They disappeared among the crowds, he kept his head down and avoided looks.

Tii stuck close to him, keeping her hair in her face and watching out for hunters.

"Where are we going?" He whispered to Tii, trying to get into an alley without shoving people around and attracting attention.

Tii shrugged. "I don't know, maybe we could get through this city and find a small town?" She suggested quietly.

He nodded agreement and headed away from the crowds, making sure his new bag was tightly around his shoulders.

Tii followed, watching as the buildings got farther apart as they neared the edge of the city.m

They finally got out of the busy parts and into the open. He glanced behind them. "I'm guessing word hasn't gotten this far yet, or we'd already have someone on our tails."

Tii nodded. "They'll probably hear by tonight. We should go as far as we can."
