I have some experience with red ledgers, you know. So we're at a hundred shades already, fifty aren't enough? Your ledger really must be dripping. And even further up the ladder already...or shall I say further down? Why would I not be surprised if you told me that you happen to be a spy and assassine? Maybe even Russian." Loki smirked and watched her closely as she contemplated, then shrugged. "Alright, then don't join my side and miss out on the fun. And don't tell me your plans. 'Whatever helps you sleep at night'. Normally I would now say don't come crying to me when the potential logic flaw kicks your butt, but when it does I fortunately won't be there to hear you mewl. If you manage to kill me, that is." He chuckled when she once again couldn't contain her amusement about his sherlocking. "Oh yes, you should be worried, very worried." When Ayra told him the condition, Loki looked at her for a while, head slightly cocked and eyes alert and rather serious. Not grim, but the teasing look had disappeared from his face so he looked a lot more honest. "Such terms can only be met by me if you meet my terms first. Prove to me that you are not just another living, breathing mortal. Prove to me that you are worthy of being my equal. Then I shall consider. My terms might not be easy, but neither are yours." The mortal started to counter his attack once more, but this time she wasn't mocking anymore but more or less ranting, so Loki was at least getting somewhere and his rage ceased a bit. He was still annoyed but at least didn't feel like strangling her anymore. "Well then do not say I didn't warn you until the very last moment. If you were unaware it wouldn't be half as foolish as it is this way. Plot twist, I can very well track down your fears and drown you. Because I will track them down as I drag you down and drown you in them. And they will be the iciest water you've ever felt." As she started to rant about her family, the god's remaining anger was pushed back by several other feelings and thoughts. Loki kept reading her, noting her reactions now even more carefully than before, highly alert. Her anger was building up, obviously he'd just managed to hit a sore spot. That wasn't surprising, most people reacted strongly when it came to threats against their family even though the details of her reactions were in fact not what he'd expected. Still, bottom line was that family apparently was a sore spot of hers. Good. The god was tempted to go on, he would've known how. 'Oh good to know, I shall go for those few close ones then and destroy every single one of them, thank you for the hint. How does it feel to be responsible for their cruel deaths? Maybe I should let you live to see how I kill them slowly and intimately. You will live all alone or die all alone, depending on where I go from there. Alone and with the guilt. The only ones who ever cared about you will be gone, and you gave the lethal hint. And nobody there to comfort you. Do you fear being alone, lost child?' Yes, he had every single word laid out, ready to be unleashed, to break further through the walls. But Loki decided to bite his tongue, after all he was not meaning to make her hate him forevermore unless of course she pushed him over the edge with ongoing mockery, in which case he would now have a good basis to work from. But Loki hoped it wouldn't happen. Don't go there. He liked her, after all. If only she wasn't forcing him to be this cruel, with her mockery. If only she wasn't so foolish. The god took a deep breath. "Whatever, I am done with this for now. Unless you keep on mocking my heritage in which case we can continue if you wish. But either way, you shouldn't get this furious at me, staring at me as if this was all my fault. You decided to scoff, you decided to carry on when I made it clear it was enough. Don't mock the beast and complain when it bites you. Don't go swimming in icy water and complain about the frostbite." After they'd both calmed down he simply went for a smirk as she still doubted he could break through her walls. "Like I said, I like challenges." The trickster couldn't contain a chuckle when she admitted that she'd enjoy seeing him kneel. When she stood beside him and didn't have a specific song in mind he smiled. Very well, this meant he didn't need to talk her out of her idea, because he did have the perfect song in mind already. "I think I've got the right song. No worries, nothing slow or romantical. I think you'll like it." Loki stood to face her and used magic to alter his outfit, going for the smooth 'coat with scarf' look he'd shown in Stuttgart for he found it to be fit for what was to come. "Okay, a few things. Try to stop thinking, let go of any doubts or 'how shoud I move now' thoughts. Whatever happens, don't question it and try to go along with it, follow my steps. This is the best part about me being your dancing teacher. You get to learn it by doing it. Alright?" The trickster smirked and drew up a spell, and after a few seconds the music started playing.
Meep. Starts at 1:11:33, very last song of the tracklist, it is linked in the info section. :3}
{"No, I guess I shall continue to not think about what you do with your nights." Ayra feigned a shudder before grinning. "Oh yes, I would know. You killing eighty people in two days? Impressive, sort-of." She cast him a grin. "Oh yes, probably around a hundred. I wasn't always a vet you know." Snicking lowly to herself she thought over a particular moment she was on an assignment with another agent. Oh such fun...too bad she had to go under radar and give it up. "I would not surprise myself if I was classified as an assassin. But no, not Russian." She grinned "I'm Ca'meridutch Northerngerman." Ayra tilted her head slightly and gave a look of thought "Quite a mouthful if you ask me." (By the way, my siblings and I made that up on our way to Canada, it's combo of all our heritages XD) Ayra smirked "Its not if, it's when, Sassy Pants the Third." She chuckled to herself. Watching him lose his playfulness from his green eyes, she internally laughed at his face. Never did she think he could have such a serious part of him. Well, proven wrong. "Alright, just tell me then...how should I show you I'm of equal?" Ayra cocked her hip and crossed her arms while giving him a curious look.
"I will not say you didn't warn me. Because I know you did, but when do I ever make smart decisions and follow advice? Almost never." Ayra's eyes shifted around his face before settling once again on his eyes with a less rage induced glare. She was starting to cool off, still furious, but relaxing. "Well then have fun finding them. Not even my own friends and family know my true fears, honestly, I don't even know all my own fears...I've just buried them so deep. But if you're willing to get your hands dirty, have fun searching, but there is no guarantee you'll find any." Clenching her jaw she slowly grit her teeth in an attempt to cool herself before exploding like a ticking time bomb. "Agreed. I don't wish to continue this conversation any further. It will do us both no good in the long run." Straightening her shoulders she stuck her hands in her jean pockets with a less than caring expression on her face as she looked at her surroundings. "Oh I'm not complaining about the beast biting me, I'm praising it. It's good to feel pain every once in awhile, reminds me that I'm not just some robot, that I am in fact a living, breathing, and moving mortal." Huffing under her breath she sideways looked at him. That stupid smirk he almost always wore was back... Ayra didn't know whether she should be glad it was back, or worried...but her face still held a look of indifference. "Impossible challenges..." She muttered under her breath, low enough for just her to hear, but the words still left her lips. "I'm not sure whether to be worried that you have a song in mind, or glad that I don't have to think of one..." Watching him change outfits suddenly it caught her off-guard and she flinched away from him as though he was about to strike her. "But- How- Oh nevermind I don't wanna know." Shrugging her shoulders she straightened herself and stood in front of him. "Hmm. I'm a visual learner so this might not be too hard." Grinning now she held her hand out to him mockingly with a smirk "Care to dance, oh dear Sassy Pants the Third?" Ayra chuckled to herself at her antics. "Interesting choice of music. Didn't know you were into MJ. "}
