He tried not to look discouraged. "Please? We wouldn't have anywhere to go if you didn't take us."

"We'll help you find somewhere safe. But you can't come with us. It's too dangerous, for everyone involved." She looked them in the eye.

Jinxx looked down. The last thing he wanted was for them to be captured.

He nodded agreement with Tii. "And trust me, if anything bad does happen, you'll be happy you can simply die off."

He felt chills go down his spine, maybe it wasn't his job to stick with these two, he could always help others.

Tii nodded. "You guys get some sleep. I'll take the first watch." She said as the sun began to set.

He nodded obediently and went to lie down under the safety of the bank.

He fell asleep quickly.
