'. He couldn't hold back a low chuckle. The joy in her eyes seemed great and truthful so he doubted that she'd be making this up. Of course they'd been bantering and only half-serious, but obviously there was a true core. He eyed the mortal, wondering how red her ledger truly was. Had she ever killed someone? Directly, indirectly? Who could know. Considering her age she'd most likely not been "in the business" for long before giving it up. Whatever the true shade of her ledger was, she'd stopped before it could turn even half as red as Widow's. The god found this thought amusing - Black Widow with her gushing red ledger was working for this 'certain agency' whose radar Ayra got on, after all. Loki decided not to ask further for now, he'd probably find out more details later on 'cause it seemed to be a topic she liked to talk about. "Yes, yes we can and we certainly will, at a point." he answered her question, voice filled with anticipation. He grinned and slightly shook his head when the mortal talked back yet again. Twice in a row, not bad. Why was he not bothered by this? He didn't even know. Somehow, Ayra talked back in a very entertaining way. Raising his index finger, the god lifted his brows a bit, holding her gaze. "Because the government must know." After a short moment he chuckled. "Plot twist, I am the government.".
Loki stumbled backwards, half being shoved by the mortal and half because of his own shock making him scoot away from her. While she deeply blushed and started to yell at him, the god could only stand there and stutter, holding his hands in front of him in an appeasing way. "I...no, really, I didn't think...I didn't mean to...I'm sorry!" It happened rarely that he was out of words, but now was one of those moments. And it only made him feel more miserable. Loki suddenly felt a strange kind of heat creeping up his cheeks. They felt burning hot, in fact. His eyes widened even more while he stared desperately at Ayra. Was he blushing? Oh no, no no no no no! Judging by the burning sensation his cheeks had to be redder than Widow's and Ayra's ledgers combined. In an instant he put forth an illusion to cover it up, but was aware that the mortal had most likely noticed it. She'd have to be blind not to. He took another step backwards while she turned her face, apparently trying to cover her own blushed cheeks with her golden locks. In this moment Loki wished to just disappear, it was too awkward, too embarrassing, way too much to handle. Being unable to control his tongue, unable to keep from blushing, and...had he just...Oh. My. Lord. He'd just said sorry to her. He had actually, really, seriously just apologized to a mortal. Twice. While said mortal turned and started walking away, Loki for the first time turned around and saw...Muninn, and Sleipnir. "What in Hel's name was that!? Did you just!?" The god was so glad to possess magic right now, or else they'd have seen his deeply flushed cheeks. The severity of the impact and Muninn's expression left no doubt it'd been him who crashed into Loki, and the way Sleipnir was obviously trying to stay away and hide her amusement, which she didn't fully manage, suggested she wasn't at all innocent. He looked between them and then shook his head, facepalming. "I swear by Hel, you'll regret this!" Then he turned and started to run after Ayra. he had to explain this to her. What if she'd really think he did this purposefully? Oh dear, no!}
