Aria
Aria essentially just ignored Serena, prioritizing her thoughts carefully so she could try to speak coherently to Eric. And she did believe that if the girl had wanted to hurt them, she would have already. Even if that was a lie and she was waiting her chance, Aria was confident neither Eric nor herself would be caught off guard. Her shoulders were rigid, her posture and presence seeming rather unforgiving as she walked with him. "Why didn't you tell me?" she asked, her voice a thousand times softer than her presence. She crossed her arms but tried to relax her shoulders, she didn't want him to feel like she was attacking him. "I thought I felt it about you before, but... It wasn't until that demon got so close that I realized it was you, not something you carry or the general state of the kingdom that has been agitating me these past days." She looked from his good eye- his beautiful, vibrant good eye- to the side of his face he kept hidden. "Were you born with it?" She knew this was abrupt of her, and part of her wondered if he wouldn't be angered by her blunt "interrogation." She kept her eyes on his, willing him to see that she held no ill will, that she only wanted answers. She thought of the gems on her collar bone, particularly the light one which currently burned worse than her fire stone.
Cole
laughed at Jay, smiling good naturedly as was typical for him. Still, even with Lekunai, Tanno, and Jay jokingly threatening him, he found his attention drifting away from the conversations around the fire and being pulled to Talia by her beautiful voice. He'd always admired good singers. He could hold a melody, but he was more of a member of the choir than a soloist. People paid him for the magic he worked with his hands, not his voice. When Alorn invited her closer to the fire, Cole nodded in agreement- wanting them to feel comfortable since this whole arrangement had sort of been his doing- but he had a feeling that if they really wanted to be with the group, they'd be with the group. He watched the big cat bring Bane her peace offering with another of his usual smiles.
Arabella
Smiled as she listened to Talia's voice- it was nice to hear other people sing once in a while. She watched Alorn give Jax some food and shrugged at his question. "Well, I'm not sure if my supply shop in Fioree has survived this long, but even if the building is still standing, I can't imagine there's much left on my shelves after all this..." She sighed, feeling somewhat tired as she thought about her livelihood being in jeopardy again, and scratched Jax's head. "So... maybe I'll go back to singing and dancing for coins. That's how I earned enough to get that creeky old shop in the first place, anyway." She shrugged. "People can't always afford the things they need, but everybody needs something to lift their spirits now and then."
Luke
Luke listened to her idea as he swung into his saddle. He wasn't comfortable with royalty, and so he wasn't 100% comfortable with this idea, but it was the best plan either of them had come up with, so he shrugged and nodded. "Which kingdom?" he asked her. He looked around out of habit, not failing to notice Thunder diligently standing between the two of them, ears perked for instruction. He shook his head. How had he become so soft? Caring about a dog of all things. And a girl... caring about her, too. He shook his head almost imperceptibly and looked back at Lilly. He wondered what on earth the two of them could possibly offer a royal family, unless they successfully won back Ferden's assets. Lilly was, after all, the only one left of her family. Luke was concerned for her, but at least he would make sure she had a body guard. She may have been without advisors or anything else of any particular use, but he'd give her what he could.
