He smiled. "Beautiful, this will be a nice challenge." he commented, watching Todge for a moment before trying again with the halter.

"What's with her anyway?"

"Sorry, I'm just... Tired." She sighed, everyone knew what she meant, with the lack of food and water they had all experienced.

He pulled back again, ears pinned.

He shrugged. "Who knows...well actually Eagl-Switch, might." he said, correcting himself on Switch's name.

He nodded. "Exactly, we should be resting before planning." he said and got up. "I'll look for a water source."

Suddenly he had a rope out and he easily caught Todge around the neck with it, forcing the halter on. "Your listening to me now." he growled calmly.

"Well just try not to get killed again, ok?" He said, standing.

"I'll come with you." She stood, she didn't want to stay near Hatter.

He tossed his head up sharply, jumping back again.

He sent a light, warning shock through the rope and pulled his head forward, latching the halter on over his ears.

She walked over to him, glad to be getting away from Hatter.

He snorted and tried pulling away again.

He walked out into the woods and looked for water, heading downhill.

He locked it in place then stepped back. "Now for as long as your here, I own you, along with your master Slasher of course."

He got back in th clearing and glanced around. "Did they abandon us?" H asked a bit too hopefully.

He came upon a stream and dropped to one knee, cupping his hand and taking a long drink.

He clipped a lead to the halter and yanked him forwards towards a stall.
