He bit his lip and nodded vigorously, wiping some dirt off her face. "Yeah, yeah I am now." He whispered so only she could hear and tried not to let some of her new scars make him mad until later. He was still holding her and he as hesitant to let go.

He glanced at Scythe briefly and hugged her tight. "I'm not."

He looked down and quickly hid it behind his back. "Nothing." He said quickly then looked at her neck, then glared at Garett knowing exactly what he did.
